It was Michi.....

"LAURANCE....HOW DARE YOU TRY TO KISS HER, YOUR MINE!!!" She screamed  at both of us. I look at Lucinda and she's just looking down. "Michi I was never yours...just because I took you to the dance doesn't mean I like you, also just because to talk to you doesn't mean I like you." I said and realized Lucinda started running home. "FINE!! YOUR A JERK ANYWAYS!" Michi yelled. "But I will never give up" she added and walked away. I look back wondering why Lucinda just ran like that, and I started walking home. It was only the beginning of fall, but it was still extremely cold and I looked down at my hands remembering that I gave my jacket to Lucinda, again thinking about reasons she would just run off.

I get home and change in to my Pajamas. I look at my phone and saw a text from Lucinda.
Luci: I have your jacket still, I'll leave it at your door tomorrow. Don't bother coming outside.
Me: oh...okay, thank you. Why did you run off.
Luci: ..... I have to go.
Me:oh okay....bye, goodnight
It said read and she didn't text back so I knew something was wrong. I went to bed and kept waking up in the middle of the night. I finally go back to sleep from waking up the 5th time. I woke up around nine and went down stairs to get breakfast and i sat and staring eating some oatmeal. When I was about done with breakfast I looked outside and saw Lucinda, I thought she was going to knock but she put the jacket down and started walking away. I run up to the door and open it. "LUCINDA WAIT!" I yell stepping outside. She turns back "what?" In an annoyed voice, "what's wrong, are you mad at me?" I ask in concern. I don't want to talk about it right now!" "Lucinda please! I want to know what's wrong so I can make up for it." Lucinda just looks at me. "Why do you even care?" Lucinda said again sounding annoying. "What do you mean? You know I like you....I mean c-care ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS!!" I said blushing. Lucinda blushed too. "The reason I'm like this is because you told Michi that just because you talk to her doesn't mean you like her... and you talk to me a lot and well I thought that you didn't l-lik-nvm...I guess I'm okay now." I said blushing more. "You thought that because I talk to you a lot...I liked you? And after I said just because I talked to you doesn't mean I like you, you thought that it was towards you too? Huh? I said thinking I knew. "Y-yeah" Lucinda said realizing it was stupid to feel like that. I walk to her and give her a huge hug, "Lucinda I do like you a lot...and I want you to know that." I say we both let go but we are still close together, "I like you too" she says we get closer together but Lucinda backs up and I do to. " WELL I BETTER GET HOME" she said trying to make the awkward situation less awkward. "HA, YEAH. thanks for bringing the jacket" I say smiling and she smiled to and we both waved goodbye. I go inside and I sit on the couch and smile.
