Hicca's POV:

It's been a year since I left Berk and 6 months since Merida and her friends came. Toothless wasn't to keen on having other people near but they grew in him. The guys were currently building houses and us girls (me and Merida) were training. I look over and see Anna, Elsa and Punzie looking at the boys working. I just noticed they were shirtless. "How can you be that built?" Punzie asked not know Merida and I were listening. All 3 of them had 6 packs and muscle. They weren't all bad looking to be honest but they weren't really my type. I could tell who was staring at who. Elsa staring at Jack, Anna at Kristoph and Punzie at Flynn. "Yuck." Merida gagged. I turn to her. "What do you not have a plan to settle down?" I asked. "No i'm just not into those type of guys." Merida said blatantly. "I didn't know that." I said pulling out an arrow. Merida just chuckled. "There's a lot you don't know about me cousin."

Timeskip

It was night and everyone went over to the campfire to either eat or talk. "And then I fell in the water and came back up just nearly freezing to death." Jack said explaining a story about saving his sister. We all took turns to share stories but I never did tell a story. "Hicca it's your turn, no exception." Flynn said taking a bit out of his fish. I sigh and put my hands in my hair and ran my fingers through it. I need to either fix it or cut it since it's getting longer. "Fine what do you want to hear?" I asked. "How did you find and train Toothless?" Kristoph asked this time. I smiled. "Well it was a normal night or so I thought I had heard a random scream and I knew I was a dragon raid, i was always to one on mess everything up I couldn't swing a hammer or lift an axe, I was weak and useless. I was suppose to be in the forge but I decided to see if I could shoot down a dragon so I could show them I was a Viking, but like always I messed up and almost got kill." I said not nearly finishing the story. "I had left and found Toothless in a bola that I shot him in. I was gonna kill him but..." I stopped. "But what?" Elsa asked. "I couldn't kill him, I looked into his eyes and saw just like me he was scared so I cut him free. The next day I went to the cove and saw him trying to fly but he couldn't so all I could see was him in the cove. The next day I had gotten a fish and fed him, then like the stubborn dragon Toothless is..." I teased only to get a smack on my head by Toothless with his tail. "He was ignoring me so then I just drew what I saw in the dirt. Toothless came over and saw that I was drawing so he ran off and grabbed a branch and tried to draw me." I explained. Anna chuckled and asked. "Toothless drew you?" I smirked and answered. "Emphasis on tried, but then I got close to him and held my hand up to him and he pressed up against it. He trusted me and after that I knew that I couldn't kill him or any other dragon." I finished only to get claps for the gang. "Let's get some sleep guys tomorrow we are not working." Jack said standing up with pain in his voice. "Why?" I asked. "Because we've been making huts and were sore." He said picking up a cup of water he had. "We only have 2 huts set up so girls got one and the guys get the other." Flynn said walking in on of the huts. There's only 8 of us so they're gonna need a lot of help trying to build these huts. Maybe I should help them, next time. I thought as I went in the hut wondering, what would have happened if Hicca left.

Asher's POV:

It's been a year since Hicca was declared dead. Killed my a dragon. Not just any dragon. A Night Fury. If I had gotten there earlier I could have saved her but I couldn't. Ever since that day I've been training to kill that damn dragon. I'm not scared to say it, I liked Hicca but I pushed her away when my uncle died and I never did talk to her until dragon training, if I wasn't such an ass I could have told her how I felt and now I'll never get that chance again. Snotlout is making me want to punch him in the face, ever since Hicca left he's been so damn happy, he always talked her down but I can't do anything since he's the next heir and believe me when I say this when Snotlout becomes Chief we are so fucked. I was currently at home looking at the axe Hicca had made me when we were ten. I never did thank her for it and it's the only that I have of her left. Stoick never leaves and Gobber is having a hard time in the forge and everyone else is either sorry or happy she's gone. I look down at my wrist and see the bracelet I made that had a night fury scale on it as a reminder that I will kill that damn dragon.
