♚SHE [41] : REVENGE♚

It was now november, the month of maturity... they say, everyone was starting to give their own answers.

"Career huh? This world of yours is so carefree... well, I don't need this." Angel said as she stare at the sheet of paper, saying what kind of career do you want to take, stuffs like that. She crumbled the paper and threw it in the trashcan and sighed.

'After all of this I'm going to be an assassin again, why should I take stupid careers anyways?' she thought, ignoring Jelavić who was wearing normal clothing to mix up with the students' society.

Then it was break time, so she was walking through the hallways to reach the staff room when she heard someone talking.

"So you're looking to become a bureaucrat? Behind the scenes of national administration...that's rather restrained for you, Karma-kun."

She heard Koro-sensei's voice so she walked up to the staff room and peeked from the door, she was curious about what they're topic is, so she decided to eavesdrop.

"You know how politicians were useless during the last quake?" Karma asked.

"I can't deny that." Koro-sensei stated.

"But the country wasn't paralyzed, it kept functioning remarkably well. The  bureaucrats pulling strings in the shadows must be pretty great... so that's what I want to be, got a problem?" he asked his teacher.

"No, in fact I praise you to have such an earnest goal." his teacher smiled at him.

"Is that so? Then this means it's Angel-chan's turn, huh?" Karma stated.

Angel flinched when Karma mentioned her name as Koro-sensei nodded, the two guys turned to her.

"So you were eavesdropping? You've became naughty~" he smirked.

"S-Shut up! I don't want to hear that from you, Karma!" she shouted.

"Anyway, it's Angel-chan's turn. You can go back now Karma-kun." Karma nodded and stood up from his seat as his interview with Koro-sensei was over, he walked up to Angel with a smile on his face.

"Angel-chan, don't be a politician."

"Huh?"

"A big mouthed impulsive fool like you on the ticket? There's no way."

"What did you said? I'll kick your ass so hard that you won't be able to eat!"

Karma pushed her head away from him as she flapped her arms angrily, he just stuck out his tongue and left the room, now Angel and Koro-sensei are now alone.

"Why don't you seat down first, Angel-chan?" her teacher said.

"I don't have to, because I didn't chose any career or anything." she told him.

"Huh? Why not...?" he asked.

"Isn't it obvious? I already have a path that I chose... it's being an assassin." she straightforwardly stated.

Silence filled the room after she scoffed that word, it was true... after this she'll just be your plain old assassin. The reason why she attended this school to assassinate Koro-sensei, that's all.

"Do you not have any hope? Or dreams you want to achieve?"

"There's no hope or dreams, at least for me...I'm an assassin who's after your life y'know, have you forgotten?"

"I know that but... don't you have any hobbies? Like singing or drawing?"

"If killing is an hobby, I guess that's it...Other than that, I'm bad at everything."

"..." there was a long pause before Koro-sensei could speak, he was in silence for while until he finally spoke.

"Life has been harsh for you, isn't it? A place that is exploit nothing but war and blood is not a good environment for a child like you...I'm even surprised that you can be able to stay so sane despite your circumstances."

"Stop that, don't look at me with those eyes... eyes that are filled with pity." she glared at Koro-sensei as he snapped back from reality, he really is so sad for the girl... and he pitied her.

"I'm going now, don't try to stop me though... it's a bother for me." she said as she slammed the door from behind, while stomping out through the hallways, she gritted her teeth angrily as she stopped and punched the wall.

"I don't need your pity, octopus!" Angel muttered.

Nagisa was walking home alone, after talking with Koro-sensei about his chosen field, he began to rethink about what he really wanted to be

"Hop, skip, jump!" he heard a familiar voice sung, he looked up and saw a girl with red scarf playing hop scotch with other kids.

"Hey." Angel said as she saw her blue haired classmate who was coincidentally passing by, the male furrowed his eyebrows and looked at her, confused.

"What are you doing?" Nagisa asked.

"Isn't it obvious? Playing hopscotch with the kids." she answered.

The kids that Angel was playing with, looked up to Nagisa with a smiley faces while they were carving shapes of circles on the pavements.

"Wanna join us?" she asked.

"Erm, no thanks." Nagisa just looked at her with a puzzled look, wondering why she was here... her apartment wasn't near his place.

"She said she was waiting for someone, so she played with us."

"Yeah... a guy."

Angel looked to the kids and hissed them to shut up, looking embarrassed.

"How are you?" she asked him.

"I'm fine, anyway, what are you doing here? I mean—your apartment isn't in this privilege, right?" he asked her.

"I was waiting for you." she grinned.

"...What? Why?" he asked.

Her lips curved in a smile as Nagisa was confused in why she smiled.

"I was worried about you, well...you seemed to be upset earlier so, I wanted to check you up!" he blushed furiously from her concern, he smiled with gratitude as she never fails to make his heart flutter even if she's now taken.

"I'm fine, you didn't have to come all the way here...how about I treat you something? I feel bad for leaving you here after what you did." he stated.

"Really? Thanks!" she smiled widely.

Angel bid goodbye to the kids as she and Nagisa walked together to buy something to eat, he bought steamed meat buns for them to eat and cold soda to drink.

They sat on the benches to rest for awhile as they started eating the treats that they just bought.

"I heard from Koro-sensei that the career you choose is to be an assassin, yes?" she asked.

"Oh, well...yeah, how about you Angel, what career did you choose?" he stated.

"Nothing, none of it interested me." she opened the can of soda and sipped ot as Nagisa turned to her, surprised.

"So, your still going to be an assassin after all of this is over, huh?" he asked her.

"Well yeah, this is the line of work that I chose... can't back out now." she leaned her back on the bench and closed her eyes a bit, inhaling the nice, fresh air around her.

"It must be tough for you... the path you chose, huh?" he stated.

"Not really, I didn't become an assassin just because I wanted to kill or take pleasure of killing." she said.

"What? Then... why did you became one if you don't want to kill?" he asked.

She stood up from the bench as she threw her can of empty drinks in the trashcan, then she turned to Nagisa with a serious expression.

"Because of revenge."

"...Revenge? Why?"

Her eyes turned crystal cold as the coldness illuminates with the color of her red orbs.

"I want to take revenge on the man who killed my parents...I'm going to avenge their deaths."

"..." Nagisa couldn't say anything, whenever he had something to say, his tongue was tied into knots, words were unable to escape his lips, he was surprised.

"But, what are you doing in our classroom? Isn't your mission to hunt for that man first and not Koro-sensei?"

"I need to kill that monster too, if the world ends this coming march...I wouldn't have the chance to kill the man who assassinated my parents."

"I see...it makes sense."

All this time, he thought that this girl entered the classroom for fun, but what he didn't know she had an ulterior motive...it was a revenge.

"Once I killed that octopus...I'm so going to take back my revenge, without a fail!" she was fixated in the revenge, blood lust filled her eyes, until her gaze softened as she smiled at him.

"I'm not gonna stop you in being an assassin, no one can get to decide your future but yourself!"

Nagisa's eyes glistened, inspired by her words as she smiled.

"Who do you think your working for anyways?" she asked.

"Um...my friends in the classroom?" he answered.

"Your wrong." she said.

"My parents...?" he said.

"Your working for yourself, blockhead! Get it in your skull." Nagisa was silenced again as she looked up at the sky above and raised her hands up in the air.

"The best way to predict your future is to create it."

The next day, Nagisa's mom came to school to talk with Koro-sensei who was disguised as Karasuma, she was very pissed that their teacher didn't approve as she blow her anger.

Afterwards, his mom drugged him with the dish that she made, and now Nagisa opened his eyes and saw that he was at his classroom.

His eyes widened when he saw his mother holding a torch of fire in her hands, that's when it struck him... her mother was going to burn down the classroom.

"W-What are you doing, mom?" he asked.

"Nagisa...burn this classroom, burn it with your own two hands!" his mother said.

"N-No, I don't want to!" he said.

"Who do you think raised you?! Made you go to cram schools? To a private school? Do you have any idea how much time and money you cost me?! Making dinner even though I'm tired from work! You have no clue how I've suffered—I'm the one who made you, made all of you!" her mother's rant became going on and on until someone slapped the fire, they turned to see an assassin with a whip on his hands, he was angry.

"Shut up your rants, old bag, the show is just about to begin!" the man slapped her hand with the whip, threatening her to shut up, making her afraid.

He was about to whipped the woman again when a stray bullet came out from nowhere making him drop his weapon on the floor.

"Mom, I'm giving it everything I have in this class now and before I graduate, I'll get results. If I succeed, I'll cut my hair and pay back all the money you spent to raise me..." Nagisa said as he calmly walked up to his opponent with hidden blood lust, memories of everyone in Class E overflows in his head.

✦ ✧ ✦

"I'm not gonna stop you in being an assassin, no one can get to decide your future but yourself!"

✦ ✧ ✦

"If you still can't forgive me...then I'll graduate from you, too."

He clapped his hand to his opponent as the assassin fell on the ground, defeated. Then they heard something crashed the ground as both of them turned to see someone familiar.

"Damn, you caught me..." the girl said.

"Angel...what are you doing here?" Nagisa asked.

"Backing you up, what else?" she casually said as she brought out the gun that she used earlier, Nagisa and his mother eyes widened.

"Now I get it, I expected less..." he deadpanned.

"I-Is that gun real? W-Why is a junior high kid holding one?" his mother asked.

Suddenly, Koro-sensei appeared while holding a fire extinguisher in hand as smoke appeared. "Indeed Nagisa-kun is still immature, so watch over him warmly. His just preparing to leave his nest just like everyone."

His mother fainted as Koro-sensei caught her just in time, he offered to them that he was going to drive them home. Koro-sensei was the one driving, of course, Nagisa was beside him as his mother and Angel was at the back seat.

"Why were you at school, Angel?" Nagisa asked.

"To kill that octopus of course, but what I didn't expect that they're will be an third party...now my plan is completely foiled." Angel said.

"I-Is that so? I'm sorry..." he apologized.

"It's fine...I just have to start from the bottom, I won't give up until I pulled an assassination on Koro-sensei!" she said.

"Nurufufu~ that's good. And Nagisa-kun, if you did kill me, will you use your talent for assassination?" Nagisa turned to to Koro-sensei who was driving, he shook his head lightly with a smile.

"No I won't, I just want to use my talent to protect other people like my mom, and that isn't being an assassin. It's way too dangerous." he said.

"So, what are you going to do?" Koro-sensei asked.

"I'm going to find an career that won't worry my folks, that's my ideal." he answered.

"Yeah, spend your time wisely and talk with your mother about it." the teacher said.

"Alright Koro-sensei, and Angel—" he trailed off as he saw his classmate asleep while her face was leaning on the window seal, she was sleeping peacefully.

"Oh, she's asleep."

"Indeed she is."

"When she's like that, you couldn't guess that she's an assassin."

"So true."

Then the car stopped because of traffic making Koro-sensei pissed.

"Geez...cars are slow and you have to wait for the lights, how inconvenient can you get?" he growled.

"W-What's this?" Nagisa's mother asked, surprised to see that her son was cooking.

"I'll be the one who'll do the cooking and other stuff, I'll also get in an high school as good as Kunugigaoka, that's why—let me stay in Class 3-E!" Nagisa plead his mother.

"Do what you want, I don't care." she said.

Finally, his mother gave in and accepted his strong desire to stay in his class until graduation.
