( Lexi )

I had dropped Nicky and Zariyah off at their house a bit early cause I had an important trap meeting. Jacob dropped  Yasmine off at her moms house since she wanted to see her mom , Erik dropped Taziyahs annoying ass 2 blocks from her house on the corner and Kiara dropped El off at their house after scooping Bella.

I was sitting in my chair at the end of the table , opposite from my dad.

Me: Okay. First off , I've noticed something.

Dad: What kind of something?

Me: I've beginning to notice things missing. Somebody has been taking money and drugs from us and I'm pretty sure it was one of our workers.

Erik: Imma take care of that. Y'all don't worry bout that.

Dad: Aight E-Dog. Now in other news , yall remember when I gave yall the file information on Daniels?

We all muttered a yeah.

Dad: Well , Kiara here has been watching him and found out that he has a co-worker that invited him to dinner tonight with her family. So we'll be watching that too. I want him by the night is over.

We all nodded.

Dad: Aight. Dismissed.

I was about to stand up when dad told me to sit back down. Everybody left and dad spoke.

Dad: Lexi , I'm sorry.

Me: Sorry? You've never apologized about anything before. Why are you sorry?

Dad: I'm sorry for insulting Nicole. I just thought she'd be like Nina.

Me: A lot of people thought the same thing dad , but I doubt Nicole would do me like Nina. You can tell their different by just looking at them.

Dad: It took me a while to notice that.

Me: So what are you saying dad?

I'm hoping he's gonna say he accepts Nicky.

Dad: I'm not saying I'm accepting her.

Well damn. Just crushed my hopes.

Dad: I'm saying I'm gonna give her a chance. She has to prove to me that she isn't anything like Nina before I accept you twos relationship.

Me: Okay so you mean like have a dinner with you.

Dad: Yes.

Me: Oh okay. When?

Dad: How about tonight?

Me: Nah , she's at a dinner with her mom.

Dad: Okay well check to see what's a good time for her and you then come to me.

Me: Aight pops. Anything else?

Dad: Nope.

Me: Aight then I'm out. Love ya.

Dad: Love you too.

I got up and walked out. I got in my car. It smelt like Nicky haha. I started the engine and pulled off listening to Drake.

( Nicky )

I looked in the mirror and smiled. I looked presentable. I grabbed my phone and went out my room. I got on the elevator and took it down. I walked off and into the kitchen. Zari was helping set the table.

Me: This is okay right?

Sierra took a glance at me.

Sierra: That's perfect. You both look beautiful.

Me: Thank you.

I smiled and helped put the plates on the table. The doorbell rang.

Me: I'll get it.

I smoothed out my dress and walked over to the door. I opened and saw a tall man in a suit. He was very tall. He looked around 6'3 or 6'5. Something along those lines. He looks oddly familiar.

Me: You must be Mr. Daniels. Come inside.

I opened the door wider for him. He entered the house.

Mr. Daniels: Lovely home.

Me: Thank you. You can sit on the couch and I'll go get my mother.

Mr. Daniels: Okay.

He sat down and I walked to the kitchen.

Me: Mom he's on the couch.

Mom: Okay.

She smoothed out her dress and walked out.

Zari: You phone had vibrated.

Me: Thanks.

I grabbed it and unlocked it. It was on the gallery for some odd reason. I had stopped when I saw the picture. Everything came back to me. He's the guy that Lexi's gang is looking for , and he's in my house. On my couch. In the living room. Talking to my mother. Alone.

I ran to the living room and stopped when I saw they were looking at me weirdly.

Mom: Nicole , what is your problem.

I looked at them.

Me: U-Um I-I have to um.

I did a fake cry.

Me: She broke up with me!

What? Don't judge me , it was a last minute reaction.

I ran out the front door and looked across the street. Their was a lot of cars there. The door opened again and Zariyah came out.

Zariyah: What's going on?

Me: That man in there , he's the guy Lexis gang is looking for.

Zariyah: Are you sure?

Me: 100 percent.

I called Lexi and got no answer. I called again and still got no answer. Fuck.

Zariyah: Let's just go across the street and fast before he does something.

We took off our heels and ran across the street. We banged on the door and Erik answered it about 20 seconds later.

Erik: Oh wassup yall.

Me: Is Lexi here?

Erik: Everybody is.

Me: Okay good this is a emergency and it needs to be solved fast.

I looked back at my house.

Erik: Okay come in.

We walked in and Erik led us to a huge room that had everybody in it talking about random things. There was a hella lot of people in here.

Erik: These girls has something to say.

He pointed at us it and became silent.

Zariyah: Yeah you got this right Nicky?

Me: Wimp.

Zariyah: Yo daddy.

Me: I agree but okay so yall know the nigga named Daniels or whatever that yall are looking for?

They nodded.

Me: Well he's across the street at our house.

Lexi: You kidding?

I got mad.

Me: If I was would I be here without shoes and in a dress around these niggas!?

They instantly started loading up guns. I walked out and back across the street. I noticed the lights off and a black van.

Me: What the hell happened.

Zariyah: In that short period of time.

Everybody came out from the house and we scooted to the side. They walked up the hill to my house.

Lexi: Who's the van?

Zariyah: It wasn't there a minute ago.

Erik: I think he's planning to kill your parents.

Me: Mommy!

I tried running up to the door but Lexi grabbed me before I could even turn the knob.

Lexi: Hey hey , your not gonna go in.

Me: What!? Our moms are in there with that sick fuck!

Lexi: I know that but I'm not gonna let you get hurt. I'm not taking that chance.

I looked at her and started crying.

Me: What if something happens to her.

Lexi: I can't promise you nothing will happen to her.

I cried harder and she pulled me into a hug.

Zariyah: I know a way you can get inside. Yall have to be really quiet or they'll hear you , no matter where you are in the house.

Dude: Okay show us.

Zariyah led them around the house. Lexi pulled back from the hug and grabbed my face. She wiped the stray tears with her thumb.

Me: Be careful okay?

She nodded and kissed me.

Lexi: I promise.

I kissed her again and she squeezed my ass. I walked with her to the back of the house. She opened a tiny door that had something that looked like a hall inside.

Me: Where does that lead to?

Zariyah: Your room.

Me: How? Mines on the top floor.

Zariyah: It has stairs.

Me: Oh. Okay. Don't go through my shit. Lexi.

I looked at her and she smiled flipping me off. I lightly laughed. They went inside. A few seconds later I got a text from Lexi.

Baee💕 : In case I don't make it out alive , just know I love you. 😘 Okay ?

I felt a tear come down my face as I read the words incase I don't make it out alive. I replied .

Hey.Nickyy😫😘 : I love you too . 😘

I slipped my phone away and we waited.
