JIMIN'S POV

"Hyung," Minhyuk called me, so I walked towards him and asked him why. We just currently finished eating and Mina is in the comfort room. "Why did you bring her here? What's your purpose?"

I wanted to laugh because of Minhyuk. He probably doesn't like the fact that his ex-girlfriend is here with me. To be honest, I don't know that they're in a relationship before. I know that Minhyuk had a girlfriend, but I never met the girl. I never knew that it was Mina as well. It's such a small world.

"I brought her here for a job--"

"A job? She's working already?" He asked.

"Let me finish, stupid." I told him, so he just rolled his eyes at me and waited for my reasoning. "She stopped schooling, okay? She found a job before and that's where I met her. She lost her job and now, I'm doing my best to help her."

He laughed, "A job? Hyung, her family is wealthy as fuck. She doesn't need any work to provide for herself because she can always go to her parents." Damn, he doesn't get it, doesn't he? "Were you shocked?"

"No." I honestly answered. "I knew that."

"Then why is she looking for work? Can't she just--"

"She ran away from her parents." I cut him which made him change his expression. "She ran away because she will be married off to someone she doesn't know in the future."

"But you're in a relationship with her." He reasoned. Oof, I forgot that Mina introduced us as a couple earlier! "Nevermind." He turned his back on me and then I realized something, so I held his wrist which made him look back at me.

My eyebrows met, "Are you jealous?" He didn't speak for a while. Oh, my little brother is jealous of me and his ex-girlfriend. "I swear, Minhyuk. If you will ever do something that would make me--"

"I realized that I want to win her back." What the fuck? "She broke up with me because she reasoned out that she needs to marry someone, so I agreed--"

"No, no, no, no." My hand let go of his wrist. "You cheated." I said frankly. "And that's none of her fault." I told him which built some tension between us.

"Jimin," I turned my head because mom just called me. She's standing beside Mina and it looks like Mina is bored of what's happening. "Are you coming?" I smiled at my mom and nodded my head. "Then, let's get going." She turned her back on me and Minhyuk and went with Mina. I sighed and looked at Minhyuk.

"Please don't break us." I said and followed Mina and mom.

We were quiet inside the car. Most probably because I wasn't making any noise. I wasn't telling them any stories or what because I kept on thinking of what Minhyuk had told me.

I'm freaking out.

What if he wins Mina back? What if she still loves him? What if she will just forever hate on me? What if she won't love me? Ever?

I sighed and closed my eyes. "Son, are you okay?" I opened my eyes again and looked at my mom. Her hand is on mine and she's looking ahead.

"Yep, no need to worry, mom." I told her. I looked at Mina through the rear view mirror. She's looking at the streets with her earphones on her ears. Our eyes then accidentally met, so I swiftly shifted my eyes. I knew that I blushed.

God, how did I fall for the girl I hate?

"We're here," mom told us. I looked at the tall building in front of my eyes. This is our company and this is the reason why we're getting wealthier and wealthier.

We weren't really rich from the start. My dad was a college student when mom met him. Mom became a fastfood staff at the age of 19 and then dad fell for her for the first time when she assisted him. He kept on seeing her everyday on that place until mom accepted his love and they became a couple. Dad finished college and found a decent job, so he told mom to continue her studies. After all of that, I came in to the family and they decided to make a business instead. Because of their love story, I was inspired to study even more because I have this mentality in my head, that if I will be able to graduate soon, I can pay them back and give Seulgi a good future, but she ran away from me and I found a new reason why should I study even harder.

"Noodle Boy," my head stopped flying when I heard Mina's sweet voice. I looked at her and smiled, a little bit shy. "Won't you get off?"

"I will. Sorry, my head is flying elsewhere." I apologized and hopped off. We just followed mom who is being respected by the staff by bowing before her. They did the same to me and Mina until we reached mom's office.

"Mina, dear, do you have your resume with you?"

"Yes, ma'am." Mina told her and gave her the resume. I can see how nervous Mina is because her eyes kept on shaking. Mom reviewed her resume first before saying anything. She then closed the folder and smiled--which may be a good news, I guess.

"Jimin will lead you to the HR Department for your job interview. Good luck!" Mom said cheerfully, so I bid my see you's to her and led Mina to the said department.

We were awkwardly silent as we're walking and I don't like that. I want her to be comfortable with me. I want her to to treat me like a friend and stop hating me.

"We're here." I told her. I asked her to sit down and wait in line with the other jobseekers. I entered the HR deparment's head's office and asked if they can give Mina her interview right now. As the son of the CEO, they said a yes, so I exited the office and went to Mina.

"Yah," I told her. "You can go in now."

"What?" She asked with her furrowed eyebrows. "No."

"Why? I'm giving you a privilege--"

"It doesn't work that way, Noodle Boy." She said. "I don't want that privilege. Let me wait in line with the others."

"But we have to get back to Seoul right away."

"Seoul will not sink, okay? It's just one o'clock in the afternoon."

"I have a class by 5 PM." I reasoned out. She sighed and massaged her temples. "Will you go now?" I asked again.

"Nope."

"Hey, don't force her." Our heads turned to my brother who is apparently already beside us. His hands are cooly placed inside his pockets. "She doesn't like the idea of force."

"Why are you here?" I annoyingly asked him.

He snickered and showed me a text message.

From: Mnet University

All business management students
are required to attend the meeting
in the M Auditorium at 3 PM.

"Time to leave, dear brother."

"Who said that I will leave?"

"Uh...Mnet U?" He sarcastically guessed. He looked stupid in my eyes. "You know how strict Mnet U is when it comes to organizational meetings." I sighed and looked at Mina. Damn, pretending starts now.

"Babe," I called her. "Can you spend a night in our house?" I asked.

"Why?" She asked softly. She's pretending as well, okay.

"I have to go back to Seoul. I have an emergency meeting."

"Alright." I was about to kiss her when I realized that she doesn't like to be touched by any men. I just smiled and patted her head before going. "Love you." I glared at Minhyuk before heading back.

I just wish that he won't do anything stupid.
