Today I was going to spend the entire day with Nicole. Of course I'm going to bring Ja'Bree. I need to make sure they get along.

I woke up and Ja'Bree was watching Tv while eating a apple.

Me: Morning.

Ja'Bree: Good morning Lexi!

Me: Did you sleep good?

Ja'Bree: Yes.

Me: That's good.

Ja'Bree: What are we going to do today?

Me: We're going to the hospital to be with Nicole.

Ja'Bree: Okay.

I grabbed my phone and saw a message from Erik.

E-Dog🔐🔫 : We finna murk some niggas later .

NickyOwns🌹🙊 : Aight . What time ?

E-Dog🔐🔫 : 4:30 . Meeting at 2:00 . 2nd main.

NickyOwns🌹🙊 : Aight . Imma be there .

I locked my phone and turned to Ja'Bree.

Me: What you want for breakfast?

Ja'Bree: Pizza!

Me: Buddy you can't have pizza for breakfast.

Ja'Bree: Why!?

Me: You better calm your happy cheery go lucky ass down.

Ja'Bree: What does that mean?

I stopped and thought about it.

Me: I dunno actually. Nicole always says it.

Ja'Bree: We shall ask her.

Me: We shall.

The door bell rang and we got out of bed and took the elevator down stairs. I looked out the peep hole , having to stand on my tippy toes. I saw a Black Chevy Truck. I bent down infront of Ja'Bree.

Me: I need you to go hide behind the couch and stay away from the window.

He nodded and ran off. I grabbed my gun from the table and opened the door. It was this big black nigga with a duffle bag , a brown box and a paper.

Me: Who you?

Man: Lexi Martin?

Me: Depends on who wants to know.

Man: I'm Big Snake.

Yeah , he looks like a big ass snake.

Me: Aight. What you want.

He handed me the duffle bag first.

Big Snake: This is Ja'Bree's clothes. It should last about a week or two then you'll have to come get the rest from Brittany's house.

Me: Aight.

I took it and looked in the bag. It was full of clothes and a picture laid on top of Brittany and Ja'Bree. I closed it and slipped it on my back. He handed me folded papers.

Big Snake: Sign em.

I opened it and saw 3 papers. Paper 1 had said;

Hey Alexus !

I know your probably curious as to what these papers that you are about to read are. Well , they are adoption papers! I know , your probably thinking why adoption papers? Well cause , I'm signing my rights over to you and Nicole. I won't be seeing Ja'Bree anymore. To answer your question , I'm a prostitue and a stripper. I can't have my son growing up and seeing posters of his mom with barely any clothes on and his friends saying ew or let me hit that for a certain amount of money. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you about this. I'm only doing this for Ja'Bree. Please don't let him forget me.

Behind this letter is a letter for Nicole. Please make she reads it , it'll mean the world to me because she's my role model. Crazy? Yeah I know.

Well , here's where I say my goodbyes .

  Good bye Alexus. Tell Ja'Bree that I love him and I'll see him soon. I love you too Lexi , but as a friend , if you need some advice about Nicole or anything , you know my number.

Me: Aight. What else.

Big Snake: And this was already on your porch.

Me: Aight thanks.

I took the box from him.

Big Snake: Any questions?

Me: Yeah , who are you?

Big Snake: Big Pimp Daddy Snake.

He then walked off and got in the back of the truck. It sped off and I closed the door.

Ja'Bree: Was that mommy?

Me: No. No buddy.

Ja'Bree pouted.

Ja'Bree: Oh. Okay.

He smiled a sad smile and walked off. I put the other two papers down and lifted the box. It wasn't all that heavy. I listened to see if I heard ticking and I didn't. I slowly opened it and sighed in relief when it was just Nicole's shoes that she ordered from Shoe Dazzle or wherever she ordered her shoes from. I left them there and picked up the other papers. The middle one was the note that goes to Nicole and the bottom one was the adoption papers. She already signed and everything. All it was missing was mine and Nicole's signatures.

I grabbed my phone and face timed Brittany. She answered and I saw her eating a pizza.

Me: Your really signing your rights over?

Brittany: Of course. I have no choice. I want the best for Ja'Bree and I know with you two is the best.

Me: Well I gotta give you props , you are thinking of your son.

Brittany: I kinda changed my mind. Can I see him on Sunday's maybe?

Me: Of course.

Brittany: Thanks Lexi. Your the best.

I laughed and called Ja'Bree in here.

Me: Somebody wants to talk to you.

I have the phone to him and he started crying.

Ja'Bree: Mommy!

Me: Imma be getting dressed okay?

Ja'Bree: Okay.

I went back up to my room and entered my closet. I pulled out Black Sweatpants , A Black Long Sleeve , A Black Jean Jacket and Black Mid Air Force 1's without the strap. I laid it all on the bed and went in the bathroom. I cut on the water and stepped in.

I looked at my self in the mirror and grabbed my keys to the Midnight Blue 2016 Acura ILX. I went back downstairs after slipping on my SnapBack.

Ja'Bree: Okay. I love you too! Bye mama!

He disconnected the call.

Me: You ready?

Ja'Bree: Yes.

Me: Okay let's go.

We got in the car and I pulled off.

Ja'Bree: Mommy told me something.

Me: Well what did she tell you?

Ja'Bree: She told me to give most of my respect to Ms. Nicole because she deserves it and is a very nice lady.

Me: Well your mommy is correct.

Ja'Bree: Lexi?

Me: Yes?

Ja'Bree: How much do you love ms Nicole?

Me: You can't explain real love clearly.

Ja'Bree: Can you explain it clearly?

Me: Nope. Just know , I'd take a bullet for that girl.

Ja'Bree: Oh. Otay.

We got out and went inside.
