Leaving family behind is more painful than I expected. But it's time to pursue what I have been planning for all these years. Spending these  following days of my life with utmost satisfaction and fun. As I reached college hostel checking in with the warden I marched towards my room. I was informed that my roommate had already arrived. I knocked the door and there she stood with a sleepy face my roommate, Sakshi.

"Hey I am Sonakshi Bose your roommate" I forwarded my hand with quite excited but she just nodded and went back to bed. Well so much for a introduction. I arranged my things and clothes in my cupboard. had a shower and informed parents about my arrival,consoled a crying baba and fought with a rejoiced brother who is now  demanding to take control of my room  there. 

Leaving home without Elena I mark my debut. Deep down I know one day I have to experience things on my own without having a back up or someone to solve my problems. I have to learn to face them alone. Experience will be the best teacher to teach me to face problems. 

But thinking from Elena's perspectives and what she will be undergoing now is unimaginable. 
She isn't properly came out. Above all realizing that she was just an experiment to someone hurts the most.

Elena stood with me in all the obstacles I faced in my life. She was  the person I leaned on whenever life threw obstacles over me. She made me smile at difficult times. She stood by my side during all unpleasant days of my life. Leaving her when she needs me the most doesn't really feel fine to me.

"Sakshi Mishra " My roommate's voice startled me. 

"Good evening" I smiled at her.

"So listen here are the rules. Morning 8:00 AM breakfast.To get a hot bath you have to wake up at 5:30 AM. It will be pretty much summer here all the time so I think there will be no need to be an early bird.Never touch my phone and never ask where am I going? It will be none of your business. The college will be over by 4:30 PM. dinner will be at 7:30 PM.If you are going out inform me before so that I could be a allibi for you. and then " she paused

" yeah it's pretty much that's it. Let's be good roommates. And I more thing keep silence while I am in. I don't like loud sounds" She finished and walked past away not waiting for reply.

I just nodded. Damn I miss Elena

I sat down going through college rules and wrote a to do list for myself. Somehow guilt of leaving Elena doesn't allow me to think properly. I decided to talk to her. 

After trying for five times I logged in friends book to message her if she was sulking or angry at me . Probably a apology message will ease down her to at least attend my phone call.

Dear Elena,

I know why aren't picking my calls. I know you were expecting me to be at your side while as you were with me at my weakest days of my life. I am sorry that I couldn't be there. But It is the reality not everyday I am going to be by your side. You have to learn to cope with your problems and your life. I had to move one so do you. Falling for Sarah was your mistake and you have to pay for it. Sulking is not gonna help. You should have seen it coming. You should never have to be dependent on someone so much. This might be rude to you but it is the best for you. As a sister I will never deceive you. Stop sulking for some stupid college affair. You have a lot ahead in your life. You have so much potential don't waste it for someone who doesn't even care about you.

As I always say

You should be the sole reason of your success and destruction.

I am really sorry for not saying those by sitting by your side. Love you sister.

As I hit the send button , I heard the notification sound. Going through the notifications one special notification got my attention
