"So, how are you gonna explain to your friend about what happened to her boyfriend once she found out?" Ran asked as we continued to eat.

This got me thinking for a few minutes before responding. "Well I'm just gonna tell her the truth of course. It was either that or he gets killed. I mean honestly, him being laying down on a bed is much better than him laying in a coffin" she muttered.

"Well if you say so then. But if that man causes trouble neither me or Rindou will stand by" Ran said and Rindou just nodded along with his brother.

"Hmm, alright I understand that" I said with a shrugged and quickly finished my food. Once we were done eating, Ran payed for the food and we all left.

And just as we were about to enter the car, I received a call from Ella. "Oops, looks like I need to answer this first, just a moment you guys" she said and answered the call.

"Hey Ella, do you need something?" She asked as she looked at both Ran and Rindou. "Yeah, I need an explanation why Oscar is in the hospital" she said and I can practically see her frowning on the other side of the line base on how she sounded.

I heaved out a sigh as I explained to her. "Well it was either that or he gets killed Ella. I had to ask Mikey not to kill him, and that even cause Ran and Rindou being punched" I said and waited for her response.

It was silent on the other line for a few seconds before I hear her heave out a sigh. "Alright, that explanation seems reasonable enough. I'm alright with him laying in a hospital bed rather than laying in a coffin" she said making me chuckle a bit.

"That's what I said to Ran and Rindou not long ago" I said and I can hear her chuckle from the other line.

"Well any ways, ho-!!" I didn't get to finish my sentence when I was suddenly pulled inside the car by Rindou.

"Uhh, I'll call you back later" I said and didn't wait for her to hang up and just ended the call. "What the heck?" I turned to Rindou with a raised brow.

"Sorry about that darling, but someone's chasing us again" Ran chuckled as he drived faster making me groan.

"Just how many people kept on chasing you two?" I questioned with a huff making him laugh.

"Gotta get used to that darling, we're the infamous Haitani brothers after all. So many people kept on chasing us, especially the police" he grinned making me slightly roll my eyes.

"Great" I grumbled and just sat there, while Rindou and the car behind us exchanged shots. "I'm rather surprised that none of those idiots even think of shooting your tires" I said making Rindou chuckle as he loaded another magazine in his gun.

"Like you said, they're idiots" He smirked before continuing where he left of. "And I'm also surprised that we still haven't gotten in an accident yet since we're in a highway after all. And not even a single police are chasing us?" I questioned.

"Those idiots well take to long to even try catching up" Ran grumbled from his sit as he made a sharp turn.

"Yep, gotta wear a seat belt now" I said as I quickly fastened my seat belt. "I told you to always fastened your seat belt, I don't want you to get hurt" Ran said as he took a quick glance at me.

I just gave him a sheepish grin as the chase continued.
