Part 2: Does She Know?

-Morning
I was ready for the first day of my new school. I ate, brushed my teeth, dressed in my favorite clothes and got my school supplies together.
Mom was out at work so I was unable to say my goodbye. I was usually by myself, home alone. I have no siblings, I have no dad that I know of and other relatives either hate us or live in another town.
As I exited out the house and walked on my way to school, a frequent thought came to mind. Who's my father? These passed years I never grew up with a father nor with a father figure. What's it like to have a complete family?
I shook my head. I started going over through what I need to to once I get to school. Walk in, go into the main office, get my schedule and locker and adjust to the new environment.
I then noticed a familiar hoodie in front of me a few feet away.
It was the boy with red hair. Two other people walked besides him. One was a girl with blonde and the other was a boy with brown hair. The boy and girl chattered away as the red haired boy seemed to be listening to music. Are they going to the same school?
I started to slow down my pace, enough to distance myself from him and the other two people. I didn't want to get noticed by him. I wonder if he remembers me from yesterday?
As I walked, I spent the time listening to music. I started listening to my favorite artist(s) , _______ , to have my mind off of the red haired boy. Music is truly one's best friend.
I examined what was around me. Other people around my age where heading the same direction I was. Except most of them were on the other side of the street, as if they were avoiding someone on my side. I probably shouldn't think too much about it.
I continued to listen to music, singing the lyrics to the song passionately in my head. I may have a straight face, but a lot goes on in my mind.
Arriving at school, there were multiple entrances with people going in and out. The red haired boy and his two other friends parted ways and entered different entrances. Luckily he didn't enter the same door I needed to enter through.
Why am I trying my best to avoid him? Mostly to save both of us the embarrassment. Then again, I could use a new friend. Although he probably doesn't want to interact with me?
Something I noticed is that everyone somewhat made way for the red haired boy as he entered the building. As if they didn't want to be near him. Was that why not many people walked on my side? Because of the red haired boy? Or is it a coincidence?
Coming near the school's main entrance, I had few pairs of eyes look at me. Maybe they noticed I was new?
"Does she know?" I heard a girl next to the entrance in a loud, obvious whisper. I felt that she was looking at me, along with two other girls. I avoided eye contact and went inside the building.
I strolled down the hall, reading the signs that were above the doors. On most of the signs were numbers, I read a few signs saying "Library", "Bathroom" and "Teacher's Lounge".
I found the sign I was looking for, the "Main Office" sign. I went in the room, there was a front desk, behind it was another desk with a young woman typing away on a computer.
There was papers neatly piled on her desk, along with folders and a photograph of a pig in frame. The pig was wearing clothes and a necklace How cute.
"May I help you?" She asked, looking up from the computer.
"I'm new here so I need to receive my schedule and locker." I explained.
"Enter this door here, it'll lead you to the principal's office. I'm the secretary here and I go by Shizune. Welcome to the school." She said as she smiled.
I thanked her and entered the door Shizune pointed at. I saw another lady sitting down, at a desk. She seemed a little more mature looking than Shizune. Something that stuck out was the purple diamond on her forehead and her big...personalities.
Next to her was a girl sitting on a chair, slouching. She had long brown hair and her eyes were unique. They were brown, but seemed to have a hint of coral on her pupil. She looked very tired. She had dark bags under her eyes.
The two were talking until I entered. I introduced myself and asked for my schedule. The principal introduced herself, she was known as Principal Tsnuade. She gave me my schedule and I took a quick glance at it:
