Juvia's POV

The next morning, I decided to let go of my uneasy feeling for now. We just got together and I'm having what ifs? No, I should trust Gray-sama forever and ever.

I shouldn't jump into conclusions yet without a definite evidence.

Yes, that's right. Trust is important in relationships. Juvia read about that in a romance book she was reading yesterday. Trusting your partner is more important.

"Juvia-chan, want to eat lunch with me today?" Lyon suddenly appeared out of nowhere and he wiggled his eyebrows at Juvia.

I'm amazed at him. I already rejected him and yet, he's still trying so hard. He's a passionate guy and I can tell now that he's being serious. But... Juvia already has Gray-sama.

I shook my head at him and gave him a small smile. "No thanks. Juvia is busy later."

His smile faded and sighed. "Aw... I really miss hanging out with just you, Juvia. Anyway, I have a plan tomorrow and I guess I can tell you about it. You see, it's my—"

"Juvia."

I quickly stood up from my seat once I heard that stern and manly voice. Lyon stopped talking as well and had his forehead wrinkled. Well, he's behind him so it's no surprise that he was frozen there.

"Y-Yes, Gray-sama?" Juvia quickly asked as she looked at him in the eyes. As usual, he has a poker face on and he's wearing his reading glasses.

"Follow me. We're going somewhere." He bluntly said and started walking towards the elevator casually.

Somewhere? But there's nothing scheduled for him at this time of the day. I made sure of it. Where does he want to go?

Juvia looked apologetically at Lyon, who just gestured for me to go on and she left him there. I'm sorry, Lyon. I'm feeling guilty towards him for leaving him all alone there— Wait, Mira-san's there.

"Gray-sama, where are we going?" I asked after getting inside his car.

He casually started the engine before driving. Well. duh. You can't drive if you can't start the engine. Ugh, Juvia. You're dissing at yourself. It's so weird. "... Do we have problems with each other?"

My mouth turned into an 'o' shape after hearing his question. He was talking about the incident from yesterday... Yes, the one from yesterday. She pulled a strand of her hair and tucked it behind her ear. "N-Nothing."

"Are you sure?" He even made sure of emphasizing the last word and that made me cautious.

"Yeah." I lied but as I said, I should not assume things if there's no evidence about it. It'll only make it worse.

"... Okay, if that's what you say so." He cleared his throat and continued on talking. "By the way, I asked you out today because we're going to have a date."

"W-WAIT, NOW?!" Juvia asked with her cheeks turning red at every second. "B-B-But, Gray-sama! Work! And, I know that you still have a lot of things to do!"

"Nah, I can do it tomorrow. I can move those things in another day if I'm with you. Calm down. I left Mira in charge—" He said and paused for awhile after thinking about what he said. "... Darn it, I shouldn't have done that."

"Eh? What's wrong?"

"She might see unnecessary things on my laptop." He bluntly said.

Juvia immediately covered her body and scooted a little bit away from him. "Gray-sama, Juvia never knew that you were into that kind of things."

"What??" He asked in disbelief. "You're thinking about it in the wrong way. It's just that... I have important pictures there, that's all."

"Pictures...?"

I suddenly remembered about what I saw yesterday in his 3rd album. Is he talking about his pictures with Ultear? I frowned again. Juvia, trust him He's not that kind of guy. You're not a rebound.

"Juvia, you forgot to put the belt on." He said and took a glance at me.

He's right. I forgot to put the belt around me. Now the police might chase us.

"Oh, right... I forgot." I said and laughed a little about my mistake.

I was about to touch the belt from my side when he suddenly said, "Wait. Don't touch it. I'll do it for you. I'll just park the car on the side." We were at the main road and he did park it in the side where there are no cars.

He stood up a little and crouched down as he started to lean towards me. When his chest was near my face, I couldn't help but smell his perfume. It's still the same smell I smell from him every single day. Ah, one of the reasons why I fell in love with this guy.

He pulled the handle of the belt and puts it on the other side to lock it. I just continued on staring on his endearing and lovable face, even if he has an emotionless one. I couldn't help but feel the butterflies flying inside my stomach because of him.

When he finished locking it, he finally looked at Juvia in her eyes. His eyes calmed down and softly stared at mine. Wow, I never noticed that his eyes were this dark. I only noticed it now when he was near me.

I suddenly bit my lip without me noticing it... But he noticed it. His eyes darted towards my lip so I immediately stopped biting it. He suddenly held my hand and squeezed it a little and he started leaning towards my face and closing his eyes as well.

I closed my eyes when I felt his lips against mine. It was a very different kiss than our first and second one. And that's amazing because, it keeps on becoming different every time he does it. Unconsciously, I wrapped my other arm around his neck and pulled him even closer. He squeezed my hand again as he deepened the kiss.

The way his lips moves... How soft his lips are... It felt magical for me. Or is it because I didn't experience kissing back when I was in high school or college?

After a few minutes, he lets go and we were both trying to catch our breaths. It was the longest kiss we ever had— Or should I say, make out?

My face was in a whole different level with the color red.

After having lunch at an expensive restaurant, Gray-sama decided that we should go to an amusement park. Honestly, I didn't expect that he would suggest that place because he wasn't the type of person who would go to places like that. I like going to places like this one.

But as they always say, don't judge the book by its cover.

"Ooh~ Gray-sama, let's buy these two." I suggested and showed him two white rabbit ears headband. We were here at the souvenir shop, just looking around because I suggested it for him.

"W-What?" He was taken aback and twitched his eyes at the headband. "You want me to wear that?"

I pouted in the process. "Yes... Is it bad to request something like that? It's just that, whenever my friends and I go here, we would usually buy headbands and enjoy the rides even if we look like kids."

"... Fine, but it's only for today and since you requested it..." He grunted while I smiled in the process. He would wear something like this for me?

He takes out his wallet snd gave me enough money to buy the two headbands. "Here. You can pay it at the counter."

"Well duh. Where else should I pay these?" I asked and he looked at me with a disbelief look. I stuck out my tongue at him and went to the counter to pay for the two headbands.

Gray's POV

That girl... Is really unpredictable at times. I never knew that I would fall for someone like her. I put my hands on my pocket and followed her as she pays for the headbands.

I don't care if it's beyond my pride to wear that thing. As long as it makes her happy, then it's fine with me.

"Hey, that girl looks kinda cute, right?"

"Yeah, especially her hair. The way her hair is curved at the middle."

"Let's try asking her out."

I quickly looked at the two guys who were staring at Juvia. Tsk. They have nothing to do with their lives. Can't they see that she's with someone?

As I observed with being with her, there are a lot of guys who would casually stare and look at her from time to time. It's not surprising because she is beautiful. And that's why I'm pretty much surprised that she didn't have a boyfriend yet.

I quickened up my pace and quickly went behind Juvia as I gave the two guys one of my deadliest glare. Their expressions quickly changed and they decided to go out of the store without sparing another look at Juvia, which is great.

I'd kill anyone who would do that to her again.

Juvia's POV

"Here you go, miss. Thank you for buying here~! Enjoy rhe rides!" She cheerfully said after giving me a small paperbag with our headbands in it.

I gave her a small smile as my response. The people who are working here are always energetic and cheerful. They're all so friendly and that's why I don't get awkward whenever I'm here.

I quickly turned around but I bumped into his back, making me automatically hold unto my nose.

He turns around again and looks at me. "Juvia, are you okay? Sorry about that."

"I-It's fine." I said and massaged my nose a little. It didn't hurt much. "Besides that, why are you standing behind me? You didn't even tell me that you were there."

"Uh, nothing." He cleared his throat and gestured for us to go out. "Let's go for the rides?"

I widened my smile and nodded. "Yes!"
