 Natsu Dragneel's POV 

3 years have passed. Lucy became really ill. She got a very rare disease that the doctors and specialists doesn't know how to cure it even its name. We asked the doctors who are expert in magic diseases but we got nothing but sympathy from them. Luce is bedridden and can't move. Her hair changed to color white and she's really weak. Nashi and Raven left to prepare foods for us.

"Natsu..." Lucy called me.

"What is it, Luce?" I asked, holding her hand.

"Natsu, I'm going to die now." Lucy said. I touched her cheeck and placed my forehead on hers with tears running down my face.

"No. Don't tell it, Luce. You'll still live as long as I live. You can't die." I said, crying.

"You know what, Natsu. I'm really happy that we met. You're the first one to make me feel that I'm someone precious and special. You gave me the reason to live my life to the fullest. You saved me countless times. I owe you big time. You never left me alone in my dark and happy times. Eventhough you ignored me when Lisanna came back, I never stopped loving you. I love you, Natsu." Lucy said while coughing.

"No, don't Lucy. I'm begging you. Please." I begged.

"You're also the one who makes me laugh. I don't know how can I pay you all of the favors and deeds you've done to me. I know that sometimes I'm annoying and a weirdo and sorry for that. Sorry for all the things I've done wrong. Natsu, please take care of Nashi. Please tell her I love her so much and tell her to pass the Mimic Magic to every generation. Please don't forget me. You're now free, Natsu. You can be with someone else that will make you happy. I will always watch over you from above." Lucy continued.

"Lucy, don't die. Please. Don't tell those. You're not going to die. No." I panicked.

"No, Natsu. I'll be always be there by your side. I'll wait for you even if eternity ends. I'll never stop loving you and watching you. Please be happy. I love you and I will always will. Goodbye, my love." Lucy bid goodbye before going to infinite slumber.

"Lucy! No! Don't die! I still live! Luce! Don't leave me. Please! I'm begging you! Wake up! Luce!" I placed her in my arms.

Her face turned back to normal and then turned pale. I shouted her name really loud while crying. My voice screeched and echoed but I don't give a damn stupid care. All I want is to grant my wish to bring her back. I hugged her tightly and profusely cried. I never stopped forcing her to wake up. I heard Nashi and Raven running to where we are. Nashi knelt down when she saw us. She ran to us and hugged Lucy.

"Mommy! Please don't leave me alone. You promised me to attend my wedding. You said that you'll always be by my side. You promised to attend my moving up party to be S-class. Mom, why?" Nashi asked, crying out loud.

"I'm so sorry, dear. Luce already went somewhere and she will be happy. Your mommy will never leave us alone. She'll forever loves you, Nashi." I comforted Nashi. Raven hugged her.

"But, daddy... She promised." Nashi said.

"Uncle is right. She'll never get tired of loving you. Don't cry, baby. Uncle Natsu and I will be always here for you no matter what." Raven butt in.

"Raven..." Nashi called. The two hugged each other. I hugged her once again.

I carried Luce and brought her to the guild. I ran as fast as I can. I bursted the guilddoors and asked where is Wendy. Wendy ran to us and cried. Many were shocked and some are crying.

"Wendy, please bring her back. I'm begging you to revive Lucy." I pleaded.

"I'm so sorry, Natsu-san. I can't revive Lucy-san. My reviving magic can oly revive two persons and I did. I'm very sorry." Wendy apologized.

"No, you still can. I know you can bring her to life again. Please, Wendy. I can't live without her." I forced.

"Natsu-san, I can do nothing. I can't revive her anymore. I'm so sorry." Wendy said.

After a week, Lucy's funeral is today. Many guildmemebers gave sympathy to my loss. Her closest friends cried, especially Levy and Erza. I shed tears for a few days but those aren't enough to bring her back in my arms. Tears can't change what happen. It can't grant your wants and desires but can make you express your emotions. I didn't eat for days. All I want is to be with her. I can die now and be with her but I promised to take care of Nashi. I saw Mira and Laxus going to me.

"I'm so sorry for your loss Natsu. I know how hard it is to lost someone else. I can understand how you feel." Mirajane sympathized.

"Condolences, Natsu." Laxus said.

"Thank you." I thanked them. The funeral ceremony finally began.

"As we remember our fellow friend, we may have a moment of silence to reminisce all the moments and memories we had with our guildmember, Lucy Heartfilia-Dragneel. May I call on Lucy's closest friends, Nashi Irish Dragneel and her husband, Natsu Dragneel. May we listen to them to give their last massage to Lucy." Mirajane began.

Every closest friend of Lucy said their message to Luce. After their talking, Nashi went up the stage to give her message. She cried when she started her speech. To end her message she sang a song to her beloved mother. I never knew she could sing. After that, I went up to the stage to say my message.

"Lucy Heartfilia-Dragneel is the only girl I loved the way that I could give my all to her. She was the one who gave light to my world and the one who made me happy. She was the only girl who loved me the way I did. She is my bestfriend and partner but eventually, I fell in love with her. I was too dumb back then to not realized her love for me. I was the cause for all that happened. If I wasn't dense, Lucy should be still alive and with us at the moment. It really hurts to see how the one who love the most die. I felt too much pain and sorrow when for the second time, I lost her. All I want is to be with you and will never lose. I thank her for all she has done to me. She changed the way I see life. She brought light and bliss to everyone. Luce, thank you. I'm sorry for all the things I've done wrong. I'll never replace you in my heart. I'll never forget you. I'll be there with you. I will forever love you. This will not be goodbye but see you again. I love you, Luce." I said, crying.

We lit up the lanterns and make them fly up to the sky. We watched them as they fly above the sky. We remember all the moments we had. Goodbye, Luce. She may be dead but she'll forver be alive and live in my heart.
