Ember P.O.V

As I put my tank back on Mira speaks.¨You should tell Natsu about this, Makarov too. You shouldn't keep this a secret Ember. This is serious.¨ Mira touches my shoulder with a concerned look on her face.

¨I know... I just..." I sigh. ¨I don't want to hurt him... I worried him so much and now I'm home and I'm safe. He's happy." I look down ashamed because despite what I say, Natsu still stands at Lucy's door. I know because I can smell him, him and Happy. I point to the door and Wendy seems to understand and whispers to Mira who then opens the door. I am so glad I have my tank on. Natsu stares at me with a fearful look on his face.

¨Ember. They hurt you? Why did they hurt you? Who the hell do they think they are?¨ Natsu's voice quivers with anger and sadness. Happy starts to cry and curls up on my lap.

"Natsu.. I. Yes, they did hurt me. But Yukine protected me so don't get mad at him, okay"

Natsu nods slowly and sits on the floor. Lucy has a sad look in her eye. I wonder why, but I don't mention anything about it.

Lucy P.O.V.

Natsu looks like he's about to cry, it really pains me to see him like this. If I come home later and he's asleep on my bed I'll set Up a futon and sleep on that. I won't bother him this time about it. I just hate seeing him like this, and I don't know why. It's confusing.

"Natsu, we need to tell Master," Erza speaks up talking in a very formal matter. I nod in agreement.

"Yeah, he'll want to know about this." I agree, causing Natsu to look up at me as if he forgot that it was my house. I give him a confused look. "What? Did you forget that I was here?"

"Kinda," He shrugged. I give him a look and Ember laughs wiping a tear off her cheek.

"You two are close huh?" She smiles.

"They looooove each other." Happy has a creepy smile on his face.

"No, we don't.." Natsu looks away. Is he blushing? 

"Now, now. Don't tease them Happy." Mira plays along

"Mira!" I exclaim, embarrassed in front of Ember. I normally wouldn't be embarrassed about it but now I kinda want to impress her. 

Ember starts to laugh, quiet at first but then it gets louder and more light-hearted, more like Natsu's. "Natsu, I have one question," Ember asks between gasps of air from laughing so hard.

"What?" Natsu asks, beet red.

"When is the wedding?" Ember then loses it, bursting in laughter, which Natsu seems to enjoy seeing. I wish he'd smile like that for me at least once. I wish he would notice my feelings like everyone else can so clearly see. I look down and smile sadly at my pitiful self.

--Sorry this chapter is so short, but I wanted to publish at least something for you guys, fair warning for anyone NaLi shippers out there, I personally despise that ship with a passion, and NaLu, Gruvia, Jerza, GaLe, and RoWen will be used in this story. I love you Fairies!!--
