Serena's POV:

The next day, I woke up and turned to my side to see on the other side of the room the bunk bed that Ash was sleeping on. He woke up shortly after me and he looked tired but still smiled.

"Good morning, Ash," I said.

"Good morning, Serena!" He replied.

He got out from his bed and looked up for Goh but he wasn't there and hadn't been there when I woke up.

"I wonder were Goh is," Ash pondered.

"Me too," I replied, although I wasn't as curious as I was just happy to be spending time with my favourite boy.

I got up from my bed and we both then went downstairs to the kitchen. There waiting for us, or more so Ash, was Goh. He was sat down eating his breakfast and there was some breakfast next to him too.

"Good morning, Ash, I made breakfast for you!" Goh greeted, "And good morning, Serena."

"Good morning..." I muttered, annoyed that he didn't make my breakfast as well.

"Thank you, Goh!" Ash exclaimed and ran over to hug him before sitting next to him and starting to eat.

"No problem!" He replied and looked over at his best friend with a smile that I didn't like the look of.

I shrugged it off and sighed as I made my own breakfast and then hat to sit next to Goh because I couldn't be bothered to move the seat next to Ash.

I started eating when I remembered my plan and then knew I had to quickly say something before Goh could ruin anymore things.

"Hey Ash, do you want to come with me to a restaurant so we can catch up more?" I asked.

"Are you okay with that, Goh?" Ash questioned.

Why would he need to ask him for permission?

"I've got a Project Mew mission so that's fine," Goh nodded.

"Okay sure!" Ash finally answered.

YES!!!

After Goh finished his breakfast, he left to go on his mission which left me and Ash alone. I wanted to start planting seeds that I like him so that the confession would make sense but it felt too awkward to do that.

We talked for a while and then when it came to lunch, we then headed off. I had looked up lots of places where we could eat and I wasn't too sure where we should go so I let Ash choose.

Once he picked one out, we went inside. I ordered a big bowl of spaghetti to share and we then sat down.

We talked more about what we had been up to while we were apart but while Ash was talking, I couldn't help but zone out. I wanted to listen but I kept on having second thoughts about all of this.

What if he doesn't like me back? He's shown no signs that I think are as obvious as what I've shown so what if this is all for nothing. What if I've broken Lisia's heart all for nothing?

But I need to keep going. I need to know if he likes me back because maybe he does and then we could live happily ever after like I had dreamed of ever since I had first met him.

The bowl of spaghetti then arrived and we started eating from it. Ash was obviously a fast eater so thar made the process a lot quicker.

Once the last noodle was left, he then looked at me and smiled.

"You can have the last noodle," He said.

"No, we should share it," I said.

"How would we do that?" He questioned.

"Follow my lead," I answered.

I picked it up and started sucking one end. He then started sucking the other and we got closer and closer together.

When I felt that we were at then end, I closed my eyes and stopped suckiing so that I was read to kiss him. He continued suckling but then I felt him bite off of the noodle and I didn't feel any kiss.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

I opened my eyes and my face went a very bright shade of red.

"Well I was getting read to kiss you because I love you and I want you to be my boyfriend so, will you be my boyfriend?" I confessed frantically.

Ash then looked very uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry Serena but, I'm already dating someone else..." He replied.

"Goh..."

My heart shattered into thousands of pieces and the shards dropped to the bottom of my stomach. My redness of my face soon turned to a pale white.

Goh had confessed to him last night. The two had started dating last night. I was oblivious to all of this last night and thought I had all the time in the world to tell him my feelings last night but, I wanted to wait until today, and that was a foolish mistake.

I felt emotional and emotionless as I told up and left the restaurant without saying a word. Ash called for me and everyone stared but I couldn't care anymore for any of them despite how much I was crying...

I just want to go home...
