Previously on Chapter 23

I start laughing. They are really funny. They often to have food fights like this. But this is the funniest I've ever seen. They always fight, but they're always there for each other to help.

Y/N P.O.V

We agreed to help Kurapika revenge on the Phantom Troupe. Killua makes me stick with him, so he could make sure that I'm okay.

Being wish the Zoldyck for a while, I start to have the habit just like an assassin. So I can easily hide my presence and move around without a sound, just like Killua.

We're currently following a guy with a long hair and a girl with pink hair. Gon is on the other side of the building, communicating with us through phone. Well Killua did, not me. I just watch the pair in silent. "Gon... Once they notice us... We make a run for it" Killua said.

The guy with long hair is talking on his phone. I watch silently as I try to make out what he's saying. Then suddenly he glance at our direction. Killua hurriedly grab my hand and we make a run for it. But there's a guy standing in the door way. 'Shit... This is bad' I thought. Killua start jumping around in rapid speed, but the guy grab his ankle with ease. I try to step forward to help, but I feel a cold metal being held close to my neck making me froze in spot. "Let her go!" Killua yells. The guy with samurai just stare at him. Then he knocks me out.

Time-skip

I open my eyes and realise I'm tied against the wall. I look around me to see Killua and Gon standing in the middle. There's a group of people around them.

"Hey guys... The girl is awake" the same girl we saw with the guy say. Then a guy wearing black cloak that covers his face walks towards me. He grabs me by my collar and pull me up, until my feet is dangling under me. "My... Aren't you a cute one" he said, observing me.

"Let her go!" Killua yelled, trying to move towards me. "don't move!" A guy behind him said, placing a card close to his neck. My eyes widened as I recognise who the person is "H-Hisoka" I stutter. "Hm? You know this girl" the other asks. The guy holding me turns to look at Killua who looks scared that something might happen to me, then he turn to look back at me. He continue to stare at me with his cold eyes. I can almost hear the smirk in his voice "I get it now... The two of you are together. How shame... I've kinda took a liking to you" he said, leaning closer. I turn my head side ways, clearly against him.

"Why don't you just leave the boy and be with me instead?" He said. "I would rather die" I spat, glaring at him. He looks surprise, then his face turns into an angry one. He raise his fist, was about to punch me. But someone stops his hand.

"Feitan! Let the girl go" the guy that held Killua by his feet earlier said, holding Feitan's hand. "Why should I listen to you?" Feitan said. "Just let her go, dammit!" He yells.

Feitan lets me go. I fall on my knees as my whole body tremble in fear. "We should keep them... I want us to recruit them... They might be a good use for us" a guy with Samurai said. "I'm not gonna look after them... If you want them so much, look after them yourself" Feitan said.

He takes us to a room. Killua instantly hug me close to him. "Are you okay, baby?" He asks, pulling away and starts inspecting me for any type of injuries. I just nod my head.

I try to calm myself. Killua pulls me back in his arms. "Shh... It's okay... I'll get us out of here" Killua whispers in my ear. I just nod my head, feeling a lot calmer now.

We take a seat next to each other. Killua sit next to me, keeping me in his arms. We stayed silent for a while, until I decide to break it. "You want us in this group, right?" I asks. Killua turns to me in shock. He didn't expect me to actually starts talking. The guy looks up at me "yeah..." He said. I gulp "might as well introduce yourself. How are we suppose to work together, if we don't even know each other" I said. He seems to think about it, then he nod his head "Very well..." He said. Then he leans forward and look at us intently "my name is Nobunaga... What about you?" he said and ask. "I'm Y/N...." I said. "Why are you talking to him?" Killua said to me. "We want to stay on his good side, Killua... It's okay" I say. He just nod is head in respond "okay... but if he tries to do something to you... I won't stay still" he said, tightening his grip around me.

We sit in another silent. Then I feel a strong blood lust next to me. I turn my head to Killua. "Killua?" I call out. But he didn't respond as his eyes is down cast. Then suddenly he got up "You're wrong?!" He yelled. I jump in shock. Killua took shaky step forward. Nobunaga gets up and place his hand on his samurai handle.

Killua continue to shakily step forward. I get up as well. I walk towards him, grabbing his hand. "Killua... Don't! Please...." I plead. He stops and walks back, sitting back down. I went over and sit next to him. He wrap his arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him "I'm sorry... I didn't scare you, did I?" He asks. I shook my head "I'm not scared of you.... I'm scared for you. I don't want you get yourself hurt" I murmured, leaning my head on his shoulder. He caress my head slowly.
