Juvia's POV

"Juvia, what's that?" Mira-san asked me as soon as I sat down on my chair. She was pointing at my neck and was blushing a little.

I touched the red mark on my neck, blushed a little, and said, "Ah... Gray-sama said that it means that I'm his and that Ultear will never replace me. Why do you ask?"

Her face turned bloody red and smoke was coming out from her head. "W-WHAT?! D-Don't tell me—?! You actually did it in his office, in BROAD DAYLIGHT?!"

Juvia furrowed her eyebrows and blushed even more from embarrassment. "W-What do you mean? N-No, it's not that."

She holds both of my shoulders and asked, "Juvia, don't you know what this mark really means?!"

"I don't even know what it's called or how it get to my neck," I bluntly said and thought of a lotion. "Yeah, I should buy some lotion later. Mosquitoes just keeps on coming everywhere."

Mira-san's face turned blank after I said that. It's like, she was surprised and shocked. Just by that time, Lyon came to us and then she grabs Lyon's necktie and pushes him down and forth.

"LYON, LISTEN TO THIS! JUVIA DOESN'T KNOW WHAT A HICKEY IS!" Mira-san shouted, making some of the employees turn their attention to us.

A hickey? Did she mean hockey?

Lyon's face turned red as well and even his ears. "W-WHAT?! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! And, you're too loud, Mira!"

"B-B-But—!" She stopped bothering Lyon and looks at me instead. "S-She's too pure and innocent..."

I don't even know what they're talking about right now. What's a hickey? Is it something that I can eat? Or if I'm correct, she means the game, hockey.

Lyon was confused. He walks towards me and looks at me from head-to-toe and looked like he was searching for something. I just sat in my chair, getting weirded out by his sudden actions.

He stopped at one place, which is my neck and blushed even more. "GAH! Gray, that gay cousin of mine—!"

"W-What are you talking about—"

"J-Juvia, listen to me." Mira-san suddenly said and holds me again in both of my shoulders. She was sweating a lot, like she's nervous or something. "A-A hickey is when you—"

"MIRA!" Lyon butted in and covered her mouth. "I-I think it's better if Gray's the one who'll explain it to her!"

"B-But we should cover the hickey on her neck before anyone sees it!" Mira-san defended and gets off of Lyon.

Hickey that... Hickey this... What is this?

Mira-san gets something from her bag and wraps it around my neck. It's a red scarf and it's comfy too. "There, that should do it. You can return my scarf tomorrow."

I pouted. "B-But, what's a hickey—"

"WE WON'T ANSWER!" Lyon and Mira-san said in unison.

"And, don't even sesrch it on google please, Juvia-chan." He said and coughs a little. After that, he turns around so he could not face me.

People are so weird these days...

"What's with the scarf?" Gray-sama asked me as soon as he went out of his office. Finally, we could eat dinner together and celebrate our monthsary.

I blushed a little as I shyly said, "Mira-san said that I should wear it and return it tomorrow because of the red mark for some reason."

Before he could say anything, he was pulled by Lyon and Mira-san into a corner. They looked like they were talking about something private and important.

"Gray, you sly fox! Why did you take her **** in your office??"

"Wha—?! I DIDN'T!"

"Then can you explain the hickey?"

"YOU GUYS SAW IT?!"

I felt a drop of sweat running from my head to face. They didn't have to whisper-shout. I could hear everything they're saying. And they're still talking about the hickey-thingy.

Gray-sama's face turned red while the two of them kept on asking him a lot of questions. He could answer because of embarrassment, I think? Either way, he looked cute as he blushes.

"AH! It's none of your business, sheesh!" He suddenly shouted and stormed out from them while they were smirking. He grabs my hand and pulls me out of the company while saying, "Let's go, Juvia!"

I-Is he angry now?

I just followed him because he is holding my hand right now. We later came to his car and got inside. We're going to restaurant near Akihabara, which is a bit far from here. We were both listening to the music coming from the radio.

And I couldn't help but ask him...

"Gray-sama?"

"What?"

"What's a hickey?"

He almost stopped the car, making the both of us lean forward but he quickly controlled the car so we could avoid it. Thanks to the seatbelt, I didn't bump into the glass in front of me.

His ears turned red and even his cheeks again. "I-I-It's... W-Well... How should I explain this? Juvia's like a kid so..."

[A/N: He just whispered the italicized words so Juvia won't hear it.]

I pouted at him. "Should I search it then?"

He blushed even harder and he shook his head multiple of times. "N-No...! You might see some videos of them making— Ah, just don't! I'm telling you this for your own sake."

"Then tell me the meaning of it." Juvia said and sighed. "Lyon and Mira-san won't tell me anything so Juvia figured that you would at least tell her the meaning."

He gulped and just continued on driving. His blush didn't disappear from his cheeks. "... B-Basically, it's what I did on your neck. That mark on your neck is called a hickey or a kiss mark."

"Oh..." I said and held my neck. "... So, what does it really mean?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like, how do you do it to someone? Does it have a special meaning or something?" I asked directly.

I saw his face turned into a complete shade of red as he stopped the car on the side of the road. He rests his head on the steering wheel and refused to look at me.

"... Y-You usually do it with the person you love through kisses and... s-sucking..." He explains and whispers the last word but I heard it clearly. "Hickeys are something that's private and shouldn't be shown to others carelessly."

I blushed as well and looked straight ahead. I finally got the meaning of it. So that's why Gray-sama was kissing my neck yesterday. He was trying to make a hickey.

He straightens up and ruffles his hair in embarrassment. "I-I shouldn't have done that to you... Laugh at me if you want to."

"W-Why should I laugh?" I asked and smiled at him. Wah, my hands are getting sweaty. So that's why Lyon and Mira-san are both blushing earlier because I was carelessly showing the hickey in public.

"... I-In fact, it made Juvia happy."

He finally looked at me but he's gaping. "W-What do you mean—"

"It really means that Gray-sama loves me." I simply said and smiled at him. "Although, she was exposing it to the public and was too innocent to know about it." I simply laughed at my statement.

He gives me a small smile as his blush still didn't disappear. "Even without doing it, I know that you know that I love you so much."

"I love you too." I answered back.

Gray-sama gives me happiness always and doesn't intentionally make me sad. He was once a cold-hearted and rude person but after awhile of getting to know him better, I realized that he's nothing like that and has changed.

"... So, Gray-sama?"

"Yes?"

I put a lock of hair behind my ear as I said, "C-Can I give you a hickey as well?"

That's it, smoke starts to come out from his head and he's red as blood now. "J-J-Juvia, you don't know what you're saying right now. You should s-stop..."

"What's wrong with it?"

"I-It should be the guy who's doing that..."

"But what's wrong with a girl doing it?"

"..."

"Gray-sama?"

The topic about hickeys finally ended and we just had dinner. Right now, we're outside. He brought us to a cliff, literally, but it's not that high and there are a few trees surrounding us. His car is behind us as we are sitting on the grass while having a star gaze.

We're just telling each other about our high school lives. Of course, Gray-sama also mentioned the time when he was dating Ultear but I didn't get jealous because I know that that's in the past now.

The past, present and future are three different things.

"By the way, Gray-sama..." I suddenly said and he looks at me. I looked at him as well as I asked, "Did you also give Ultear a hickey?"

"What?" He furrowed his eyebrows and scratched his neck. "No, I didn't... You're the first one I ever gave one to so..."

I smiled and gave him a hug. I was happy to know that I was the first one he gave a hickey too because according to him, you only do it with the person you love.

Hmph! And he doesn't want Juvia to give him a hickey.

"Ah, before I forget about this," I said and grabbed my gifts for him that's inside my bag. I looked at him and gave it to him with a smile. "Happy monthsary, Gray-sama!"

He accepts it and stares at them in awe. "You made all of these?"

"Yes, especially the jar! You should read it everyday, okay? And the album contains our memories so you shouldn't lose it." I said and pointed at the things I just mentioned. "My letter sounds cheesy but—"

"Dear, Gray-sama. Happy monthsary to us. Now, I didn't forget about this, just like how I did in our weeksary." He started reading it in front of me.

I got embarrassed and tried to snatch it before he reaches the last sentence. "G-Gray-sama, this is so unfair!"

He stands up and I did too, still trying to snatch the letter but his height is a big advantage in here. He just continued on reading the letter while smiling and I just continued on trying to snatch it away from him.

"G-Gray-sama...!"

"You make me so happy everyday and I hope that I do the same thing to you. I hope that..."

Oh, this is so embarrassing. I should take note that I shouldn't give him any letters directly. Ughh. And he's about to reach the last part already! I didn't want him to say it out loud because it's too embarrassing.

"I wouldn't mind if—"

I covered his mouth instead and he was startled at my attack. "P-Please...! Just read it later!"

He smirks and grabs my hand that's on his mouth and gives a light kiss on it. "Okay, okay. I was just teasing you."

He holds my hand afterwards while his other free hand is rummaging through his pocket. "Hey, close your eyes. I'm going to give you my gift as well."

And I did. I just closed my eyes as I waited for him to give me his gift. After awhile, I felt something inserting my ring finger— w-wait, is this—?!

"Open your eyes."

I opened my eyes and I saw my hand intertwined into his. What caught my eyes are the silver rings that has a small gem imbedded in it. We both have it.

"These are called couple rings. It's what couples usually wear so I bought it for us." He said and gives me a kiss on my forehead. "Happy monthsary, Juvia. I'm really happy that I got to know you."

"Me too, Gray-sama." I said and enjoyed this moment.

Ne, Gray-sama? Did you know what's the last sentence in my letter?

It's...

I wouldn't mind if I spent my whole life with you.
