The pain and hatred inside Mina's heart is still there. It never went away.

She ended the call as soon as she said no to Hyorin and went to her room. She heaved a deep sigh, thinking of what her unnie told her. She wanted to laugh because of the unbelievable lie that she said. "Chance? Who would give a douche a chance?" She asked herself, smirking.

"Me." She turned her head when she saw Tiffany standing behind her. She's at the doorstep, smiling softly. "I would give a douche a chance."

"That's just stupid." Mina retorted.

"Yes, it may be stupid." Tiffany agreed. "But an angel can turn a devil good."

"What if we're both devils?" She asked.

"Then as long as both of you are happy being devils, that's good enough." Tiffany said and took a step near Mina. She smiled wider and placed her hand on her shoulder. "The world is full on chances, Mina."

"He doesn't deserve the chance." Mina said with her angry tone. "He never will."

"I think you should just give it some time," Tiffany patted her shoulder before leaving her. When her unnie closed the door, she sighed and leaned on her chair. Tiffany is the second person to tell Mina that she should give him some chance.

It's just been two months since she ran away, but two months felt slow for her. She's sure that there's still something ahead of her.

JIMIN'S POV

Mina is dead.

And my heart is, too.

"Hey, watch where you're going!" I crashed into someone while walking through the hallway. Her things fell and I don't know why I just stared at her while she's picking those up.

It was Dahyun.

"Wow, thanks for the help." She told me, rolling her eyes. She then went with Seulgi who is waiting for her behind me. "Move," she intentionally bumped into me, causing my things to fall, too. She glared at me and then continued walking.

Sighing, I took my things and walked. "Hey, you okay?" I saw Sana infront of me. "You seem lost."

"Give me a reason to live." I told her and held my chest, thumping it hard. She grabbed my wrist, stopping my fist from doing so.

She looked at me so pitiful, not knowing what should she say to me. "Mina's dead and I feel like I am, too." I told her with a weakened voice. "My heart is pained."

"There's me," Sana told me. "I'll help you recover. Don't worry." She took a step forward and hugged me.

Five months seemed fast.

In just two more months, I will be graduating.

In just two more years, I'll get to meet the lady that I was promised with.

I decided to move away with Sana. She promised to help me recover and when I did, I felt like she's the one.

She changed my world and she changed me.

When I was with Seulgi, I felt like everything is perfect. I feel like no one will ever come through between us, but bad things happen, so we broke up.

When I was with Mina, everything felt surreal. It all started with hate and a one night stand. And then, as time passes by, I did not notice that I'm falling for the lady whom I hated before. My heart fluttered most when I was with her. I was head over heels for her even though she won't feel the same for me. It was a one-sided love and she never accepted my feelings for her. But still, she's my greatest downfall.

And then, now that I'm with Sana, I am rest assured that we will last longer than I've been with Seulgi back then. We both learned from our past mistakes and we matured because of those errors. I am sure that we're both ready to be with each other now.

We're now living in the same flat. It's my unit and we both share the expenses though my parents don't know that. We're both going to school. After two months, I'll be able to graduate and say no to my parents regarding the marriage. I won't be able to leave Sana for someone whom I don't love.

As soon as I opened the door of my unit, a love song played out of the blue.

Can't take my eyes off you~

The lights are dim and I suddenly sensed a romantic aura within the room.

You'd be likr heaven to touch~

Oh, I wanna hold you so much~

Smiling, I made my way in and saw Sana, wearing a dress and looking dashing as ever. She's damn pretty. I chuckled when I saw her giggle. It made my heart tickle.

"What's with all of this?" I asked her and placed my bag aside.

"I don't know," She shrugged her shoulders and placed her hands around my neck. I held her waist and our foreheads touched. We danced to the romantic song as our heart beats perfectly with it.

"I need you, baby~" I sang along with the song. "And if it's quite alright,"

"I need you, baby, to warm my lonely nights," She said and opened her eyes widely, staring into me. "Do you love me?" She asked.

Smiling softly, I nodded and continued to dance along. I don't know why, but I feel so lucky for having her. My heart is at ease now that I'm with Sana.

I stole a kiss from her and that made her giggle. She slapped my nape softly, "Yah, don't go around kissing people like that."

"You'll only be the person whom I will kiss. Don't worry," I said with a fainted voice.

The sing finished and so did we. Our foreheads are still touching and we kept the same position. We uttered words of promises and dreams.

"I want two kids and two sons," I said.

She laughed, "Do you think it's that easy to give birth to a child?"

"Nope." We both shared laughs. "Darling," I stared at her and she didn't fail to amaze me with her honey eyes.

"Yes?"

"Will you be my date?" I asked.

Her eyebrow raised, "For what?"

"There's this graduation ball before the semester finishes and I want you to be my date."

"Alright. I'll be your date."

"Hi," Sana sat infront of the person that's been wanting to meet her again since then. "It's been quite a long time." He said.

Sana avoided his eyes and looked at the menu instead, "What do you want to have?" He put down the menu and raised her chin, so that they will meet gazes.

"I already ordered." Sighing, she took her hands from the menu and crossed her arms. "Long time no see."

"I know," she agreed.

"I heard that you're with someone else already." He said, bittersweet. "How is he? How are you two?"

"Nothing much," she shrugged her shoulders. "We're good."

"Do you think the two of you will last long?"

"What kind of question is that?" She retorted with her furrowed eyebrows.

"I just want you to realize that you're going to regret breaking up with me." He confidently told her which makes her want to barf. "Jimin? He's a softie. Once he knows that you have that little secret--"

"Shut up," Sana angrily told him. "He will never know that."

"Wench," he whispered and decided to stand up. "I'm running late. I wish for the best of luck with you and Jimin." He left her on that table as the waiter started serving their orders.

Meanwhile, Jimin just called Taemin to help him pick a suit for the ball. It's been some months as well since they last heard from each other.

"What's the ball for?" Taemin asked, browsing the suits.

"Graduation."

"You have that in school?" Taemin snickered and shook his head. "So, who's your date?"

"My girlfriend."

"Ah, your girlfriend--wait, what the fuck?" He instantly looked at Jimin who is busy checking out some slacks. "Are you okay?"

"What do you mean?" Jimin asked.

"A girlfriend? So, does that mean Mina--"

"Myoui." Their eyebrows crossed when they heard someone utter Mina's surname. "Please transfer the bill to Ms. Myoui's account. Thank you." The customer said and flee from the store.
