Lion-O POV ~

I was tiredly walking down the halls after sitting for so long reading history books even writing notes, I wanted more than anything but to sleep but it was long walk to my room

So why not walk around more just so I can find something to entertain me continuing down the halls my ears twitch at the sound of woods colliding with each other very harshly it was a sound I was familiar with I began to walk faster to where it was coming from.

I made it outside where I would fight Tegra at any time I had but only to be surprised when I saw him being thrown across the hard concrete with his sword out of his grasp

" come on Tygra, I thought you can keep up with my hits!" A voice I heard was sarcastic but also soft sounding I walk out to see Tygra standing up giving the person who beat him a smile I glance to see a wolf or a cat standing proudly with the wooden sword in hand wearing a dress that had torns on the skirt she was something I never seen before but I couldn't look away.

The wolf cat look my way, being caught off guard I look away from her outta instinct " Hey Tygra do you know him?" I heard her spoke while I try to look back at her still feeling my body getting stiff not understanding why am I feeling like this

" oh that's Lion-O my little brother" Tygra spoke

" make sense he is short" I snap my head to her feeling hurt she insult me on my height

" well I-I uh..." my tongue get tied up and felt my pride being brought down even more

" sorry I was just messing with you" I heard her spoke while ruffling my hair I glance to get a look at her but instead I made eye contact , catching me off guard seeing they had a sweet almost loving smile .

" it's good to meet you Lion-O, I'll be living with you guys for a while probably " She spoke

I felt my body getting warm and my heart pounding faster, hearing blood pump in my ears

" y-you will?" 'Crap I stutter!' I slap my hand over my mouth to keep me from saying anything else humiliating

" haha what's wrong Lion-O cat got your tongue!" Tygra began mocking me I clench my fist in anger and embarrassment wanting to snap back at Tygra but I couldn't open my mouth.

*Smack *

"Ow, what the heck was that for?!" Tygra cried out rubbing the back of his head in pain

" it was for being an asshole which you clearly deserve " She said smirking down at him

"Umm excuse me?" I spoke out gaining her attention

" Yeah what is it shortie" She spoke I usually felt insulted but I guess
I'll let it slide for now

" are you the guest that Grune was bringing when he came back " I ask I knew Grune was coming back today but I wasn't able to leave my lesson .

" Yeah I am my name is (Y/N), say do you know how to use a sword Lion-O ?" She ask curiously

" Uh...yeah I do... I do! even better than Tygra!" I exclaimed to her ignoring the glares Tygra gave having no little effect on me

" Alright pick up a sword then let's see what you got little cub!" She said picking up the wooden sword throwing it towards my way barely catching it.

She stood on one side while I stood at the other going into a fighting stance,
Tygra standing in middle with his arm raise to signal the fight to start

"Began!" Tygra shouted raising his hand down

I ran at her swinging my sword to her right but she jump back missing 5he swing not noticing her spinning around her leg hitting the side of my rib knocking me down, I stood up as fast as I can gripping onto my sword when I saw her lift the sword up about to strike down on me .

I move out of the way before she hit me the sword colliding harshly on the concrete floor I raise my sword to hit her side but it was block by her tail

She grinned at me before her tail slap my sword away she then pointed her sword at my neck catching me off guard I glance up to her meeting her eyes the way her (e/c) shine with furry and determination I once again felt my cheeks flush when she pull a hand towards me, I grab her hand without hesitation she then pull me up my chest colliding with hers I was face to face with her seeing her smile .

I felt my alpha purring at her scent even her attention she was giving me
But it came to a end when Tygra grip the back of my neck tightly pulling me away from her

" looks like you worst then me little brother " Tygra mocking me , I push him with my elbow but he continued to laugh at me I then hear her small laugh but I only smile at her sound of pure joy .

" your highness, it's time to say goodbye to Grune and Panthro before they departure!" One of the maids yelled out to us

I began moving along with Tygra running past me before I took another step I sense a hint of sadness behind me taking a look I see (Y/N) head down losing the grip of the sword letting it hot the ground , I walk up to her to see what's wrong " Hey are okay..?" I ask she quickly lift her head back up a little surprised but quickly change to her smile " it's nothing let's say goodbye to Panthro and my father" she spoke walking pass me .

I almost wanted to grab her hand and bring her to a hug but I couldn't bring myself to do it thinking it was too soon then a another thought came up to mind

" wait Grune is you father?!" I yelled getting her attention she look back at me and smile before continuing on waking I flush at her sweet smile not noticing I was purring at her and following her like a lost kitten

Your POV

While I was walking with Tygra and Lion-O I haven't to feel like a dread of this uneasiness since I know I'll be saying goodbye to father and his long search for the book of omens, I was afraid to not see him for a long time since I know his journey will take forever cause the book of omens is nothing but a myth .

Finally making it to the throne room I felt tears coming up to my eyes quickly wiping it away I didn't want to look weak in my father's eye seeing how Tygra and Lion-O walk up to the king hugging him with smiles on their faces

I could felt my heart being pull at I wasn't use to having negative feelings because father feeling like that will only get in the way I began walking to father who was still talking to Panthro I walk up to him grabbing on to his leather pants gaining his attention .

Father look down smiling while picking me up " you doing good settling in little wolf "

father ask I nodded at his words still having a frown plaster on my face he then ruffle up my hair laughing at my pouted face " I promise when I come back I'll take you to find the perfect sword for you!" He spoke with enthusiasm

Which made me smile hugging him one last time before he go placing me on the ground Panthro then lean down to my height " make sure you keep a eye on those two they're known to make a lot of trouble " Panthro said snickering.

"HEY"

Hearing the two princes yelled out in anger causing me to laugh at response " I promise to look after them uncle Panthro " I told him smiling he stood up shaking the kings hand

" we promise to find the book of omens for you your majesty " Panthro spoke in determination

" and I'll be here waiting for you two to return I wish you good luck in your journey Panthro and Grune " the king spoke he then look at me for brief seconds looking back at my father
" and I promise to look after your daughter even making sure she is well"

" I hope you do your majesty, goodbye (Y/N) I promise I'll be back " my father said ruffling my hair for the last time before walking along with Panthro out of the throne room I watched as they left once fully out of my sight.

I felt a hand on my shoulder seeing the king smile down on me " how about you join me and my sons for dinner (Y/N)?"

Sensing he was telling the truth I smile at him " I would like that a lot your majesty" I said to him, we began walking to the dinning room

' this will be my home now I'll have to get used to being just like them but I'm still a wolf I won't be fully like them will I '
