( Lexi )

I was supposed to be home at 7:55 but I was held up at the trap. I grabbed my phone and dialed Nicole's number. It rang and she answered on the 4th ring.

Nicole: What.

Me: Are you still mad?

Nicole: Yes. Yes i am.

Me: But your supposed to be sleeping.

Nicole: Obviously not if I'm on the phone with you.

Me: And you still gotta attitude.

Nicole: Yeah , I do cause it's past 7:55 and you aren't here.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. Why does she gotta be so complicated?

Me: Bae , I won't be able to go with you guys to the club.

Nicole: Why?

Me: I'm held up at the trap.

Nicole: Why does everything gotta be about the trap?

Me: It's not.

Nicole: Whatever. I'll see you tomorrow I guess. Goodnight.

She hung up on me. I sighed. There was a knock on my office door.

Me: Come in.

My father came in.

Dad: Hey kiddo.

Me: Hey pops.

Dad: You looked stress.

Me: I am.

He sat down in a chair in front of my desk after closing the door.

Dad: Why.

Me: So much damn paper work , Nicole's mad at me , shit like that.

He sighed.

Dad: Well , paper works going to be around forever , but will Nicole?

Me: What do you mean?

Dad: You remember how your mom felt? When she thought I chose the trap over you two?

I softly laughed remembering that moment.

Me: Yeah , she would do my hair and cuss you out in Spanish.

Dad: Exactly. Maybe that's how Nicole feels.

Me: I mean she did say I always choose the trap over her.

Dad: Like I said Hun , paperwork will always be here , what about Nicole?

He picked up at picture of me and Nicole I had on my desk and sat it infront of me. He kissed my head and left out. I looked down at the picture and remembering when we took it. She was wearing one of those long dresses and almost tripped over the damn thing.

I grabbed my phone and called Ling. she answered on the 5th ring.

Ling: What.

Me: Damn. Everybody gotta attitude with me?

Ling: Only when you hurt my best friend.

Me: Did you two go to the club?

Ling: Yeah.

Me: Aight. Don't tell her but I'm on my way.

Ling: Aight.

I hung up and grabbed my keys. I walked out and to the main. I checked in on the workers and left out. I blasted Lil Durk all the way there. When I pulled up , I parked beside of Kiara's Ferrari. I got out and walked in instead of having to go through the line. Shit , Lexi's known everywhere.

I walked in and saw Erik and Carlos at the bar. I walked up.

Me: Wassup.

Erik: I see you made it.

Me: Yeah. My dad told me works forevers gonna be around but what about Nicole.

Carlos: True words man.

Me: Get me something strong , Imma need it after dealing with Nicole.

Erik: Aight.

I walked off and to the V.I.P section after making sure Nicole wasn't on the floor grinding on someone. I saw her sitting on the couch as everybody else was going to the floor. I walked past them and behind Nicole. I looked down at her.

Nicole: Whoever's behind me , leave me alone.

Me: I would , but I gotta go home with you.

She looked up and I walked around to infront of her. I crouched down and she smiled.

Nicole: I'm still mad at you.

Me: I'm sorry.

Nicole looked away from me.

Nicole: Is that all.

Me: Nah.

Nicole: Then continue.

I grabbed her hands.

Me: Works always gonna be there , will you?

Nicole: How will you treat me if I stay?

Me: I'll show you later , let's go.

Nicole: Where?

Me: To dance , duh.

They played Let Me Know by Tamar Braxton ft Future.

Nicole: Oh. Okay.

I stood up and led her down to the floor. She got infront of me , back to front and started grinding on me softly to the beat. I wrapped my arms around her and whispered the lyrics in her ear.

Me: Do you love the way I do when I'm loving your body?

Nicole: Let me know.

Pretty soon the song was over and Nicole turned to face me and grabbed my face and kissed me.

Nicole: I love you.

Me: I love you too.

Nicole: Let's get out of here. I'm hungry.

Me: You want me to cook or you wanna pick up fast food?

Nicole: How about we both cook.

Me: Sounds good. What you want?

We went back up towards the V.I.P section.

Nicole: Let's cook Pork Chop or Chicken.

Me: Chicken sounds good. We had Pork Chop last night.

Nicole: What's wrong with having it two days in a row?

Me: Nothing ha.

She laughed and wrapped her arm around my waist and put her face in my stomach since that's all she could reach even with heels.

Me: You aight?

Nicole: No , that's weed smell gets to me.

Me: Well here , go to the car and I'll grab your things and be there. Lock the doors.

I handed her the keys and she took them.

Nicole: Okay.

I kissed her and we parted ways. I went to where Erik was with Zariyah.

Me: Yall make up?

Zariyah: Yes.

She smiled and interlocked fingers with him.

Me: You to dating?

Erik: Not yet. Here's that drink.

Me: Thanks.

I downed it and handed Erik the glass.

Me: We leaving and going back to the house.

Zariyah: Oh and what are Yall gonna be doing?

Me: That's classified. Just know she may not be able to walk tomorrow.

I grabbed Nicole's clutch and jacket.

Erik: What about Ling Mae?

Me: If Carlos doesn't lay her and she decided to come back to my house , just let her in and tell her to beware.

Zariyah: Okay. Be safe on the road.

Me: You too.

I hugged Zariyah and dap Erik up. I left out and to the car. Nicole was leaning on it and talking on the phone. I went up to her and grabbed her waist.

Nicole: I gotta go mommy. I love you. Bye.

She locked her phone and looked up at me. I leaned down and kissed her softly.

Me: You ready?

Nicole: Yeah.

Me: Let's go then.

Nicole: Actually , I wanna drive.

Me: But I only drive this one.

I had my 2015 Red Infiniti Q50 and I just bought it like 3 days ago but yet a lot of her stuff was already in here.

Nicole: And I'm driving it today.

Me: Ugh , your so lucky.

Nicole: Yeah , I know that.

I slapped her ass hard making her squeal.

Nicole: Ow.

Me: Who did that?

I laughed and got in the car on the passenger side. She flicked me off and I honked the horn making her jump making me laugh harder. She got in the car and started punching me. I laughed and blocked her hits.

Me: We need to stop by Walmart.

Nicole: You see what I'm dressed in right?

Me: Yeah?

She had on a strapless dress that was tight and black at the top and leopard at the bottom starting from under the breast and some flats. Wait , I know she ain't wear no flats to a club.

Me: Bae , did you really wear flats to the club?

She laughed and pulled off.

Nicole: No fool. They were already in the car.

Me: Oh.

Nicole: Yeah but what about my dress? I don't wanna go in the store looking like a hoe or something.

Me: Okay for one , you don't look like a hoe and you never do , two just wipe off the make up and put on one of my jackets.

Nicole: Okay.

She parked in Food Lion parking lot.
