The white Rolls Royce entered the huge air strip making it's way to the shining blue charter jet, standing with pride.

A golden line is running along it's length and a name carved at it's rear in golden letters, "Dehwaar".

Adhvik & Zayd boards the jet.

As they got settled, Adhvik recieves a message & studying it, he grips the phone but remains calm.

It's an hour ride to Dehradun & through out,Zayd is quiet observing his friend.

Sure, this is something serious & he wished it isn't dangerous.

DEHRADUN

In thick of the icy mountains and snowy weather, there lied a big single airstrip and a guy, in his casual clothes is standing beside the Bugatti with his eyes up, at the dewy sky.

He gets erect as soon as the blue Jet appears thrashing away the heavy clouds &  landing on the surface.

As the wheels stop screeching,the exit door opens making way for Adhvik & Zayd.

They get down dynamically, when Zayd is surprised seeing the guy,"Ben?"

"Good Morning bhai", Ben immediately reaches them & greets politely but Adhvik interrupts firmly,"Got him?"

"Yes Bhai but he doesn't know anything", Ben answers with alertness.

Adhvik without looking at him states,
"I want to see her first", and moves ahead followed by both.

DIT

Ben drives them to the DIT.

The three are in the car glancing around the acreage.

"Where is she?",Zayd asks eagerly. It's been a long time since he saw her.

"There",with a little smile Ben points out the direction while the other two look that side where a girl is strolling on the pavement looking down.

Adhvik takes a slow breath seeing her.

Closing his eyes, he relaxes into his seat with his head up when he feels a comforting hand on his shoulder,"Let's go meet her."

Zayd don't know what happened but he could sense his friend's restlessness.

Opening his eyes, Adhvik looks straight surprising Zayd,"Before that we have to meet someone.", his eyes and voice resembling pure resolute.

Adhvik glances at Ben, who understands and  drives the car to the back of the campus, covered with trees. The three men get out and Ben leads them through the sheath of trees where a boy is pleading some guy there, to leave him.

Adhvik stands afront with one hand in his pocket and other fisting his palm. His eyes are covered with shades hiding their true color.

The poor guy at once gets scared looking at the men before him. They looked sturdy and seemed mighty. He is in deep anxiety feeling the scary aura they are oozing.

Zayd completely got the situation but didn't get the reason so atlast queries, "Who is he?"

Adhvik is solemnly staring at the boy,"Vansh, Iski number se hi mujhe call aaya tha"

The guy, Vansh is close to tears listening Adhvik's voice,

"I didn't do anything Sir.I didn't call any one.Trust me Sir.I am innocent.Please.I didn't call anyone.You can check my phone.Please Sir leave me.", his tears fall revealing his innocence.

Adhvik gazes at Ben enquiring whether he checked his mobile.

Ben replies to his unspoken question, "Everything clean Bhai."

Meanwhile Zayd realizes Vansh is genuine and tries to stop Karan but he's already ambling to Vansh.

Removing his shades, he directly looks into his eyes and questions, "Did someone use your phone? Or did you lose your it anywhere?"

Vansh cowers in fear but Adhvik speaks again,"Think carefully and answer.Did you lend your phone to anyone? To friends or somebody found it? "

His not so comforting voice made Vansh rewind the morning incidents,

"Ye ...ye...yes.Me...mera friend ko diya"

"Who's that?", Ben asks in a stern voice, reaching him in a step.

Gulping, Vansh answers, "T...teja"

Adhvik at once get stilled for a second while Vansh continues,

"Subah Teja ne mujhe phone mangi thi.uski mobile repair pe gayi hein aur wo urgently phone karna tha.Isiliye meine usse phone diya"

Ben is shocked, Zayd is confused and when they look at Adhvik they get alarmed.

If he's is angry before, he's terrific now.

Gritting his teeth, Adhvik glances at Ben,"Where is she now?"

Ben replies with a bit nervousness,"Faraday block,2nd floor, communication lab."

Adhvik fists his right palm murmuring,"Tejasswi Vijay Verma"

On the other side,Teja just gets out from her lab chattering with the lab assistant there.

Usually, Nandu and she, have same schedules as they are in the same department but the lazy girl she is, has skipped some practicals and now she's compensating it.

Wearing a white tank top,baby pink long skirt and same color stole around her neck,the pink hangings paired with a thin chain and bracelets around her wrist,made her look colorful.

She is so busy mimicking her professor when somebody tugged her back and within a sec she felt a hard slap on her pink cheek followed by a loud shriek, "Karan".

Everything around has gone silent & still.

For some seconds,she didn't understand what happened.

She turns only to get shocked to see a pair of eyes glaring at her with fury.

At that very second,she felt the stinging pain on her cheek and unknowingly she places her hand on it.

Did he slap her?

There's a pin drop silence for few minutes.

Without any remorse, Adhvim speaks up ignoring Zayd who called on him for his act,"Everything has a limit and you crossed it today."

He clearly directs his words for her who's looking at him in shock.

Zayd who didn't like what he did raises his voice coming before him, "What are you doing Adhvik?"

His friend looks at him ferociously, "She called me and told Nandu got assaulted."

Zayd widen his eyes while Adhvik continues glaring at Teja," In her words, she was raped"

Zayd takes a step back hearing this. It's horrific to even utter that word and to imagine......No freaking way!

If he feels like this, what might be Adhvik going through?

No wonder he is furious but why would Teja do such a thing?

Zayd asks her though he's a bit angry but he controls better than Adhvik, "Kyun bola aisa?"

Teja knew it's not at all a good idea but she also knew she didn't have a choice. When Zayd asked her, don't know why she couldn't utter a thing. Maybe because she saw how they might have actually felt at that thought.

Adhvik couldn't control himself seeing her silence. It's like he is walking on the burning coal.

He, at once lunges at her, making her stagger,she looks at him with widened eyes, "Speak up! Why the hell did you do that?"

He is gritting his teeth, his eyes are red and his hold is so hard.

She gulps but she has done what she has done with only good intention and she shouldn't get feared now.

Closing her eyes once, she gets back to her stance and speaks looking directly into his eyes,"Did you talk with her?"

Adhvik frowns at her question but he felt she is diverting.

"Kyun? Thum galthi karogi aur wo cover karegi.Do you even know how terrible to even hear that? It was distraughting. Tell me why did you do that?", he demands in a low voice tightening his fist for every word.

Teja looks at him with determined eyes and voice,"Pehle wo karo jiskeliye aap yaha aaye ho.Talk to her." She jerks herself from him,

"And mein jo bhi kiya uske liye kiya...just for her."

Turning back, she walks away without word about the slap leaving the two men fazed.

Zayd deduced all this thing has something to do with Nandu so tells his friend, "We need to meet her Adhvik."

Adhvik is not at all ok with how she turned herself but his friend's suggestion made sense to him.Keeping aside his anger, they get ready to meet her.

Nandu is walking towards her dormitory with a gloomy face when she hears a," Hey... Cadbury!"

She halts.

Did she hear right? Is she imagining?

When she again hears, "Cadbury!"

She immediately turns back to see him seeing her with a smile.A lovely and longing smile.

She still didn't believe but when he hugged her, she then believed it's real.

"Bhai?"

He's here!

Her brother is here!

Tears escape from her pretty eyes and she hugs him back,"Bhai"

This is one hell of a surprise for Nandini. How she wished a lot a times that one day he would somehow show up before her surprising her to the core.

Hug her, chat with her, buy her all the things just like few years back.

These few years made her realise that her big brother has grown up to be a young and dynamic man the globe welcomed while she remained the same little sister.

"Times have changed", she always thought.

But she didn't knew his love for her never changed.

Adhvik hugged her to his heart and covered her in his fatherly embrace.

"I ....I can't believe you are here...for me!", she expresses her disbelief and surprise.

"Anything for you", he assures again breaking all her indifferences.

A huge smile steals her lips as she felt the wind taking away all her insecurities as she hugs him warmly.

Her smile increases when she heard,"All hugs for only Karan?"

Nandu shrieks, "Zayd bhaaai!" hugging him.

That's a beautiful moment & Karan looks at them with a light smile on his face.

He missed this!

Nandu comes out of the hug and she seemed so happy, "I can't believe you both came to see me.Kaise ho app?"

"Mein tho bahut kush hu aur yeh bhi kush Hein mere saath jo hein", Zayd chirps.

"Thum batha. Thum kaise ho?", Karan asks warmly taking her in his hold.

"Aap donoko dekhne ke mein bahot bahot bahot bahot kush hu", she jumps excitedly while the two men chuckle, "Mujhe tho laga aap bhul gaye ho lekin nai. Aap nai bhule the"

And that caught their tongue.

Forget? But what?

Both the men give a clueless look to eachother thinking what are they missing? 

Zayd tries to enquire subtly, "Ofcourse ham kuch nai bhulthe. We have the memory of an Einstein.But kya nai bhulna hein?"

Nandu didn't understand what he said but frowns,"Matlab aap Rakhi bandhwane keliye nai aaye ho?"

Adhvik and Zayd then gets that today is Rakshabandhan.

Adhvik grits his teeth for slipping on that but seeing her frowning,he decides to lie.

"Mein kaise bhul saktha hu Cadbury. Isiliye tho aaya hu mein aur isko bhi le aaya.Tujhe  tho ham dono ko Rakhi bandhne ka aadath heina?"

And her smile returns instantly.

"Mujhe laga aap dono nai aaoge fir bhi meine rakhi kharid liya. Socha tha jab milungi tab bandhlungi par Thank God you remembered", she says it so happily that the two of them feel guilty.

"Chalo.Let's go to the farm house.",she adds hopping to their car.

Ben takes them to their farm house which is on the top of the hill.

It's a beautiful white hut house with a big green front yard and a fountain in the middle.

It was constructed for Nandu to stay there but she wished to stay in the college dormitory with friends so it's used occassionally by her family.

Entering inside, they freshen up a bit and by the time Ben arranges everything for Rakhi Puja.

She performs the puja and ties Rakhi to both her brothers. They hug her and bless her whole heartedly.

"Mera gift?", she asks Zayd with a puppy face cornering him.

They didn't even knew today is Rakhi how would they get her presents.

A bulb lightens in his mind and he quickly runs away excuses himself.

Karan and Nandu chortles at his jog. Nandu deliberately cornered him as she already knew he didn't bought her gifts.

They both sit on the Red lounge languidly when Karan looks at his sister laughing without any care.

This moment made him realize how much he missed his sister. Her laugh. Her antics.Her complaints.

He became so immersed in work that he forgot what he's actually missing on.

Cupping her face, he asks looking at her happy face, "What my little sister wants?"

Nandu without a beat wishes,"You"

Karan lightly frowns while she hugs him aside,"I miss you Bhai.A lot"

Karan smilingly embraces her,"I missed you too Cadbury!"

He hugs her securely, giving her the support that he is there for her when all of a sudden he feels her sobs.Karan is surprised at first and comes out of the hug.He thinks her tears are due to her love for him but one look at her face he understood that she is bothered by something else.

His sister is crying because of something and he didn't know that.

"What happened?"

With her teary eyes, she looks at him. It's not her brother asking but her shield from the world.

No matter what her brother would never leave her.

"I don't want to get married bhai.", and she confesses her root cause of worry since an year.

Karan is taken aback at her disclosure which feared her.Sensing it, he comforts her by soothing her arm letting her to continue what she has to say,

"I am in 3rd year of college bhai.I still have to complete 1 year of graduation and I want to do masters after.Mein kuch banna chahthi hu bhai.M....mein Nandana Dehwaar nai Nandana banna chahthi hu.Lekin agar mein yeh shaadi karungi tho mein kuch nai kar paungi...kuch nai.", she cries.

"But Nandu thum shaadi ke baad bhi studies continue kar sakthi ho.Dadi ne decide karliya matlab ladka bahot acha hi hoga.Give it a chance beta!", he says soothingly without hurting her.

He is very confused by her words.Karan deciphers that this can't be a reason for rejecting such a nice proposal.

"He is a Prince bhai. Aur shaadi ke baad wo chahthe hein ki mein studies drop karu kyunki unko nai lagtha ki unki bahu ko kaam karne ki zarurat padegi aur Royal hone ke kaaran mein kuch protocols follow karna hein."

"Aapko pata hein usne kya kaha mein payal nai pehen sakti kyunki unke hisaab se payal pehenekeliye ham janwar thodi hein. Mein apni man ki pasand huye kapde nai pehen sakthi kyunki mein Royal honewali hu.Mein apni friends se baath nai karsakthe kyunki wo prince ya princess nai hein.Mein aapko bhi milne keliye uski ma se permission Leni padthi hein Bhai"

Adhvik didn't knew what to say except to listen her,

"Mein meri zindagi ko aise nai jeena chahthi hu bhai.Rules, protocols aur problems ke saath.I want to live my life happily freely with all of you by my side at every step.Aap ne pucha tha ki kya chahiye mujhe...mujhe meri zindagi chahiye bhai.Give it to me please.Dadi ko sirf aap hi mana sakthe ho.Unhe boldo ki mujhe nai karni hein shaadi.....nai chahiye yeh Royal tag I just want to be with all of you.I don't want to go away from you."

She cries holding him tightly while his heart clenches seeing her.

His sister is going through pain and he didn't knew any of this. What the hell is he doing?

No way he wants her to live such a life. He wants her to be happy every time....every single second.

Though she is far from him he arranged everything which she needed even without her saying but now...she is crying very badly and it's his sole mistake today.He should have spoken to her, get to know her but his busy schedules didn't give him the time.

Maybe he thought as his the elders decided, it must have been a good match.He shouldn't interfere in those things.

How wrong he can be!

Karan brings her out of hug,wipes away the tears in a way wiping away her worries too.

"Shhhh...rona bandh karo.Aise pretty face pe rona bilkul achi nai lagthi. Come on stop crying."

She gets relaxed at his touch and voice. It's like she didn't need to worry at all now. Her brother is here just like everytime.

She smiles sniffing while Karan lightly smiles but he's feeling the completely opposite. He's sad, angry.

When she's calm, he holds her hand and looks at her face,

"Nandu you know that your happiness is  most important for me anytime.This time too."

He takes a breath before continuing,

"I am sorry Nandu.Mein yeh sab nai hona chahiye tha.Mein thujse baath karna chahiye tha but I.. couldn't do it and I regret that..."

"Bhai...."Nandu interrupts but Karan quietens her.

"Let me complete...bachpan se thu meri farz nai meri garv ho.Mein thumhe kabhi ma se kam nai dekha.You are the light in our home and in our lives.Ham apni light ko kisi aur ke ghar mein kaise bhejna chahenge par bhejna tho tha.Mujhe laga dadi jo bhi faisla legi achi hi legi Teri bhalayi hi hogi isiliye meine baath nai kiya thujse.Which I realised is my mistake."

He lowers his eyes feeling disappointed and angry with himself but raises his head again and looks at her with a promise,

"Iss rakshabandhan pe mein wada kartha hu...Teri Kushi se zyada kuch nai.Dadi se mein baath karunga unhe se hi nai jo karna hein sab kuch karunga.Teri muskurahat ko lauta dunga.It's a promise."

Holding her hand, he promises her and himself.

Nandu gets emotional and happy. The last 12 months has felt so helpless. She couldn't go to anybody in the house and couldn't share her concerns to anyone. She felt lonely.

But not anymore.

Because her brother is right beside her.

Her mountain sized problem felt like a pea.

She smiles widely with tears in her eyes and hugs him saying loudly,"My brother is my hero"

The brother sister duo is living the moment when they hear,

"Aur mein?", Zayd pipes in carrying some bags.

They come out of the hug smiling relieved oh their hearts.

"As usually...." Nandu begins while Karan finishes the sentence, "the worst!"

They chortle as Zayd gets annoyed, "ha ha....tereliye Cadbury laya hu.thu aise hi bako saare Cadbury mein hi khalunga."

Nandu widen her eyes and starts buttering Zayd while he shows attitude.

They are bickering when Karan sees Nandu pleading Zayd,

Adhvik (mind): Anything for you Nandu... anything!
