Kiran (a ray of hope) N.G.O :

Nandini was in shock..she can't believe on her

eyes..that manik jumped inside the fire..she wanted to

go inside ..as his life is in danger..but Kiran aunty held

her by her shoulder..not letting her go in..as it can risk

her life as well..nandini was pleading..to her..but all in

vain...

On the other hand..Inside..

Manik entered inside the house and was looking for

mishti..the fire was uncontrollable..every single thing

was burning..and he was standing amidst in fire..he

checked every corner ..but there was no trace of

mishti..

Manik : "mishti..mishti...".. He was shouting calling out

her name...but no reply at all..

Manik : "mene sab jagah dekh li..mishti kahi nhi hai.."..

He said worriedly..

Just then his eye fell on a picture placed on the side

table...it was nandini's pic..and a beautiful anklet was

placed on the side of that frame..

Manik : "this anklet..yeh to nandini ki hai.."..he said

while looking at it..

He tried to approach it..But there was enormous fire

between the table and him..he can't reach it...he

somehow..jumped over the fire...and fell down...

Outside:

Nandini was trying to go inside..but kiran held her from

her shoulder...

Nandini : " aunty manik andar hai..please mujhe Jana

dejiye..pls.."..she pleaded while crying ...

Just then mishti came out from the out house of

NGO...and when Nandini spotted her...she rushed

towards her..and picked her up in her arms..

Nandini : "mishti..beta ..u OK na..tum..tum kaha thi.."..

She said while checking her..if she is OK..

Mishti : "didu..mai cottage mei khel rahi thi..wahi so

gai..sorry didu..".. She said while holding her

ears..Nandini kissed her cheeks and now she was hell

scared..she put her down .

Nandini : " manik.."...she murmured..."mujhe andar

Jana hoga"..she look around and then jumped inside in

the fire...

Kids shouted her name..while kiran tries to go

inside...but some people held her...

Inside:

Nandini entered inside the house ..choking due to fire

smook..she looked around ...but manik wasn't

there...but soon her eyes fell on the floor...and there

HE IS...lying on the floor..amidst in fire..

Nandini : "MANIIIKKK"... she shouted in horror ..he

opened his eyes..and saw her..she saw a quilt

nearby...and fetch it..she wrapped it around her...and

jumped over the fire and sat down close to him...she

pat his cheeks..he looked at her..she was worried..she

somehow made him stand...and wrapped the quilt

around him..he was continuously staring at her with a

smile...as her face is no longer blank now..there is

worry,tension ,care for HIM..yes.. FOR HIM...

He saw her duppata catching fire...and without any

delay he threw it off her shoulder..he instantly hugged

her tight..and she being in shock..reciprocate it...

(Background music)

that they are 2015 not in 2012...3 years have

passed..and soon he realized..their dreadful past..he

(She realized her surroundings..the fire was only

increasing by each passing seconds..she tried to look

for something..so that they both can be out of this

fire..he was watching her keenly...soon..he forwarded

his hand in front of her..she looked at his open

palm..and then at him..he with eyes asked her to hold

it..she was about to hold it..but something made her

stop..and manik knew..what is it..it was THEIR

PAST..but this time he was determined..he held her

hand and jumped out of the fire..)

They both were out of fire and soon..out of house as

well..both came out ..kids rushed towards her.,.and as

well as kiran aunty..she also came towards them..they

both exchanged glance..

Kiran : "nandini..beta..tumhe andar kyu gayi..tum theek

ho na.."..she said worriedly after hugging her..

Nandini : "mai theek hu aunty.."..she assured her..and

then she observed kids..they were terrified..she bent

down ..and consoled them..they all hugged her..Manik

was standing there..watching her..Kiran observed his

gaze on nandini..the way he was looking at her..was

not that plain..it was something deep inside his eyes..

Kiran : "aap Manik malhotra ho na.."..she asked

him..he nodded his head in yes..still looking at

nandini..now nandini raised her head to look up..and

she found him..staring at her..she stood up..Manik

was still looking at her..she also looked at him..and

their eyes were talking..there was no words

required..as their eyes doesn't need any language to

talk..

All this eye talking was observed by one pair of

eye..and that was kiran aunty..she observed something

deep in their eyes..today for the first time..there was

enormous emotions in nandini's eyes..seems like she

is going to break down any moment..their trance was

broken by kiran aunty's voice..

Kiran : "nandini..tum inhe janti ho?.."..she asked

looking at her..nandini start looking here n there.,..and

so as manik..

Nandini : "nahi aunty..",..she said after some

seconds...this time ..her eyes were again blank..as if

there was nothing in it ..ever..and her cold voice made

manik stun..he instantly looked at her ...

Kiran : "but ..fir tum andar kyu gai.."..she said in a

confusing tone..as nandini's eyes shows no emotions

now..and this made aunty more confuse..how can

someone so easily hide emotions..

Nandini : "because wo mishti ko bachane ke liye andar

gaye the..aur agar unhe kuch ho jata toh..yeh hamari

responsibility hoti.."...she said in a plain and a stern

voice..and manik doesn't know..how to react..some

minutes ago..when he hugged her..she responded..and

now..she isn't even recognizing him...all these

thoughts were running in his mind..

Kiran : "but..."...before she can ask anything else

..nandini cut her in between..

Nandini : "aunty..i think hume koi alternative dekhna

chahiye..bache bahut dar gaye hai..aur raat bhi kaafi

ho gayi hai.."..she said trying to divert her mind..while

she herself was tensed for kids..and this thought made

kiran aunty worried as well..

Manik instantly came in between..and said..

Manik : "if you won't mind..aap sab mere sath mere

farmhouse chal sakte hai..it's nearby..kids must be

hungry..and as she said..raat bhi kaafi ho gayi hai..toh

i'll advice ki abhi aap sab mere sath chaliye..subah

hum dekhte hai kya karna hai.."...he said in a very

generous voice..and kiran aunty just bowled out with

such down to earth nature of his..inspite of being a

celebrity..he is a very generous human being..this is

what she thought..

But she was hesitated..as it's a big favour..but manik

convinced her..nandini was quiet..as she was only

thinking about kids..and she thought whatever aunty

will take decision..she will respect it..because the need

of moment is to concentrate on kids..they need

shelter..

Soon manik was able to convince aunty..and nandini

tried to left out..as she didn't wanted to go along

manik..but mishti held her hand and told her to come

with them..she left with no choice..so she also sat

down in the car..and they all drove away to manik's

farmhouse..

Nandini was sitting on the back seat ..just behind

manik..through out the journey..she was

silent..although..kids were talking..as they all felt

relaxed..but she was continuously looking

outside..while manik was only observing her..from rear

view mirror..she can feel his gaze on her..but doesn't

react a bit..soon..they all reached manik's farmhouse..

Manik's Farmhouse :

After feeding kids..

Nandini along with kids and kiran aunty was in garden

area..Manik asked servants to open the rooms..for

aunty, kids and nandini as well...she listened this..

Nandini : "no need..mai ghar chali jaungi..aur..."..she

paused and start looking for her mobile..then she

realized that she had dropped her phone in space only..

Nandini : "wo log worried hoge..kya karu.."..just when

she was thinking all this..manik came forward with the

phone and forwarded it in front of her..she looked

towards him..

Manik : "they must be worried..inform them.."...he said

while looking in her eyes..which is once again blank..

Manik (self thought) : "tumne to apni aankhon ko bhi

chup rehna sikha diya hai..kese kiya tumne yeh..kyu

tumhe samjhna mushkil hota jaa raha hai..."...he

thought while trying something in her eyes..but there

was nothing..she very well knows..how to hide her

emotions..

Nandini took his phone and dialled mukti's number...

Mukti : "hello"...her voice was showing her worry..

Nandini : "alarm..it's me..nandini"..she said...while

manik smiled at her mentioning mukti as alarm...

Manik (self thought): "thank god..kuch to same hai"..he

said while looking at her straight..as she was standing

facing her back to him..

Mukti : "angel..where are you..aur tera phone kyu nahi

lag raha..tu hai kahan..mujhe bata..mai wahi aati

hoon..bol na...chup kyu hai..hello..nan

dini..."...she

said worriedly in one breath..

Nandini : "bolne degi toh bolungi na..tu sach mei alarm

hai..continuously ring hoti hai na jese alarm..wese

sound karhi hai.." ...she said with a grin..while manik

just smiled at her answer..

Mukti : "it was not at all funny...hai kahanj tu..bina

batae chali gayi..do you have any idea hum kitna

pareshan hai..1 hr se tjhe dhund rahe hai..how can you

be so irresponsible..."..she scold her..

Nandini : "am sorry..please relax and listened to me

carefully.."...she narrated the whole incident..but didn't

told manik being with her..as it can make mukti more

angry..she after assuring mukti that she is fine..cut the

call..and give it back to manik..while manik was hurt

that she didn't told mukti that she is with him..

Manik (self thought) : "itni dooriyan aa gayi hai ab

hamare beech ki ab tum apne friends ko bhi mere

baare mei nahi batana chahti..last 5 hours se hum sath

hai..lekin ek baar bhi mene tumhare mooh se apna

naam nahi suna..you are in front of me..but still feels

like..we are miles away.."...he said while looking

towards her..she was sitting on the chair ..taking mishti

in her lap..and talking to other kids..

Just then..a boy came to manik..and asked him to bent

down a little..manik complied..

Boy : "mera naam..anmol hai..aap manik malhotra ho

na..wo singing star.."..he said with a smile..now manik

knelt down and said..

Manik : "yes...mai wahi hoon..but..mai star nahi

hu..star woh hai.."...he said while making anmol look

towards nandini..

Manik : "woh star hai.."...he said while looking towards

her..with a smile..

Anmol : "han..hamari nandini didu..is a star.."..he said

with a grin.."aap hamare liye gaana

gaaoge..please.."...he pleaded in a very innocent

way..and manik agreed..he went in to fetch his

guitar..and came out within a minute..

Kids gathered around him..and sat down on the

grass..while nandini went in a side..standing crossing

her arms around her body..facing her back to

him..looking towards the sky..he felt something pricked

in his heart..seeing her..ignoring him totally..he start

tuning his guitar..

(he sang with enormous emotions in his voice..anyone

can easily sense the pain in his voice...he was

constantly looking at her..while she was till standing

her back facing to him..making him suffocate with her

cold behavior..while he gave a weak smile to kids..who

were enjoying his performance..)

(he start walking here n there.,.still looking at her..his

words were making her loose..but something hold her

back..and that is..THEIR BITTER PAST..she just tilted

her head a little..and saw him..with the corner other

eyes..his last line made her turn towards him..)

(but she went towards the kids..he sang..still looking at

her..she sat beside mishti ..and gave a smile to

kids..they asked her to look at him..she just gave a

smile to them..but didn't looked at him..and this

behavior of her making him hurt even more..he sang

last line looking upwards praying..not to end this night

ever..as atleast she is with him..)

(he reminisced some of their past moments..a smiling

face of nandini appeared in front of his eyes..then he

look towards nandini..she is smiling today also..but the

shine of her face has gone..he start walking towards

her..and sat down beside her..amidst of kids..she

avoid looking at him...while he was only looking at

her..)

(she instantly stood up..he while singing raised his

head to look at her..she start looking here n there and

walked out and stand in the corner..again back facing

him..he while singing thought "toh kya ab tum mere

ehsaas se bhi door rehna chahti ho" ...this mere thought

pierced his heart in several pieces..he stood up..and

look towards her..with pain in his eyes..)

(he start walking in the other corner of the ground..and

reminisced how badly he himself ruined everything..he

came towards some plants..just when he was about to

put hand on the cactus plant..somebody came and

placed hand on the thorn..and his hand land on that

person's hand..and when he raised his head to look at

that person..he was shocked to find HER..)

position..her hands on thee thorns..and his on

her..although she was having pain ..but she didn't

moved her heart even alittle..and soon he realized and

made her hand off the thorns..)

He start panicking and shouted for a servant to bring

first aid box..but she removed her hand from his hold

and said..

Nandini : "i have lots of wounds..yeh unke aage kuch

nahi hai.."...she said with smile looking towards the

blood coming out from her hand..and this statement of

her..made him stunned..he was so numb to

react..something pricked in his heart..and he felt..as

his heart is bleeding..and she left out from there...he

was looking in her direction..

All this was observed by kiran aunty..she came

towards him and placed her hand on his shoulder..he

gave fake smile to her..

Kiran : "pyaar karte ho usse.."..her this straight forward

question left him shocked..

Kiran : "agar han toh..jao uske paas..kuch toh hai tum

dono ke beech..jo use rok raha hai..par tum use laa

sakte ho..pyaar us uparwale ka sabse haseen tohfa

hai..use jaane mat do..agar use koi galti hui hai..toh

use maaf kardo..agar tumse hui hai..toh usse maafi

mang lo.."..she tried to make him understand..he start

looking at her..who was walking ..with mishti in her

arms..making her sleep..he smiledsarcastic

ally...and

said..

Manik : "kuch galtiyon ki naa koi maafi hoti hai aur naa

he koi saza.."..he said while looking towards her..while

kiran aunty realized something deep is their in between

them..

Manik : "woh baithe hai phere najre humse,

mai unse shikayat bhi kyu karoon,

gunaahagar hai hum he unke,

naa he kabil the hum unki mohabat ke,

kash unki nafrat he mil jati,

magar itne khush naseeb hum kaha,

ki hume unki berukhki bhi mil paati..."

he said this poem while looking towards her..while she

sat down on the swing..humming some tune..to make

mishti sleep..kiran aunty saw..some pain ..guilt in his

eyes..but on top of that there was enormous love in his

eyes..she realized something isdefinitely between

them..which is making them..stay away..

Well! she was right..there is something which is

making them stay away..and that i.e..for manik..it's

his deeds..while for nandini..it's her pastexperiences..

A lot more is waiting for them ahead.. yeh raat abhi

baaki hai,karni thi jo baatei ,woh abhi baaki hai..shayad

khamoshi ko jubaan milni baaki hai.
