 Natsu Dragneel's POV 

"My heart can't, Natsu. That's my problem. Even if you do anything, there will never be my love for you again. Let me live peacefully with my daughter. Please leave us alone. We'll just leave Fairy Tail for goodness sake. I'm sorry, Natsu." Lucy said, walking out.

My heart crushed into millions of pieces after hearing those words. I deserve to hear those words. It's just one of the punishments I deserve for doing the worst happennings in her life. It's uncomparable on what she experienced. I played over her life and left her behind. I was at fault for her death which she faked. Yeah, she's right. She's right that I have to realize that I love her after her death.

Now, I have to win her back to my loving arms. I don't want her to leave my side again. I already left her. I have to make her stay with me. The one I befriend, the one I played, the one I left, the one I broke, the one who hates me, and the one that I love the most, Lucy. I ran outside and follwed her. I hugged her from behind.

 Lucy Heartfilia's POV 

I walked out from my apartment, crying. I can't believe that he knew about me, the real me. I also can't accept his love after everything he had done to me. I was walking when I felt someone hugged me from behind. I knew that it was Natsu. More tears flowed on my face which creating a river in my tracks, creating a scene.

"Luce, please stay with me." Natsu said behind me.

"I can't, Natsu." I replied.

"I already saw you again, Luce. I don't want to lose you again." Natsu said.

"What will happen if I stay with you? Will my life will be the same as it used to be?" I asked.

"We can make a difference of what happened in the past. I would never hurt you again, Luce. I promise you that." Natsu promised. I let go of his hug and faced him.

"You know what, promises are meant to be broken. We create promises for us to break them and not fulfill them. You promised me that you'll be you bestfriend and the one who will always be at your side. What did you do? You broke it and left me alone, crying at the corner. You hurt me, Natsu. I told you that I can't stay with you." I said.

"But, some promises are meant to be fulfilled, Luce. Some promises are made for them to be done by the one who promised to the one they promised." Natsu replied.

"Your promise has a possibility of being fulfilled or not, Natsu. Can't you realize? I'm not in love with you anymore. It's already in the past, Natsu. I can't love you anymore. Just accept it." I said.

"I can fulfill my promise in the best way I can. People can change, Luce. I was an idiotic an dense boy and I changed into an independent and a responsible person. I promise." Natsu said.

"I can't love you anymore after all you did to me. You made my heart shattered into millions of shards. You made me afraid of falling in love again. You can't teach a person how to love, Natsu. I'm sorry." I said. But before I walk away, he stopped me.

"People can learn to love. You can't teach yourself to love but your heart and mind will do it for you. Love can be a choice or not. You can pick someone that will make you happy. You can't say that you can't love again. You can't stop your heart from loving someone else." Natsu replied.

"I'm afraid to love you. I'm afraid that you'll leave me and play with me. I'm afraid that you'll break my heart like what you did to me in the past. Just please let me leave me and my daughter alone." I said,

"She's my daughter too, Luce. I would never ever let you go with my daughter. I don't want her to live without her knowing that I'm her father. I don't want her to experience living and growing without her father at her side. Would you want that? Your child will grow with an incomplete family?" Natsu asked.

"No but I can stand raising her as a father and as mother. I can do anything for my daughter just only for her." I answered.

"Then do what's best for her, Luce. Stay with me and let me be Nashi's father. Let's start a new life, Luce. Please." Natsu pleaded.

"I don't want to be with you again, Natsu. Even if how many times you'll plead, I would just move away from you. You can't force me to be with you, Natsu." I said. He kissed me. I pulled away and slapped him.

"How dare you?! From what you did, you will never ever make me agree and stay with you." I shouted.

"Well then, I have no choice to do it by force. I'm sorry if that can hurt you physically." Natsu said.

He then carried me on his left arm making my tummy rest on his right shoulders. I'm struggling to let go while he's walking but his grip would be harder in every movement that I make.

Hey guys! Gomen'nasai for the late update. It has been last week since I updatated. This past few days, my 1st Quarted Long Test happened. We're still not finished because Typhoon Egay and Falcon. Classes were suspended yesterday until today. Tomorrow also because there would be some gathering that will happen for my school's teachers.
