3. A Party!?
Throughout the entire day, Luffy was in the apartment playing video games that he liked or didn't enjoy, even though some weren't fun. He enjoyed the quest or fighting games that he was interested in. Over a few hours after you left, he grew hungry and needed food, so he went into the kitchen to search for something to eat. He looked in the cabinets and the fridge he found some food around.
"There's hardly enough food around here." He said.
He returned to the couch and sat in front of the tv, setting the stuff down.
Meanwhile, you were at work doing your job, just working at Target and scanning the customer's belongings. Your shift was almost over, and it wasn't until one of your co-workers. There was flirting with your boss to earn more than just a raise. Her name was Vanessa, and she goes to the same school you attend, only playing dirty and getting into boys' pants.
Just as you were done with your last customer, you closed your side and went to get your stuff in the back. When you return to get your things and clock out of your shift. The door opened, and it was Vanessa.
"Well, you seem to be having a long day at work with all the customers." Said Vanessa as she leaned against the wall with her arms folded across her chest. "So, you going to the party that Dylan invited everyone to?"
"I guess. I don't know if I am going to go or not." You replied, not looking back at her.
Vanessa stood there for a moment tilting her head to the side, "What? It would be best if you went because tons of hot guys will be there. It's not going to be at his parent's house because the house he picked is old but still in good use, and he's been planning since last summer."
"Oh, goodie." You mocked.
Vanessa says, "Isn't Giselle going to go? She already picked out a guy to go with her." She looked at you as your eyes met with her face. "Do you have a date?" Her eyes popped out of her head, and she moved her head as she questioned you.
"Uh..." It bothers me that you didn't consider having a date to bring to that party. Other than that, there was only one person you could ask to go if they were interested. "...I have a date."
"Oh? What's his name?" She asked.
"Luffy."
Vanessa let out a snort and held back a laugh, "Luffy? What kind of a name is that?" She cackled.
"Look, he's my date, and we'll be at the party." You said, leaving out of the backroom to head straight home.
When you arrived home, Luffy was sitting on the couch, and there was a bunch of trash on the table, floor, and sofa.
"Hey, Y/N! Your back!" Luffy hops off the couch to come over and bring you in a big hug.
"Hey, uh...glad to see you too. You seem to have a blast while I was gone." You said as he turned to look at the mess he had made around the living room.
"Oh yeah..." He said as he went over to pick up the stuff and toss it away.
"Anyway, I wanted to ask you something." You said as he returned to your side, looking at you with full attention. "I was wondering if you would attend a party with me this Friday?"
"A party? Is it with other pirates?" He asked with a wide grin.
"Not really. Just a college party with other students that I go with." You replied.
"Oh," Luffy said as he looked at you blankly. "Will there be food?" You nodded as he formed a giant grin on his face. "Good!"
"However, we will go on a little shopping spree tomorrow." You replied.
"Huh? Why?" He asked.
"You have nothing else to wear besides the one I let you borrow my clothes." You replied, folding your arms over your chest as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Oh, right."
"Be ready for tomorrow, Luffy." You said, walking around him to shower and head to bed.

Wednesday 11: 12 AM
By the next day, you and Luffy got ready for a long shopping spree. He was walking around with you, carrying more than five shopping bags in his arms.
"Okay, I think we have plenty of clothing for you and the college party." You said as he looked at you with a faint smile. "We can stop by a fast food place around here."
"How about that one?" He pointed to the Chick-Fil-A place with a small line of customers.
"You see anything you want, and I can buy it." You said.
Luffy looked at you and said, "No. You don't have to buy it for me, Y/N. I can get it."
"Luffy, you don't have any money or a credit card to pay for a meal like that." You said.
"But I want to as a way to say thank you for helping me. You did a lot for me, and I need to repay you somehow." He lowered his head, feeling guilty.
"Well, I guess you can repay me. Here." You said.
You handed your credit card over to him, and he took it before setting down the bags.
"You want me to use it?" He asked.
"Go ahead. I'll set up a credit card for you, too." You faintly smiled.
"Alright! If you want anything, I can get it for you." Said Luffy.
You told Luffy what to get you, and he turned his heel to get in line to place the order for you two. That was until Vanessa and her friends were tagging along, carrying some bags hanging from their wrists.
She spotted you, and they came over to your table. She said, "Well, I didn't think you would drop by today." You just rested your hands underneath your lap. Then her eyes looked down to see a lot of shopping bags. "Wow, you've spent a lot of money on clothes."
"Yeah...uh, I just thought me and Luffy would go shop for some stuff." You replied.
"Luffy? Oh! That boy you're going to take to the party. He's here?" She inquired.
"Yeah, just getting some food." You replied.
Luffy was already at the front and waiting for the food on a tray. He was walking towards the table you two were eating as the girls were googling, eying him.
"Hey, Y/N, I got our food." He said.
Vanessa looked at Luffy before stepping forward, saying, "Wow, he's kind of a cutie, isn't he?" her mouth gawked openly. "Way too cute." She bit the bottom of her lip.
You spoke up, saying, "Uh, Luffy? Don't you want to eat now?" Luffy went around Vanessa to place the tray down.
The girls were eyeballing everything, but Vanessa frowned that the young male wasn't paying attention to her, only to his food and you. He sat there eating his chicken sandwich, and you were grabbing your food to unwrap it from the wrapper.
"So, Luffy, are you going to the party?" Vanessa asked.
"Yeah, Y/N invited me to the party with you guys. She mentions that there will be food there." Said Luffy.
"Yeah, there will be enough for the party people, especially the ones that are going to be dessert." She purred, winking at the young male as you frowned at her.
"Uh, well, enjoy your day out, Vanessa." You said.
Vanessa and her friends didn't speak about anything else and just left you two alone.
"You didn't mention the desert," Luffy said, muttering under the sandwich as you let out an audible sigh.
