"Hey mom, do you know where dad keeps the thick rope?" Sergio asked while rummaging in their tool shed.

"I'm guessing in the garage honey, why?" His mother looked up from her gardening in curiosity.

"I have a Tasmanian devil I need to tie up. So the thicker rope would be better." Sergio smirked at his mother's laughter. She thought he was just playing. Yet she could not be further from the truth. Since he did have a little Devil that needed to be restrained. Even if it took all night to do it.

Sergio kissed his mother goodbye, then headed to his father's garage. When he arrived Victor was leaving. "Hey man where're you going?"

"Bro, no time to explain. Catch you later." Victor said not even stopping to chat. That was fine by Sergio, he had bigger fish to fry at the moment. There was no time to find out what his little brother was up to. After looking for a while, he finally found the rope and also picked up some leather work gloves.

Yes, he was finally going for what was his, once and for all. It would be all cards on the table winner take all match. There was too much at stake now and he was through playing her game. Sergio never wanted to play in the first place but she made him play the game her way. Now, it was time to pay the consequences.

He drove to the new garage, but called his father beforehand. "Hey dad, are you still at the garage?"

"Yes son, did you need something?" His father asked in an amused tone.

"What I need old man, is for you to send everyone home except for Rose." Sergio not so nicely demanded. He heard the old man's amused chuckle.

"Sergio, what kind of a thing to ask is that? We still have three hours to go before quitting time."

"Listen dad. I never in my whole life ever asked for anything. I need this and I need it now. Explanations will be given later. All I can tell you now is that you will finally get mom off your back. She will for once get what she wants. It will be sooner than later. I will not say more than that. My future rides on you and the workers scramming; now!" After a brief pause, his father finally said yes and hung up.

"Good, part 2 of my plan has just been set in place." Sergio made it to the garage just in time to see the last car leave the parking lot. After entering, he made sure to lock all the doors. He then took his shirt off and hoisted the rope onto his shoulder. The hunt was on for the little Tasmanian devil, she needed to be controlled; this was for her own good. Sergio walked very quietly and just observed her from the shadows.

She must have sensed him, because she looked up from the motor of the car and in my direction. He stepped out of the shadows. She looked him in the eyes before they traveled to the rope. The look on his face said he meant business.

"Sergio, why are you looking at me like that?" Her voice cracked and her body started to visibly tremble.

"The games are over my Tasmanian devil. You are about to lose, the game. Now we can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way. What's it going to be? She walked backward as he advanced.

"Don't do this Sergio. You will regret it." She informed him, yet he was done playing.

"What I regret, is letting you walk away, but that's it. It all ends today, do you hear me." Sergio gritted out and smiled when her back hit the wall. "Now we're going to play the game my way." He said in a harsh voice as his mouth came down harshly over hers. She started to thrash around looking for an escape. Yet Sergio held steady and held her down with his body. He made sure not to hurt her.

When he pulled away. He used the rope to secure her hands behind her back, then tied the rope to the metal bar. "Please don't do this." she pleaded once more in a tearful voice this time. Sergio looked up and sure enough, tears were forming in the corners of her beautiful chocolate eyes.

"Cut the crap Rose." He reprimanded angrily. She had used this tactic on him a couple days ago. All it did was earn him a punch in the face from Jed.

His words served to prove his point. When he looked up again, she was glaring. "Damn Sergio, you're pissing me off to no end." She said as he knelt down before her. Sergio then carefully lifted her shirt and gently kissed the very small bump that was already forming.

He then slowly looked up at her. "After what happened to me. This baby is going to grow up having a mom and a dad, who love it. As much as they love each other." Sergio whispers. This time, his words have the power to unleash her tears for real.

"I love you Rose. I love your stubborn ways. I love your killer right hook." A laugh escapes as he remembered how she knocked Jed out.

Rose smiled too. "Well, I did have a good teacher," she admitted.

Her words had Sergio leaning his head on her abdomen as his eyes closed and he remembered.

Flashback

It had been close to eight months ago that he had been sitting in front of his house. A muscle car had roared and parked right in front of it. Out stepped a hot looking woman. Sergio just looked on as she looked around then spotted him. She then made her way to him. My package had twitched a little, as she got closer.

She smiled while removing her glasses. She was sinful as hell. Then she spoke. "What's up loser?" She asked, but it only took a second for his mind to place the voice. It was then that his jaw dropped making him had to do a double-take.

Well as you can see Sergio and Rose's story will run backward. You got the ending first and now I will take you through a journey they have already taken.
