--Heya guys!! Sorry this is so late I just lost my inspiration and I got it back on Christmas. So I decided to get this story going again--

Natsu P.O.V.

I wake up to a face full of blonde hair and thin arms wrapped around my torso. I blow the hair out of my face and turn to my right to see a sleeping Lucy. Even in her sleep, she looks troubled. She's been acting strange ever since Lisanna came back. I know I haven't been spending a lot of time with Luce, most of my time is spent either training or walking around town with Lisanna. Lisanna is like a sister to me, and I really like Luce, I feel the need to protect her in every way I can but I don't know how. Whenever I see her in the guild she looks sad, with a far-off look in her eyes. I just wanna give her a hug and give her the present I got her. I got her a new key-holder for her keys 'cause hers is old and starting to fall apart.

I have to wait though. Gajeel, Wendy, and I agreed to give our "mates" their gifts together. Wendy is giving Romeo a friendship bracelet she made. 

Gajeel plans on giving Levy a rose gold heart locket with a fairy he found in a jewelry store last month.

All of the gifts have some sort of meaning to them. The matching friendship bracelets represent the bond Wendy has with Romeo. The locket has a fairy in the pattern, Levy is, and I quote "The most beautiful fairy I have ever laid my eyes upon," ~Gajeel Redfox 2018.  And the key-holder shows Luce that I pay attention. Luce couldn't buy it herself because all of her money is going towards her rent and food money, so I bought it for her. I just hope the message I am trying to send to her goes through. Luce mumbles in her sleep and I try to listen.

"Natsu... love... Natsu..." are the only words I can make out before she stirs and rubs her sleepy brown eyes. I stretch and Luce sits up and shivers.

 "You cold Luce? I can warm you up." I set my hand on fire, just a gentle flame nothing that can do damage.

"Thanks, Natsu... That's really warm." Luce places her hands near the flame and sighs. I look at Lucy's eyes and see sadness clouding her once bright brown, beautiful eyes.

I will make you happy again Luce. I swear it.
