Another to long after our conversation, we walked up to a familiar place. It took my mind a moment to register where we were.

"The Leaf Village?" I said with a surprised tone lacing my voice.

Realization hit me smack in the face. "Wait but you're a rogue ninja!" I exclaimed, wide eyed.

Sasuke chuckled softly. "I already spoke to Lady Tsunade. She's not happy and we'll be under constant watch by ANBU's for a long time."

I stared blankly down at his head. "Just like that?" He nodded.

"Wow. The Leaf Village really goes easy on criminals." I said shrugging and hopping off his back.

Sasuke wasn't amused.

"Since you and Luna aren't rogue, you can head to the hotel." Sasuke said handing me a set of keys. "Kyoto Hotel. Room number 17. Itachi and I must go speak with Lady Tsunade." He kissed my forehead softly before walking away.

He stopped about 10 feet away and turned back. "By the way, you may want to go to the hospital to get properly healed." And with that he and Itachi walked off into the village after a few brief words with the gate guards.

I looked over at Luna. "So uhh. Any idea where the Kyoto Hotel is?"

"Nope." She responded.

"Shit." I said with a sigh.

I walked up to the gate guards who were arguing with each other.

"Um excuse me." They both looked up at me. "I'm visiting and was wondering where the Kyoto Hotel is." I asked politely with a smile.

"D-down the street and make a left at the fountain" One of them stuttered with a soft blush.

"Thank you!" I said with a genuine smile.

Luna followed behind me inside the gates and down the street.

My eyes raked in my surroundings. Villagers and ninja were walking happily down the streets, going about their business. Cute little shops were everywhere along with some nice-looking restaurants and cafes. A group of young kids weaved through the other people, chasing each other and playing around.

"It's so peaceful." I said to myself.

"Nice change from the Village Hidden In The Blood." Luna stated.

"You got that right." I said, trying not to think about it. "I like it here."

"Me too." Luna said with an odd look in her eyes.

"Wait. Echo. Weren't we supposed to turn left at the water fountain?" Luna asked.

"No I think it was right." I said stated.

We stared at each other a moment.

"Yeah we're going with yours." I said turning left. She laughed and followed.

"I wonder what all is different here. Like foods and stuff." I said, daydreaming.

"Haven't you been here before? Like when you gave Lady Tsunade the intel?" Luna asked with a confused look.

"Kind of. I only came here once. It was at night and I was in a hurry. Usually Lady Tsunade, or one of her ANBU, would come to me." I said with shrug. Luna nodded.

"Makes sense."

We got quiet after that. We just looked around curiously and continued walking in a comfortable silence. Some after, we came to the Kyoto Hotel. It was a fairly small place but rather nice. More like a motel though. There were two floors and all the doors to the rooms were on the outside.

"Is this it?" I asked.

"Looks like it. Let's go. I'm tired." Luna said walking up the stairs to the second floor.

We walked to room 17 and slid the key in the lock.

It was clean and crisp inside but freezing cold. Luna walked over and turned the air down as I changed my clothes and crawled under the thick covers. I was out the second my head hit the plushy pillow.

Hey guys!

So I got a couple comments saying that I have too many authors notes in this book and that they're annoying and misleading but I was just wanting to explain that this book is a rough draft. I have not gone back to edit anything. And you cannot expect a rough draft to be anywhere near perfect. I will put in the description that there are quite a few authors notes but please be gentle with constructive criticism. This is the first story I've ever written and I'm still trying to figure everything out.

Also, if you want me to update, comment and vote. That's my biggest motivation. Positive comments really help me power through rough patches in writing. Thanks for all your support guys!!!!!
