The Hidden Memories

"let's go out brother! I really want to spend time with you. I should leave tomorrow. It's my last day here." the girl whinned while dragging his brother by his shirt sleeves.

"But look at the time princess! It's already 10pm what do you want to do now! Dad will never agree about your idea!" the boy in his 20's tried to change his sister's stubborn mind.

"Who said we're gonna ask that old man's permission?" the girl who is two years younger than him smirked at her brother who just stood there with his mouth wide open.

"I'm telling you, it's not good for us to go out and you're literally talking about not informing dad! I don't thin-"

"Oh come on bro! You haven't done anything without that old man's consent! Let yourself free just for a day!" She's stating a fact, he never ever tried to go against his father. He loves him and respects him more than anything or anyone. He always thinks that he's lucky to have such a loving father and sister.

"What I've told you about calling him an old man!?" the elder boy glared at his sister.

"OK! OK! I'm not gonna call him old man, you know I love him too. Now let's hurry up. I want to go out it's been years since I have walked down the empty streets of our city." the girl said with her sparkling eyes dressed in excitement which made the elder one to chuckle at her cuteness and finally agreeing to her condition.

"Come on! It's my last day Jimin!" and that's how it really became her last day and last night. He didn't know it was his last time to see her pure angelic smile. If he knew he wouldn't have gone out that night.

"Jiminnnnnnnnnn! Jiminnnn!" her painful screams,her tears, her angelic face covered in blood still lingering through his mind even it's been 5 years.

"No!!!" Jimin sprinted up from the bed with his sweaty forehead and it became hard for him to breath just like every other day. His heartbeat beat became irregular, he's struggling to breathe normally. He need to cool down.

He searched for his tablets on the nightstand where he usually places them. That's when he realized that it's was not his home. He kept trying to breath normally but couldn't, being naked under the sheets is not helping him at all.

"Oh my god! Jimin! What happened?"  he heard a low shriek coming from the entrance of the room and his head immediately got craddled into her neck making him relax by her scent. Her arms around him kept drawing circles on his back soothingly, his head got dipped into crook of her neck and he snuggled more into her arms by hugging her tightly.

Stella kept rocking him back and forth in a slow pace which made him to relax, after spending a few long minutes in her arms he heard her smooth voice vibrating from her chest as he gripped her more tightly.
"Are you okay now!?" he just nodded as a reply still being in her arms.

He felt her cupping his face making him to look into her eyes which showed nothing but love and concern.  "I'm not gonna ask you anything that you're not yet ready to say to me. Just remember I will always be by your side and I will love you till the end." he just kept staring into her magical eyes which seemed to be more attractive now.

"Ouch!" stella hissed in pain cupping her left cheek.

"What?! What happened?" he panicked seeing her in pain while cupping her other cheek.

"Woah! It's nothing just need to get rid off that wisdom tooth!" he sighed in relief thinking that it wasn't because of his rough acts last night.

"let's go after eating breakfast, OK!" Jimin said while caressing her hair to which stella nodded smiling.

"Oh by the way breakfast is ready, come to the kitchen after freshing up ok!" she kissed him on his forehead and was about to leave but Jimin pulled her into a deep morning kiss.

"I love you!" he said while pulling away from the kiss and kissed her forehead. "I love you too, now go and fresh up, atleast wear something!" she said to him who is still covered with a bedsheet and she left the room with her rosy cheeks.

"She's still shy? Even after the night?" he chuckled to himself as he recalled their rough night together. He's glad that he met her in his life. Last night when she asked about his scars he didn't say anything to her. Instead he kissed her again trying forget about his bitter memories he want to love her, cherish her in each and every way and he did last night.

He thought she would question him about his scars but instead she's willing to wait for him to tell everything to her when he's comfortable and ready. Now he will protect her with all his might and never ever let anything happen to her. He's not weak, he's strong because of her love.

Meanwhile

The man kept tracing the picture of her and him together. They looked happy as ever, she was laughing throwing back her head with her arms around his neck. His lips formed into a sad smile thinking that she's not with him anymore.

He closed his eyes leaning his back against his seat recalling the past.

"Hmm, soo where are you?" he smiled as soon as he heard her smooth voice on the other end.

"I'm out on work, I will be home by.... Hmmmm I guess 6 or 7pm!?" he stated more like a question as he shifted the phone to his left ear.

"Hmmmm, come soon I have a surprise for you." she stated excitedly making him chuckle at her cuteness.

"You know what! you sound so cute right now that I wanted to hug and kiss you like there's no tomorrow. And you know that I will not stop till I get you in the bed!" his teasing voice made her to gasp.

"You're really shameless Jin!" the girl on the other end said in her serious tone making him laugh.

"OK! You're home right!?" Jin asked while signalling his Colleague that he will be there in a few minutes.

"No! I'm out!" her words triggered him and he immediately yelled at her.

"Are you serious? I told you to stay home! Why are you roam-"

"Cool down my world wide handsome, I informed Tae! He's coming in a few minutes" that's when Jin let out a sigh in relief. He knew that there's nothing to worry about when she's with Taehyung.

"OK! Call me immediately as soon as he picks you up. And don't forget to message me now and then OK!?"

"OK Officer Kim Seok Jin!" she replied to him in a professional tone making him laugh.

"Bye, baby. Luv you I will be there soon"

"Luv you more daddy!" her words made him shook and honestly it did turn him on. He's surprised that his girlfriend or his soon to be wife called him daddy as it was his first time hearing it from her.

"Now, I'm gonna come really really soon!" She chuckled at Jin's words and hung up the phone.

He didn't know that the word soon will be three long days. When he met her after three days his heart stopped for a few seconds seeing her burning in flames right infront of him.

She kept yelling his name, crying in pain, asking for help while he kept trying to remove the lock of the meshy door. All his team came running after a few minutes and were beyond shocked to see the scene infront of them.

Jin kept breaking the locks as there were five mesh doors to reach her. His eyes kept watching her burning figure in flames while trying to break each door. He couldn't do it, as he saw her struggling figure plummeting on the floor when he reached the last door.

That's when all his three friends Yoongi, Hoseok and Taehyung broke the door with all their strength. It was clear to Jin as he can see her pain through the meshy doors.

When he opened the door she is lying there lifeless right infront of him. He lost his balance but Hoseok caught him in the right time. Both Yoongi and Taehyung immediately ran towards her body and tried to put off the flames with the blankets they brought earlier.

Jin kept watching everything, how her body was taken to the hospital in the stretcher, how hoseok kept consoling him, how Taehyung yelled at the hospital staff to do the treatment, how Namjoon came running with yoongi.

He's not saying anything except for looking into space. Taehyung launched at the doctor who came out of the operating room.

"I'm sorry, she's no more. Her body got severely burned and she couldn't able to handle the pain. I'm sorr-" Taehyung grabbed the collar of the doctor and yelled at the doctor.

"What do you mean by sorry? Save her goddammit! I will k-" Taehyung's words got inturrepted by Yoongi.

"I'm sorry doctor." the doctor left the place after nodding at yoongi's words but Taehyung kept struggling in yoongi's arms trying to get out of his grip.

"Hyung, leave me. I will kill tha-" Now Taehyung's words got cut off by a big slap on his cheek to which his face whipped to the left.

"Come to your senses now Tae!" yoongi shook him violently by grabbing his shoulders but Taehyung just remained in the same position his face turned to the side.

"It's because of me! I'm late to pick her up. She died because of me. I killed her. She's like a sister to me Hyung! I couldn't protect her! I killed her!" Taehyung let his tears to damp his cheeks while saying those words again and again.

Yoongi immediately craddled Taehyung into his arms patting him slowly on the back and a single tear left from yoongi's eyes as he saw Jin still sitting on the waiting chair without any expression on his face.

"It's not your fault Tae! It's just happened like that." he whispered running his hands over his back soothingly.

After two days Jin packed all of his bags as he couldn't live in that house anymore all his friends were helping him and his brother Namjoon turned into a responsible adult from then. He's now like a older brother to Jin.

"Are you sure about this?" Yoongi asked as he left the packed box filled with Jin's stuff on the floor. Jin just nodded as a reply.

"Hyung!" Jin shifted his eyes to witness a poor boy with puffy red eyes who used to be a cheerful person with a box smile. But now the boy looked all pale and Jin could see guiltiness dripping from his eyes like tears.

"Tae! It's not your fault, I know! Don't ever think that it's your fault." Jin said ruffling Taehyung's hair and hugged him letting Taehyung to release his tears fully. He cried on Jin's shoulder like a little kid.

"I will take that!" Namjoon went to get the door hearing the door bell being rung and Hoseok followed him. Yoongi kept staring at the two men consoling each other infront of him.

Yoongi's eyes shifted back to Namjoon and Hoseok who just came back probably answering the door. They looked dull and heart broken. Hoseok looked at yoongi straight into the eyes and yoongi immediately went to him.

Namjoon handed over the letter to yoongi without saying anything, Namjoon couldn't say because he's trying hard to fight back his tears.

Yoongi looked over Hoseok who just signalled with his eyes to open the letter. Yoongi slowly opened the letter and his eyes widened watching it's content. He whipped his head towards the person in horror who just snatched the letter from his hands.

It was Jin who snatched it. Jin and Taehyung looked at the others questionably as they couldn't decipher the meaning of their friends expressions.

"Hyung! Give that to me!" Yoongi tried to get hold of the letter but Jin didn't let him. He showed his palm stopping yoongi from his actions.

Jin slowly looked at the letter which had a hospital name printed on it. He got confused it wasn't the one where his girlfriend died a few days back. He narrowed his eyes at his friends and looked back at the letter opening it.

His heart broke........no his heart bled and it came out through tears. He gripped the letter tightly making it sides to crumble, he was about to loose his balance and sanity but now Taehyung's hands helped him from being sane.

Taehyung's eyes widened as he read the contents of the letter which were written in bold. "Pregnancy confirmation letter" and her name was written on it. Her! Who died two days back. And the middle of the letter he saw the word positive written which made him to tear up.

Jin cried, for the second time now. He cried few days back when he reached home after hearing her being dead. He now lost his love and his unborn baby. He lost them both. And he realized when she got abducted she was planning to say this to him and that's the reason she called him daddy, because he's going to be a dad.

He's guilty for not protecting his love and his unborn child. He failed in protecting them.

"I will catch him soon. He's gonna die in my hands." Jin opened his eyes recalling his past and went out to deal with the press clenching his fists.
