I woke up at 10:00. I sighed and got up. I looked at Ja'Bree at the other side of my bed.

Me: Hey baby.

Ja'Bree: Hi mommy!

Me: Guess what?

Ja'Bree put his hand over my mouth.

Ja'Bree: Breath stinky.

I laughed and nodded.

Me: Go take a bath , okay?

Ja'Bree: Otay mommy.

He walked off and I checked my phone. I had a text from my boss.

Slvm_Lord: Meet me at the spot at 12 on the dot. Don't be late or your getting punished.

Fvck.You: I can't. I'm dropping my son off. I can try to be there at 12:30.

Slvm_Lord: Aight . You got until 12:30 to meet me at the spot.

Fvck.You: Yes sir. Thank you.

I put my phone down and got in the shower.

I got out and went over to my closet. I pulled out Black Leggings , Red Long Sleeve and my Red Converses. I pulled it on and pulled my hair into a high ponytail. I grabbed my purse and phone and went downstairs. I saw my baby watching tv wearing some khakis , a blue polo shirt and his blue converses. He brushed his waves.

Me: Breath check.

He got up from watching SpongeBob and bounced over to me. I bent down and he blew in my face.

Me: Pass.

Ja'Bree: Do me!

I laughed and blew in his face. He faked coughed and covered his nose.

Ja'Bree: Fail.

I pretended to gasp and started tickling him.

Ja'Bree: Haha I'm sorry mommy!

Me: Are you sure?

Ja'Bree: Yes ma'am!

Me: Okay.

I stopped tickling him.

Me: You hungry?

Ja'Bree: Yes.

Me: What you got a taste for?

Ja'Bree: iHop!

Me: Okay. Let's go then.

Ja'Bree grabbed his iPod and bounced out the house. I followed behind him locking the door. We walked out to the car and got in.

Me: Buckled up?

Ja'Bree: Yes ma'am.

Me: Okay.

I started the engine and backed out of the space and got onto the road.

Ja'Bree: Mommy , when can I see Lexi again?

Me: You'll see her later today.

Ja'Bree: Yay! Will you be there too mommy?

Me: No I won't. Mommy has to work.

Ja'Bree: Will I see you later?

Me: You'll see me again soon , very soon honey.

Ja'Bree: But mommy days are to long.

Me: I know but you'll be there with Lexi. Don't you love her?

Ja'Bree: Well yes mommy but I wanna be with you too.

Me: Ja'Bree , mommy has to work.

Ja'Bree: Can I go!?

I would say yes , except I'm a prostitue. Yep , I sleep with people for money. That money helps me and my child so be it.

Me: No. Mommy's job doesn't allow kids.

Ja'Bree: But I'm gonna miss you mommy.

Me: Mommy's gonna miss you too , but I promise , I'll come back for you.

Ja'Bree: Really?

Me: Of course.

Ja'Bree: Okay mommy. I trust you.

I parked and we got out.

Me: Mommy trusts you too.

I grabbed his hand and we went inside.

Waitress: How many?

Me: 2.

Waitress: Okay.

She grabbed 2 menus and led us to a table. I saw Erik and Zariyah. We were sat diagonally from them.

Ja'Bree: Can I go say hi mommy!? Please?

Me: Yes , of course hun.

I watched as he got out the booth and climbed in the booth beside Erik and gave him a hug taking him by surprise but he hugged him back. They talked for a while then he hugged Zariyah and came back over to me. They looked back and waved and I waved back at them while smiling. A real smile , not a fake one either.

Waitress: Hi my name is Jenny and I'll be your waitress today , may I start you off with some drinks?

Ja'Bree: May I have a Lemonade?

Me: And a Sierra Mist for me.

Jenny: Okay , I'll return with your drinks.

She walked off

Ja'Bree: Mommy.

Me: Yeah?

Ja'Bree: You love me right?

Me: Of course. Why do you ask?

Ja'Bree: I was just asking.

We ate , I paid and we got back in the car. I drove to the mall. I parked and we got back out.

Ja'Bree: Mommy I can't wait to see Lexi.

Me: We're here a little early , so Lexi may not be here yet.

Ja'Bree: Okay mommy.

We walked inside and took the escalator to the 1st floor.

Me: Ja'Bree baby , tie your shoe.

We went to the side and he bent down to tie his shoe.

Me: Remember the bunny ears.

Ja'Bree: Oh right. I forgot mommy.

He tied his shoes and we went to the Starbucks area in the mall by Journey's. I saw Lexi sipping on a drink and tapping away on her phone.

Ja'Bree: Lexi!

He ran up to her she got down and picked him up and tickled his stomach while kissing his face making him laugh. I smiled and sat down beside her.

Me: Hey Lexi.

Lexi: Hey Brittany.

Me: How have you been.

Lexi: I've been feeling like hell.

Me: Mother Nature?

Lexi: No , I get the shot. It's Nicole.

Me: What's going on?

Lexi: Nothing.

Me: Obviously it is. You and Nicole are goals , y'all rarely argue and never really have problems. What's going on , Lexi.

Lexi: S-She um-

She took a breath before talking again.

Lexi: She got into a car wreck.

I put a hand over my mouth. Sure I don't like her cause she took Lexi from me , but that don't mean I don't want her alive , cause I do. I don't wish death upon anybody cause I don't want anyone to wish death upon me.

Me: I'm so sorry Lexi. How are you holding up?

Lexi: What does it look like?

Me: Not very good.

Lexi had her hair in a messy bun on top of her head , no SnapBack , she had on some Adidas sweatpants with Lime Green lines , a red shirt and two different color shoes.

Me: Yeah , your not matching , or wearing the same color shoes , or the same shoes for that matter.

Ja'Bree laughed which made Lexi smile and tickle him again.

Lexi: Oh you think that's funny huh?

Me: Well obviously dingbat.

She playfully glared and I laughed.

Lexi: Well what did you wanna talk about?

Me: It's about Ja'Bree.

Lexi: What about him?

Me: Can he stay with you for a few days.

Lexi: Why? Not that I'm saying no cause he's always welcome , but why?

Me: I have to work.

Lexi: Okay?

Me: I also have to pay things off and I have no one to watch Ja'Bree.

She coved Bree's ears.

Lexi: Are you a prostitute?

She uncovered his ears and I gave Ja'Bree a hug and kissed his head.

Me: Bye baby.

Bree: Bye mommy!

Lexi: Wait what about his clothes?

Me: I'll drop some by later.

Lexi: What about my question?

Me: Bye Lexi.

I walked off and out the mall. I didn't wanna answer the question because I'm ashamed. I have a 5 year old son whose mother is a prostitute. That's exactly why I'm giving him away to Lexi. I'm going to go to court and tell them I sign my rights over to Nicole and Lexi.
