Juvia's POV

I was worried about Gray-sama so I came downstairs and left Mira-san and Lyon while watching the movie. I went straight ahead to the cafeteria, because I know that he's there, and I found something bad.

He is meeting up with a girl and she looked familiar.

I should've known...

It's hard to believe it because he is my first boyfriend and I don't know how I should approach him about this. All I know is that, it hurts so much.

I just kept on running while my tears continued on falling down. I don't know where my legs will take me but I had an instinct and I trust it.

"Juvia, wait!"

It's his voice. There's no doubt about it but for some reason, I didn't stop running.

Because I wanted him to stop me.

"Juvia!"

I sniffed and wiped some of my tears. It's my first time to experience such a love mess. I felt jealous with that girl who's with him and even hugging him. Friends don't do that.

This is all just too new to me... I don't know what I should do. Should I jump over the building? What would Lucy do if she were in this situation? What about Erza and Levy? Mira-san? Y-Yes, I need to see Mira-san and see if she can say anything to me about this problem of mine.

"Juvia Lockser!"

I gasped when he finally got a hold of my wrist and made me stop. I wasn't looking at him. H-How should I act now that he finally caught me?

He made me look at him and held me in both of my shoulders. His eyes slightly widened when he saw me crying. "J-Juvia, it's a misunderstanding. Please, don't cry—"

"C-Congratulations, Gray-sama!" I said and faked a smile. "It seems that you found someone else..."

He furrowed his eyebrows. "What the heck are you talking about?"

"The girl who was hugging you earlier... is the one you really like, right?" I asked and sniffed.

"Juvia, it's—"

"J-Juvia is happy for you... But she didn't think that you would do this behind her back." Juvia said and wiped her tears but they kept on falling down. "Juvia's heart is broken because of sadness a-and... I-Is she not enough for you to cheat? Gray-sama, Juvia is—"

I stopped talking when he suddenly pulled me into him and gave a kiss on my lips. It was a sweet and tender one. I held unto his back, for support, as his kisses started to get deeper. It was overwhelming and good.

He stopped and looked at my eyes passionately. "I won't let you say that I cheated on you because you're wrong. I didn't. That girl is Ultear Milkovich."

I slightly gasped at his explanation. N-No wonder she looked familiar...

"She came back and told me that she was here for a partnership with Lyon and she even asked if we could be partners but I didn't say yes to her. She even asked me if we could date again but I said no because you're the only one for me, Juvia." He said in his husky voice.

M-Misunderstood?

I looked down and said, "... I became a drama queen, didn't I?"

He chuckled softly and hugged me. His hand went behind my head and he whispered, "Yes and my drama queen."

It became one of the most embarrassing moments in my entire life.

This is what I get for having a late boyfriend.

And I told Lucy about what happened.

"HAHAHA! Geez, Juvia!" She laughed. "Well, any girl would be misunderstood if that happened. But well, I'm glad that you guys sorted things out."

"B-But... I'm still embarrassed about the fact that I jumped into such conclusions." I said and bit my lip.

"Like I said, everything will be fine. Gray explained it to you already so you can stop over thinking." She giggled. "I'm glad that you're having fun there."

"Me too... But hey, how's mom?" I asked. I left mom in Natsu and Lucy's care before I went here.

"She's fine but they'll be doing some tests later on her. Don't worry too much. She'll be alright." She explained in her caring tone.

This is what I like about Lucy. She makes me calmed down whenever I have worries and problems. She's always there to listen and help me with it.

I sighed in relief. "Okay then..."

"Hey, I need to go now. Natsu and I are going to somewhere today. Call me again if anything happens!" She said happily and we said good bye to each other before ending the calls.

I'm alone in our room. Mira-san and Lyon were still watching that movie and they're going to watch the 2nd one while Gray-sama is in the bathroom. We both decided that we should hang out for now and go there later.

Hmm...

Now that I saw Ultear's face clearly... I have a feeling...

That I saw her before...

She looks so familiar. I had this same feeling before when they mentioned her name. Now, I don't remember when I first heard or saw her here in Japan.

I bit my lip as I tried to think harder. Ultear... Ultear... Ultear... A girl with brown hair...

"You seem to be in a daze, Juvia."

He suddenly appeared into the scene. He sat next to me in my bed while I sighed. "I wouldn't say that I'm in a daze... I was just thinking about something— Oh, remembering, I mean."

"What is it?" He asked.

"Uhh. It's nothing, really..." I said.

I gasped when he suddenly pulls me into his chest. He made me rest on his shoulder and his chin was above my head. I'm worried about this. We're in bed for goodness sake!

He kissed me on top of my head. "Don't worry, Juvia. You'll remember it. Don't over think."

"I'm not over thinking..." I answered and felt my heart beat going faster in seconds. C-Can he feel my heart beat as well?

"Why don't you go to sleep then?" He suddenly suggested and I furrowed my eyebrows at his weird suggestion. "Uhm. Well, I know that it's early but a short nap won't hurt. I feel like you need it."

"B-But—" It's true that I feel a little sleepy nowadays. Is it because of insomnia?

"I'll be here to watch you sleep." He simply said and gave another kiss on my head but this time, it was longer than earlier.

I smiled and I snuggled into him closer. "Fine then. I'll take your offer. Please be here until I wake up..."

"I won't leave you, darling..."

I closed my eyes as I slowly drifted off to sleep while feeling safe in his arms. ♥

"Juvia, where do you want to go after school?" Lucy asked. "Ice cream shop? Park? Mall?"

"We just went to the mall yesterday." I pointed out and laughed a little. Lucy does really like to go to the mall, always. "Park, it is then."

"Okay then!" She smiled.

When school ended, the two of us walked towards the park. We would do this often because we love hanging out with each other, talking about this and that and some other stuffs.

Especially whenever we have problems. Lucy would always give me the best advices. She's a true friend. And of course, I would do the same thing as well to her.

"Juvia, you don't really have anyone in your mind right now?" She suddenly asked.

"W-What? Of course, no one." I simply answered but why did she ask something like that out of the blue?

Her mouth turned into an 'o'and she slowly nods three times. "Oh, okay. You were spacing out earlier in class so I thought that you're in love."

"Well, not everyone is like you, Lucy." I teased her.

She just pouted. "You're so bad, Juvia."

"That's why I'm your best friend." I winked at her and we both laughed. It was a weird topic to talk about.

A few minutes later, we finally arrived at the park and boy, it was peaceful but later, this park would get filles by couples. Ugh. They just don't know when to flirt or not.

Juvia's NBSB so don't judge.

"Juvia, just wait here for a minute. I need to make a call to my father, okay?" She said as she takes out her phone. She has strict parents.

I nodded at her as she runs off. She opened up to me that she's sometimes annoyed by how her parents get worried about her and get strict about where she goes. They're overprotective but I guess that's how they show their love to their daughter.

I miss my father...

I'll never get a chance to talk to him again... He was always busy.

I sighed and turned around but I bumped into someone who's around my height. I backed away and held my forehead. Ouch, it hurt a lot. It stings like crazy.

"Oh my— I'm so sorry! Are you hurt??" The girl who got bumped into me asked. She didn't look like she's hurt and I can see that she's a high schooler, just like me.

"Y-Yes, I'm fine." I answered and put up a smile. "How about you?"

"Don't worry about me. I'm really sorry. My boyfriend and I were chasing each other and I didn't see where I was going to clearly." She laughed and pointed at the black haired guy who's running towards us.

Uhm. Cringe.

"That's sweet." I commented.

"Oh, my name is Ultear Milkovich. What's yours? You look really beautiful, by the way." She said with a smile.

I blushed slightly. Someone just complimented me and it's not Lucy. "T-Thanks. I'm Juvia Lockser."

"Juvia... It's such a cute and unique name!" She said happily. "I feel like we're going to be friends."

I don't know why but I felt something different when she mentioned about "friends". It felt off for me or was it just a coincidence?

The black haired guy finally caught up. He was heaving as he tried to catch his breath. "Ultear... You sure run so fast..."

His voice...

"Honey, meet Juvia Lockser by the way." Ultear introduced me to her boyfriend. "I bumped into her because of my carelessness."

The guy smiled but I couldn't see his face for some reason. "I'm very sorry about my girlfriend's clumsiness. I hope that you won't get mad at her."

"Oh, don't worry." I said and laughed a little. "Juvia won't."

"Wait, I forgot to introduce myself." He said and cleared his throat. He stretched his arm to me and offered me a smile. And weirdly, his face was becoming clearer.

I thought I stopped breathing when I finally saw who he is.

"My name is Gray Fullbuster. Nice to meet you, Juvia Lockser."

Happy New Year again, guys!

I just want to say thank you to everyone for staying with me in this fanfic. This fanfic has just entered it's 4th year. 🎊 HAHAHA. I will finish this by this year, hopefully.

I love every one of you guys. Even if we don't talk that much, I still love you, whoever you are. 😊😊💕
