 Lucy Heartfilia's POV 

A week had passed since I revealed the truth. I went on a job request. I let Natsu bond with Nashi. I do want to give him a chance to get along with Nashi knowing that she is his daughter. I know that I became so selfish that I reached to the point that I can do something bad just to make Nashi avoid and ignore him. I can't change what had already happened. I can't stop something what God has planned for each and everyone of us. I hope that good happenings and blessings will still be continuous on showering in each of us.

 Natsu Dragneel's POV 

Lucy left Nashi for me to bond with her and take care of her. She went on a job request to supply their needs. I suggested to accompany her but she insisted to go alone. So, I decided to take Nashi for a walk in Magnolia. Gray came along with us, dragging his family.

"Flamebrain, where the heck are we going to?" Gray asked.

"I don't know, Ice princess. Maybe at the park where we could bond with our own family." I answered.

"Daddy, why are you calling out names? Mommy taught me it's bad." Nashi said.

"We got used to it so we call each other like that. Just don't imitate us and don't do it to other people, understood?" I asked.

"Yes, daddy." Nashi smiled.

"You're telling your daughter not to do it but you're doing it and giving her the chance to imitate you. Poor little kid." Gray pitied Nashi, starting a fight.

"Look at yourself, Ice princess. You're stripping your clothes in front of your offsprings and you too are giving them the chance to imitate you. I symphatize your kids." I pitied his children, backfiring.

"Do want a fight, stupid?" Gray asked, in a battle stance.

"Bring it on, dumbass!" I challenged, imitating him but not the stripping. We were about to fight in public but Juvia and the kids stopped us before we could create a scandal.

"Would you two stop? Your children are watching you two fight. Do you want them to imitate you? Gray-sama, you're making Juvia stressed out." Juvia said. Nashi took my arm away from Gray.

"Sorry, Juvia. We can just continue our walk." Gray apologized.

 Normal POV 

They went to the park and sat on the grass. They let the kids to play first. Gray and Juvia left to buy their food. Natsu was left there alone, watching the kids play, as he's reminiscing his childhood memories. After a few minutes before Gray and Juvia arrive, Lucy went to the park secretly. She watched them. She saw Natsu smile for no reason. When she saw Gray and Juvia were arriving, she quickly hid behind the tree. She watched them eat. She felt that a smile was formed on her face. She quicly removed it, maintaing her neutral face. After they ate, Lucy's legs moved on its own and went to them.

"Oh, Luce you're here. Have you eaten?" Natsu asked.

"Yes, I did." Lucy answered.

"Mommy, how was the job? Was it hard?" Nashi asked, hugging Lucy.

"No, it wasn't hard. Ne Natsu, how was your bond with Nashi? Did you know her even more?" Lucy asked.

"Yes, Luce. Gray, Juvia and their kids came along with us. We decided to be with them. The more the merrier." Natsu answered.

"Okay. I just want to know what happened today." Lucy said.

"Oh... By the way, you went back early. Is the job request really easy for you that you finished your job request in a real quick?" Natsu asked.

"Partly yes. I finished it because I am just feeling scared that something bad might happen to her. I'm not used that other people take care of her. I exert all my effort and quickly went home. So, that's why I was fast." Lucy answered.

"I thought that her words would be gotten from a really deep hole here." Natsu murmered under his breath that he could only hear.

"Did you say something?" Lucy asked.

"Nope, I did not." Natsu lied.

"Are you sure of that, Natsu? If not, I would definitely beat you to a pulp." Lucy threatened and glared deadly at him, looking like Erza but scarier than her.

"Okay, I admit. I thought that you're going to get your words in a really deep place." Natsu admitted.

"Why did you say so?" Lucy asked, sitting with him.

"It's because you know... I... When I usually talk to you, you talk like you have gotten so many experiences in life to the point that you apply in your daily conversation." Natsu answered.

"I was just giving you quotes that you can learn something from it. It's also because I'm a mother. I talk to Nashi like that. I think she got it from me. She lecture me sometimes if I do not do what I teach. She always tell me to 'Practice what you teach, mom.' That's why I like in my daughter. Anyway, I can talk without quotes, you know. I'm also a human. I can speak whatever I want to speak because we, people, have the free will. But, we should use it wisely and not abuse it. Oops, sorry." Lucy said.

"Nice speech you got there, Luce. It's one if the reasons why I love you." Natsu said.

This made Lucy angry. Natsu ran for his life while Lucy is chasing him. They don't know that Gray, Juvia, Ria, Raven and Nashi are watching them with smiles on their faces. They called them to eat and they responded by going to them. They first recited the prayer and munched their food.

"Thanks for the treat, Gray and Juvia." Lucy thanked.

"You're welcome." Gray replied.

"Juvia says you're welcome too." Juvia replied too.

"Let's continue our walk." Natsu said.

They continued their walk. The two families bond with each other. They roamed around the park. They let the kids to play while they were talking about anything under the sun. After their walk, they went back to the guild.

 Lucy Heartfilia's POV 

"Oh... Here they are. They're back. So, how was your walk?" Erza asked.

"It was fun. I felt happiness from my friends again. I missed it." I answered.

I saw Natsu and Gray talking to our guildmembers. I smiled because of the fact that I'm back and they all know it. I miss this feeling that others still care about you and they consider you not just a friend as a family member. They make me feel that I'm being welcomed home whole-heartedly. It makes me feel loved by your friend that I missed when I left the guild. I can say that, I'm finally home with my friends and my family.
