Hensley's POV

"Look! I have something wanna share with both of you." I felt the hair on my skin erupted when I was ready to tell Jessie and Danielle about my feeling to Cadence.

I always got thrilled whenever think about Cadence. The way she smiled, chuckled, laughed out loud with bobbed her head, rolled her eyes, and her sexy playful glare. Those were so fascinated to me. Don't get me wrong, whatever she did was attractive to me. Especially her velvet voice.

Sweet Jesus!

I couldn't really sleep that night after Kitty's incident when I was overnight at her place. I was not saying that I was uncomfortable sharing the same bed with her. I was giddiness that she falls asleep in my arms peacefully.

I felt content when we were so close to each other in the bed. She was breathing steadily, her warmth wrapped me like a blanket, and my heartbeat was beating wild like an idiot. I had to spend at least an hour to calm down before I fall asleep. 

About the movie date, I really meant it. I was surprised she asked to ensure about it. I couldn't forget the way she grinned at me. Oh my goodness! Any gesture from this stunning Goddess could make me weak and fall on her in effortless. The more I think about her, the more I'm getting madly in love with her.

Wait a minute, did I just say that I'm in love with her? We didn't even have a 'date' yet! Calm your tits, Hensley!

"Earth to Hensley!" who the heck cutting of my wonderful time? Jessie, of course. That asshole yanks me out from my little sweet dream. "What?" I retorted.

Jessie's eyes widened and scoffed in disbelief, "Oh gosh, Hensley! Welcome back." She said in sarcasm as Danielle was laughing at us. Danielle studied my face and teased, "I think someone might be deeply thinking out her new love. Who is the unlucky girl?" 

I rolled my eyes at Danielle and bragged, "Oh, come on! Boys and Girls drool on me."

Jessie said boringly, "Hensley Landon, we're waiting. You just told us that you have something wanted to share with us. And then, you have made us cliffhanger and waiting for you like..." she trailed off and checked her watch and added in sarcasm, "10 minutes?"

She was right...

I exhaled with licked my lips nervously. I had no idea why I was getting nervous to share this with them. I swallowed and said, "Alright, Umm... I'm... I'm having a huge crush on Cadence." I finished at a fast speed.

They seem nothing new to them. I rolled my eyes when Danielle extended her hand, wiggled her fingers asking Jessie for paying. They really bet on us for god sake.

"I said I'm having a huge crush on her, but we're not a couple yet." I restated as Jessie slapped Danielle's hand away and said smugly, "Did you hear that? Our bet is still ongoing." Jessie stuck her tongue at Danielle.

Danielle beamed in determination, "I'll get that sooner or later," she shrugged as Jessie smirked, "Keep waiting." Then she turned to me and asked, "So what is it now?"

I entwined my hands as I fidgeted my thumbs and said, "I technically asked her for a movie date." I felt the heat rushed to my face as I was hoping the blood rush of beer cover my blushing under the dimmed light in Danielle's bar.

"Someone is getting serious to start a relationship. That's good." Danielle grinned as Jessie studied my face and chuckled, "Wow! This is my first time see the infamous heartbreaker  Hensley is blushing for someone." Shit!

I quickly used my hands to cover my face and muttered, "Shut up!" I felt someone pried my hands away from my face as I looked at the person. That was Jessie.

"Hey, that's a happy thing for you. I'm happy for you." Jessie smiled genuinely as she added, "Since you broke up with Hana, you didn't even date anyone yet. You had been busy studying, party hard and hook-up in occasionally."

"Hey!" I quickly stopped her and said, "You sounds like I fuck around a lot. I only had once, and that was my worst nightmare." I shuddered as Jessie and Danielle laughed together at me.

I groaned whenever thought about that incident and said, "Ughh! I was just too naïve to believe that thing was for fun okay. That chick was too clingy after that night." I gagged and took a sip of my lime juice. I decided not to drink beer after two bottles of beer to keep sober.

"Well, I do like Cadence so much, but I'm not sure if she likes me too. I couldn't really know about her feeling to me." I said truly.

Danielle gently patted my shoulder and reassured me, "Trust me, I can tell she likes you too. First of all you overnight at her place."

I shook my head and disagreed, "No, she's just kind for letting me stay at her home because I was fever." I restate "She's kind, Danielle."

Danielle chuckled as she said, "Well, I knew Cadence more than years. I can read her mind. Besides, she is acting differently recently." 

"I agree that." Jessie added, "I'm surprised that she'll greet people. She sometimes would grin to herself during the meeting." she hummed and stared at me like a Cheshire cat "Did you both, you know."

I stared at Jessie flatly, "Nothing had happened between us. Dirty mind."

Danielle patted my shoulder, "Go for it if you like her. I can see you're really into my sis, Hensley. So, what are you going to do?"

I was grinning like an idiot now. "I'll see if this coming Saturday she would let me hold her hand. I'll start to the next level if I passed that."

"That's too soon, don't try Hensley." Jessie said in a serious tone as I tilted my head aside in confuse "What?" she scoffed "Are you thinking to have sex with her after she let you hold her hand?"

I scrunched a napkin and threw on her face "When was your last time with George? For god sake. I Didn't mean like that, idiot." I laughed as she took the napkin from her face and glared at me. I grinned in victory and stuck my tongue at her.

"What I mean is..." I trailed off and swiftly catch back the napkin which threw back by Jessie and continued "If she let me hold her hand, I'll set a date to do a romantic confession to her. I wanted to make the best memory for us."

"That's sweet! I wished Brian would do that to me too." Danielle said in awe and she sighed, "Well, boys quite terrible in romance. I don't know, maybe they're kinda careless and oblivious."

I chuckled and patted Danielle's shoulder gently, "No matter how I can tell Brian really loves you."

Danielle beamed, "Of course he is." She raised her beer for us to toast with her, "Good luck, Hensley." I grinned as I toasted with her and said, "Thank you, Danielle," Jessie yelled and joined the toast, "Well, I hope I'm going to lost my bet! Because it's worth it!" the three of us burst out laughing.

I glanced at my stand mirror and checked my outfit again. I was wearing a light brown leather jacket with plain white T underneath, Denim jeans, and planned to wear Dr. Marten boots when I out to the porch.

I let my hair down as usual. After I had done checking, I reached my bed and sat on it. I carried Ginger up like a baby "Mummy is going to have a date with Cadence, Baby girl. I'm damn nervous." Ginger tilted her head and 'Meow' cutely.

"Do you like Cadence and Bubbles?" Ginger 'Meow' merrily as I grinned "Look, if mummy able to be coupled with Cadence, you'll have a sister. Do you like it?" Ginger looks full of delight because this time she 'Meow' a lot and louder than usual.

I settled her on my bed and gently squeezed her head, "So, wish your mummy good luck, okay." Ginger 'Meow' cutely and I patted her head, "Bye, Ginger. I'll see you tonight." she curled up her body and was ready to continue her sleep.

I gently shut the door of my bedroom and heading downstairs. None of them were in their bedrooms, perhaps they were in the living room. While I reached the living room I was right.

I chuckled when I saw my mum snuggled next to my dad, and watching the TV, Heidi, as their third wheel was laying on the couch, munching the chips lazily. She smirked when she saw my presence, "Someone is up early today. Having a date soon?"

Heidi scanned my outlook, she whistled with wiggled her eyebrows as I rolled my eyes with bite my lips. "That looks I can tell, sweetheart." My mum beamed as my dad turned to look at me, back to the TV. Then, he looked at me once again. He chuckled with shook his head before continued watch the TV.

"What?" I chuckled as my mum and sis said in unison, "Have fun." Sometimes, they kinda look like a pair of twins. They got the same mind and behavior.

"Will do. You guys have fun too. I'll be back home after dinner, bye!" I said as they waved at me before I left the house and proceed with their fun. I took out my Dr. Marten boots from the shoe rack and started wearing them on the porch.    

"Fuck!" I cursed under my breath when I heard the familiar sounds of the car running as I speed up to shoved another foot into the boot and quickly tightened the lace.

This kind of boots is badass, yet troublesome when you're in a hurry. I sigh in relief after I have done before Cadence pulled over her car to my place. I grinned when I saw the badass Black Range Rover was pulling up my place with the goddess inside the car.

She was always punctual, and her arrival timing earlier than I expected. Her striking icy blue eyes were covered with her sunglasses, her clothing I couldn't see properly because of her tinted windshield.

"Wow! Wow! Wow! You're such a lucky chick!" Heidi breathed out from nowhere as I snapped my head to the door side. She was holding the frame of the door and stared at Cadence's sides in awe with her mouth slightly open ajar.

I snapped my fingers at her face and said, "We are still a friend. I'm still working hard for that." Heidi shoved me to cause I stumbled as I turned back and glared at her, "What the fuck are you doing! That's so embarrassing!"    

"Oops sorry," Heidi covered her mouth as she giggled sheepishly. "I didn't know you're so weak. Just a light push can make you stumbled. You're such a potato." Then, she grinned and waving at Cadence and shoo me, "Go go go! Don't let pretty lady waited for you so long."

"Stop that, Heidi! Don't freak people out. You look like a creep now." I said as Heidi said in laugher, "What? She was waving at me, so I'm returning a favor to her."

She clicked her tongue at me, "Hurry get your ass in her car. It's bad for letting pretty lady wait. Shoo!" she said as she waved me away with two of her hands.

I muttered, "I swear we already left more than a minute ago if you leave me alone in peace." I shooed her, "Get your ass back into the house and quit watching, Bye!" with that, I quickly jogged to Cadence's car.

I swear I nearly passed out when I opened the door. The stunning blonde already took off her sunglasses. Her striking icy blue eyes were gazing at mine. She was smiling beautifully at me with flashing her perfect white teeth. Besides, her fragrance was fascinated. Oh, dear!

"Are you thinking of staying here all the time?" her melodic teased was like the music to my ears yet, I was embarrassing of my idiotic manner. I felt blood rush to my face as I quickly climbed into her car and greeted her, "Good morning" I shut the door as I pulled the seatbelt and tug in.

"Your sister seems like a fun girl, but I think she's not so handful like you." Cadence teased as I turned my attention to the porch. I rolled my eyes and groaned internally. Heidi was so annoying as fuck!

Heidi was still there watching and waving at us. I keep waved her off rapidly for asking her to get in the house. She laughed with hugging her stomach and waved at us once again before entered the house.

I groaned and muttered, "Ughh! That's why I prefer to pick you up. My sis is a creep."I heard Cadence chuckled, "That's fine, she is good." She softly inhaled and suggested, "So, let's have breakfast before a movie?"

I turned to her as my smile grew wider because her luscious lips were forming into a wide smile. Besides, I was gaping at her fascinated side profile while she was busy running her slender fingers at the car screen to set the GPS.

"Hensley?" her sexy voice calling could effortlessly send a shiver down my spine. Damn! "O-Of course, I'm starving." I mentally slapped my forehead because of my stammer. I sound like a pathetic idiot.

"That's good, I'm starving too. Let's go then." She beamed as she started to pull off the car from my house and was ready for our breakfast date. This plan really sounds like a date. Awe!

"Are you sure about that?" I gasped in disbelief at the full plate big breakfast and other side dishes on our table. The portion Cadence ordered more like for 3 to 4 people. I added, "I remembered you're small in appetite, I don't think we can finish all of these."

Cadence said with a chuckle, "That's fine. We can take out the leftover if we can't finish them." Nonetheless, the foods were so tempting. My mouth started watery as I nodded my head and said. "Okay" with that, I started to attack the delicious foods.

The foods Cadence had ordered were honey syrup and butter waffle, and a chocolate syrup waffle with whipped cream. Then, two sets of big breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, hams, baked beans, and a scoopful of potatoes salad. This meal could last till evening I guess. Also, we have Americano for us.  

Cadence elegantly took a sip of the hot Americano and said, "This is one of my favorite places for breakfast, especially the Americano. The coffee bean smells good at this place. I sometimes do enjoy having a drink in this environment too."

I let my eyes tour around the surrounding once again. The interior design of this shop is a white theme, clean and minimal, yet the furniture and the items screaming expensive. Besides, the waitresses wear classy. This place looks like rich people to go. 

"Such a duchess life, my lady." I jested as the goddess rolled her eyes, "This place looks classy, but the price of foods is reasonable. I think the owner of this place loves a classy theme." I nodded my head as she beamed, "Let's eat. Take your breakfast before the food turns cold." I smiled as I continued to devour the remaining foods on my plate

"These foods are unbelievably delicious!" I patted my tummy with the empty plates on the table. Surprisingly we could finish all the food.

"It's so good, isn't it?" the stunning blonde beamed as she was sipping her second cup of Americano.

"It's wonderful. I feel so good after having a great breakfast. Thank you for sharing this place with me. I'll definitely come again." I said

The blonde gently placed her cup of Americano on the saucer plate and said, "Don't forget to take me along whenever you come over here." She grinned at me.

I will for sure, of course!

"I'll get the tickets for us," I suggested.

"I'll get snacks for us." The goddess said and asked with a smile. "What do you want?"

You...

"A Coke, and the snacks I'll follow your suit." I beamed.

"Okay, I'll see you around in minutes," she said with a light shrug.

My eyes followed her ass were hugging tight in her denim jeans swayed left and right while she was walking towards the snacks counter gracefully. Damn! That ass... I hastily brushed it off the thought of her cute ass and get tickets for us.

After a few minutes

"I-uh, I got us the couple seat," I informed with scratched the nape of my neck as Cadence raised one of her eyebrows in questioning. I licked my dry lips as I explain, "Because the none couple seats were sold out, and there only couple seats available for us."

I lied. There has a row of none couple seats available for us. I 'fingers crossed' that the row will be occupied shortly.

Cadence hummed and tipped her head and said, "Okay, that's fine by me." She tilted her head and indicated the cinema hall as she asked "Are we ready to go?" I beamed, "Okay," with that we were ready to enter the cinema hall.

I waited for her to walk before me, and I stepped a little closer next to her. That slender hand of hers was so tempting me to hold it. I was testing water, trying to use my pinkie to reach her hand. Somehow the hand I was going to reach already shifted to the huge size popcorn.

It's okay, I will try again later.

I saw popcorn appear in my view as I grinned. When I was ready to pick the popcorn from the goddess, she shifted away and reached my lips again. I chuckled shyly as I parted my lips for her to feed me.

She gingerly placed the popcorn closer for me to bite. I used my teeth to tug the popcorn she had given as I started chewing it and moaned with my eyes close in pleasure, "Mmmm... That tastes really good. Especially it was given by the goddess." 

I opened my eyes when I heard her melodic chuckle. She smiled attractively at me, "Come, stop being dramatic." With that, she held my forearm to pulled me along with her to enter the cinema. I was grinning like an idiot at all the sweet gestures she did to me. 

"Perhaps the people change their mind after they found out this film is horror," I whispered as I was making excuses. Cadence bit her lips to stifle her laugher and whispered, "I know."

"Okay, just so you know that I didn't intentionally get the couple seats for us," I stated inaudibly.

She chuckled as she held the huge size coke near my lips and said silently, "You talked too much." I sipped the drink obediently and continued to watch the movie. The coke she decided to share with me.

Besides, we were sharing the same straw. Wink!

"So, now I'm taking you to try famous tacos in town." I already told her our plan after the movie ended, and I simply set this place because we had to cross a lot of traffic lights. I assumed there have close to 10 traffic lights to pass. I knew this idea sounds ridiculous, but there was no harm a try.

"Don't you think that when you cross the traffic light or road hand in hand also part of romantic gesture? Sometimes movies may have." Danielle gushed as Jessie said "Lame!" I was laughing at them.

Yes, I laughed yesterday and now I had to try this trick.

"Are we going?" Cadence's soft voice snapped me back from my little own world. I was melting when I saw her gentle facial expression as I stammered, "Y-Yup, let's go. It would take about 10 minutes for us to reach there."

"Okay," she gently said and waited for me to lead the way. I started walking and let her stay close next to me. I need to warm up for passing a few traffic lights before trying to hold her hand.

We started walking when the traffic light turned green. Our hands not only brushing, but the back of our hands was pressing together. We were surrounded by the crowds. I worried we might get lost or separated.

"Stay close with me, okay?" I said as she chuckled lightly, "Don't worry, I'll call you if we lost." She said as I smiled, "Okay." With that, we continue to cross the busy roads to another street. 

"Cadence?" I turned around as the surrounding filled with crowds. I tried to scan around and looking for the golden hair, and soon I found her. She was holding her phone as I quickly reached over to her.

She pulled her phone away when she saw me. She smiled apologetically at me as I said, "I'm sorry, I left you behind." She shook her head, "Hey, It's okay, that was my bad. I was distracted by a cute thing. So I dropped by here for awhile."

I chuckled and jested, "What kind of cute thing you're attracted to? A chick?"

She playfully slapped my upper arm and said, "All your mind is chicks and nothing else."

No, the only chick I was looking for is you.

"Not only chicks, but I also love foods too. Come one, we're almost there." I said.

My heartbeat was fluttering in our close distance filled with crowds surrounding us. Everything turns inaudible and my eyes were only on her. She was looking beautiful standing here as our hands were brushing. I eventually thread my fingers through hers and held it.

Her lovely smile grew wider as I could see delight wash over her face. I felt her hand was pressing my hand gently and asked, "Are we going now?" I couldn't help, but I was giving her my most generous smile and said, "Yup."

I turned as started walking with the Goddess next to me in our linked hands. We were holding our hands securely and didn't let go. My heartbeat was beating gleefully with her soft and warm hand lingered on mine.   

Somehow, our hand-in-hand sweet journey was too soon for my liking. "Here we are," I announced with containing excitement. I knew I'm not excited about the food, it was our linked hands.

"Ah, this is one of my favorite too." She smiled

"Really?" I asked

"Mhmm. Are we going in?" she smirked.

I chuckled with nodded my hand. I pulled her along with me and opened the door for her to enter before me. I slowly loosen my hand and let her walked into the diner, but she remained still as I gladly hold back her hand and joined her. 

I walked her to the booth, let her slipped into the booth. We lingered our hands a few beats before loosened our hands. I joined across her as we started to order the food.

"So, how's the date?" I asked while I handed back the menu to the waiter.

She handed the menu to the waiter and smiled, "It's good."

I pursed my lips and said with not happy with her answer, "Just good? It's not wonderful?"

She rolled her striking icy blue eyes and said, "Yes, It's not only good. It's splendid, happy?" she chuckled lightly.

I pressed my lips as I made a satisfied face and said, "That sounds much better."

I saw a familiar porch with a dim light and knew It was time for us to bid goodnight and call it a night. Somehow, everything was too fast for me to react when I felt a warm hand gently glide my face, pressed me closer to warmth and soothing fragrance. My eyes widened and gasped internally when tender flesh was pressing the other side of my cheek.

That was Cadence's sexy lips! Oh god! Did she just fucking kiss my cheek?

"Thank you for the date, Hensley. I have so much fun with you, and I really enjoy it." Cadence said with a hint of... Happy!

I was too numb to respond anything to her at the moment. I was internally dancing in enthusiasm for a little party to myself. I did not even dare to face her right now because I might smash my lips on her luscious lips so badly.

I tried to put my mind to stop this idea because I don't want to freak her out. Somehow, I was distracted by her warm minty breath fanning the spot she had just kiss. I swear my face was forming in crimson and burning like heavy fever. Gratefully, we were in the dark in her car.

I eventually could speak after I slightly calm down. I softly said, "I'm glad you have fun and like it." She pulled away from me which was too soon for my liking. I silently took a deep breath, turn to face her, and gave her my most attractive smile, and said, "I was thinking..." I trailed off and inhaled silently, "Would you like to have a date with me again before I'm leaving for a trip?"

My heartbeat was beating fast while I was waiting for her to respond. After a brief second, Cadence's smile grew wider, "I'd love that." At that moment, her words 'I'd love that.' Seem like playing a mantra in my mind.

I couldn't resist my emotion as I exclaimed in excitement, "That's great! I'll see you tomorrow." I took her hand to plant a kiss at the back of her hand and said, "I'll send you the location later. Good night and safe drive, Goddess." I winked at her as she chuckled, "Good night, I'll see you tomorrow."

I stayed on the porch watched until Cadence's car drove away till disappear as I entered my house to close and lock it. The living room was dark and all my family was already in their slumber. I just realize we had spent a long day on our date.

As usual, I dashed back to my room inaudibly and caught Ginger in my arms and exclaim in my bedroom, "Yes! Yes! She said yes!" I showered kisses on Ginger's head as she meowed in annoyance.

"So, you make it?" I shrieked as I heard someone talking next to me. I turned to face the person and exclaimed, "What the hell Heidi! You scared the shit out of me." I rested my hand on my chest and complaint, "You didn't even knock on the door."

Heidi was in her pajamas stared at me lazily, and she snorted as I was overreacted. She said, "Look, you didn't even close the door and I was interrupted by your screaming, idiot."

She gently closed the door behind her, pulled a roller chair to sat on it, and scrolled near to me. She simply rested her feet on my lap as I slapped her feet, but she remained there. I gave up and let her feet on my lap as she started nosy again, "So, that pretty lady is your girlfriend now?" she grinned with wiggled her eyebrows.

I grinned as I shook my head, she furrowed her eyebrows and asked, "Why were you celebrating just now?" I chuckled, "She agreed to have a second date with me, which is tomorrow before my trip." I took the pillow to cover my face and screamed in it, "Damn! I'm getting so excited!"

I felt Heidi pried the pillow away from me, rested and her lap, and said flatly, "Look, I'm glad she will be your girlfriend very soon. But, I don't want my sis to get suffocated with the pillow in this house."

She shook her head and clicked her tongue, "Calm your tits, Hensley." I muttered, "Asshole," she beamed, "So, how was the date?" I grinned and took my time to share with her all about our date.

"Oh, dear! Hensley. You're such an idiot." Heidi made a face palmed as she shook her head, "I've no idea why Cadence is so into you." She rolled her eyes as I asked expectedly, "Seriously? Do you think she's really into me?"

Heidi rolled her eyes again, "Come on, the way you told me about her it was quite obvious. Why would she share a drink with you? Why would she allow you to hold her hand? Why would she kiss your face? Did Jessie do that to you?"

She rambled out all the questions faster than Enimen's raps as I gagged at the last question, "That's yikes if Jessie kisses my face!" Heidi threw out one of her hands and said "See." I laughed as I was ready to kick her out from my bedroom, "Yea, yea, you're right. Now get out. I want to sleep."

She threw the pillow on my stomach walked to the door and turned back smiled with a Cheshire cat look, "Good luck for tomorrow, and stop acting like an idiot, please." I laughed and said, "I can't help." She waved at me and said "Bye Idiot." With that, she shut the door.

How could this goddess make me so excited about anything? Back when I was asking Hana as a couple, I didn't have so much mixture feeling contains with me. I was happy with a slight giddy.

Somehow, when coming to Cadence, I would get nervous, my heartbeat beating fast, and overjoyed with whatever she had done to me. I would happy whenever I saw her smile or laugh too.

Still, I was counting down the hours for seeing her the next day. I sighed in my bed after my shower and was ready to sleep. Somehow, I was still wide awake thinking about tomorrow's event.

I was setting up the simple decoration around our tables. I clipped a heart shape card on the table number clips and put a red rose on a small table flower vase. I tightened the string of heart shape balloon on the seat Cadence will take. I smiled when I look at the view of the sunset seaside right in front of our table.

I remembered she told me that she enjoyed the sunset. Also, we had enjoyed a beautiful sunset during our trip last few months. I smiled when I flashback that day we talked, jokes, and making fun with each other. I wished this time we could enjoy this lovely sunset as a couple.  

I decided to wait for Cadence at the seaside earlier after the mini decoration because Cadence must be early in here than the time we set. My heartbeat was fluttering while I was picturing her gracefully walking towards me with a plain white sundress.

Every single of her movements was stunning as fuck.

Somehow my viewed were closed by a pair of cold hands. Hmm... Cadence could be so playful huh. I chuckled, "Hey, you're early Cadence." She remained quiet a moment as I heard a light chuckled, "Well guessed."

I furrowed my eyebrows when I heard the voice was not belong to Cadence. This voice was so familiar to me. Who's she? When the wind blew, the fragrance was not belong to Cadence too.

I hastily reached my hands to touch the hands as I asked in confusion, "Hana?"
