"Do I know you?" She asked.

Everyone was shocked.

She can't remember me? No this isn't real. She does, she remember me.

"What?" Sakura gasped.

"Wait, Y/N-san this is Gaara your childhood best friend until now." Tenten introduce me.

"Childhood best friend?" She wondered.

"Can...Can't you remember him?" Temari questioned.

"Sorry Gaara but I can't remember a thing about you. I can't remember I have a best friend when I was still kid." She apologised.

"Y/N..." I muttered.

My tears is going to fall in no time to be exact.

This is too difficult. After all the memories, happiness, and love we shared together. It will just be erased by one accident? This is so cruel.

"Y/N he's the one who bought you here." Kankuro said.

"Ohh..." She gasped, hands on her mouth "Sorry Gaara..."

"It's okay Y/N, I know you can remember me soon." I faked smile.

"Well since Y/N is already recovered let's just celebrate." Naruto happily suggested.

"Yeah!" They all nodded including the doctor who are still standing beside her, except for me.

"I'll just go to the comfort room guys." I said.

"Be right back Gaara." Y/N stated.

"I'll be back." I smiled and walked to the door.

"What happened Gaara?" Erin asked "Why are you here outside Y/N-neesan's room?"

"I don't want to join them." I heaved.

"Why?"

I didn't answer his question. It will cut more pain.

"Um... may I interrupt you?" The doctor appeared behind us.

"Yes you may doc." Erin responded "What is it?"

"Since her mother and father already knew this thing maybe you should know this too. Especially to you Gaara."

I turned to see the doctor after he called my name.

"As you can see your neesan's case is rare. After a big accident she was able to survive immediately." The doctor stated.

"The only problem is she can't remember a certain thing or worst a person dear to her."

Erin's eyes widen.

"Wait?" Erin looked at me "What?"

"She can't remember Gaara." Doc said.

"All of what you think Erin is true." I said as I wiped my tears.

"Excuse me... I still have a patient to check." Doc said and left us.

"She'll remember you Gaara. Don't lose hope." Erin tapped my shoulder

I couldn't speak anything. All I did was to cry.

"Gaara, Y/N-san wants to see you." Ino interrupted us "Privately."

"Okay Ino." I nodded.

"Don't show her that face Gaara." Erin commanded.

"I know. I'll be fine." I said and walked in.

"Gaara..." Y/N called me.

It is just us alone here.

"I believe you called me." I pretended to smile.

"Gaara I am sorry for not remembering you." She frowned.

"It's okay Y/N I understand." I sat beside her.

"No I know I hurt you Gaara."

"It's no one's fault Y/N. Don't blame yourself." I smiled.

"Gaara promise me something." She looked at me.

"What kind of something?"

"Promise me that you'll be okay."

I slightly laughed "I promise."

She hugged me tightly "I want to do this for you."

Y/N you done enough for me. Even if my world turned upside down. I'll be okay and that's a promise.
