MINA'S POV

What fate.

Sana unnie stood up to welcome her friends who is walking towards our direction. I smiled at the girl who seemed nice and washed the smile off when I looked at the lady beside her. Why are they even friends? I didn't know that Sana unnie is friends with her.

"Seul?" Noodle Boy's voice raised. He's probably shocked to see his ex-girlfriend in front of him right now. "Dahyun?" He knows the nice looking girl, too, huh? He knows a lot of girls, seriously. Firstly, I don't remember him being friends with Sana unnie even though they saw each other at the night out before. Secondly, he knows this nice girl. I'm not going to be shocked if he knows other girls than them.

Dahyun seemed shocked to see Noodle Boy. I guess she didn't expect to see him right now at all, too.

"Let's all sit down, shall we?" Sana unnie told them, so the three of them sat across me and Noodle Boy. Noodle Boy decided to shut up because he knows that I'll kick his ass from the café if he would start scoffing. "Okay, let's order first." Sana asked us what do we want to order because she would order for us. Seulgi, the bitch, went with Sana to order our food, so Dahyun was left with us.

"What are you doing here?" Dahyun asked Noodle Boy. Her tone seemed annoyed and her face shows that she's unhappy to see Noodle Boy in front of me. I smirked secretly. So, she hates Noodle Boy, as well? Noodle Boy's got a lot of hate from women, alright. I chuckled which caught their attention.

"What's funny?" Noodle Boy asked me.

I shook my head, "Nothing, lol." I answered and remained silent. Dahyun's eyes went back to the jerk beside me.

"We're a couple and I won't let my girlfriend go without me--" I stomped my foot on his under the table, so he groaned and confused Dahyun why he's acting like that. "--e-especially at night." He continued. Wow, he has the audacity to continue his words after I stomped ny foot on him? What guts.

"You're in a relationship with this dweeb?" Dahyun asked. She looked like she can't believe what she just heard. I didn't want to answer it. A yes would be dangerous and so does a no.

"What are you even doing here, too, huh? Are you going to give her a job?" Noodle Boy asked.

Dahyun hummed a no, "Seul asked me to go with her, so since I don't have anything to do, I went with her." So, she's just a freeloader?

"How did the two of you became friends? You look nicer than I thought." I cut in.

"I'm nice to the people who's nice with me. Your boyfriend here, missy, flirted with me the other day, so I had to use a pepper spray." She explained. So...that's why his eyes looked swollen when he gave me those shopping bags that night.

"Serves him right." I smirked and she laughed.

Sana unnie and Seulgi came back with trays on their hands. They put it on the table and so we started eating. I told Sana unnie that I'll pay her back, but she told me that Seulgi paid for everything on the trays.

Seulgi's little and secretive smirks irritated and annoyed me a lot. I really hate her guts. I took my wallet and paid for the food that I'm eating. I handed it over to her. I thought she would not accept it, but she did and put it inside her purse.

I continued eating and Sana unnie opened up the topic, "Mina-ssi, I found a job for the two of us." She was smiling, so I smiled back and asked what is it. "Seulgi will tell you."

"What? Why her?" I asked.

"She and her brother would be the one giving you a job. Her brother is my boyfriend, so I asked my babe if he could help us out." She explained. Who the fuck is her brother?

"What?" Noodle Boy seemed stunned. "Why him? Why her? Why them?"

"Because they would accept us even though we have such background." Such background? So, Sana unnie told Seulgi that we're harlots? I remembered that I told Seulgi that I'm a waitress--which is somehow true since I quit being a prostitute that day.

"Is her brother going here?" Noodle Boy's voice raised a bit.

Sana unnie nodded, "Yeah." He's her boyfriend and her boyfriend is... "Oh, there's my baby already!" ...oh, fucking shit. I closed my eyes tightly and held onto Noodle Boy's long sleeves. I'm aware that he must've tilted his head to my direction since I'm acting like this. "Want to share my food with me?" I heard Sana unnie asked.

"No, I'm full, baby." His disgusting tone of voice makes me want to puke!

I opened my eyes again and I wasn't wrong. Of all men! Of all people, why the fuck am I stuck with them?!

"Hey, Daniel." Seulgi greeted that fucking beast. Wait...so they're siblings?!

"I didn't know you're siblings with him?" Noodle Boy asked Seulgi, but she preferred not to say anything instead. She just stared at him and gazed back at her brother. "I looked like an idiot." He whispered.

"Well, you are." Apparently, his ex-girlfriend heard it and responded.

"Oh, Mina's here, too..." Daniel's fucking smirks make me want to elbow him in his dick.

"They'll be offering us the jobs--"

"If they'll be the ones who will give us those jobs, then I do not fucking want it." I hissed and stood up. I dragged Noodle Boy along with me with no specific reason why. I'd rather stay jobless than to work under those siblings.

"Where are we going?" Noodle Boy asked. We stopped at the bus stop and waited for a cab or a bus.

"Home." I answered and sighed.

"That's boring," he chuckled, so I tilted my head to him and raised a brow. "C'mon, I'll take you somewhere fun." Without any warning, he dragged me along with him. I was about to shout at him because he's holding my wrist, but I didn't because he wasn't grasping nor touching my skin. He's dragging the sleeve of my clothes, making sure he won't touch any part of my body. He already went inside of you, idiot. Yeah, right.

We stopped at a local apartment. "Why did you take me here?" I asked.

"You'll enjoy this, I promise." His smile wasn't like any of a maniac or a pervert. It was sincere and happy which made me let him drag me upstairs.

We reached the rooftop of the apartment and there's a picnic mat and basket on the middle. He planned all of this, didn't he?

"Look above." I looked above just like what he told me to and there I saw the most beautiful set of stars I've ever seen in my whole life. It suddenly refreshed my soul.

I didn't realize that I was smiling already as I was staring at each constellation. "Isn't it pretty?" He asked.

I shook my head no, "It's not."

"What?"

"It's beautiful." I glanced back at him. "There's a difference, Noodle Boy." I told him. He led me to the picnic mat and sat down. I did the same and then he startedd taking out lunchboxes from the basket. There are many varieties of food that he brought and now, it's obvious that he planned everything because I saw a penguin sticker on one of the lunchboxes that he gave me. "Why a penguin?" I asked as I take a pair of chopsticks.

"It reminds me of you." He answered and started munching on the chicken. He also brought a few bottles of soju.

"I don't drink." I told him.

"What?" He laughed as if I was making a joke. "You serious?"

"Do I look like I'm pulling off some joke?" I asked, raising a brow, so he stopped from laughing and returned to being serious.

"I'm still a minor. I haven't reached 20 yet and I do not ever want to reach that age." I said.

"You're a minor, but you entered a club and worked your ass off--literally."

"Shut up or I'll burn you with that alcohol." I threatened, so he chuckled and made a peace sign. I rolled my eyes and continued eating.

"Why don't you want to reach 20? It's kind of fun to be an adult. You can do everything already." He spoke. Yeah, right. You can do anything once you're an adult because you don't have to get married.

"My dad told me that he'll marry me off to some good guy with a good family once I turn 21. I ran away from them. I don't want to come back." After my explanation, he wasn't saying anything, so I eyed at him and now he's staring at me. "What's with the stare?" I asked.

"I just remembered something."

"What is it?"

"My parents told me the same thing." He paused. "I'll marry someone for business, too."

"What coincidence."
