Breaking into the prison was a stealth mission. Breaking out?

That was an action packed escape scene from the movies! Everyone punting marines out of the way, collecting more prisoners on the way up.

"Up ahead," Tani directed, the door to level 4 approached. Crocodile's hand shifted into a flurry of sand, which he flicked towards the door. The sturdy wood, crumbled into dust. Leaving the entrance wide open.

The group charged onward, an army of marine guards stood in their path. Luffy, Jinbe and Crocodile took the lead. Luffy using his rubber powers, and gear 2nd to knock back as many men as he could. Crocodile whipped sand around in large swipes, taking out just as many people as Luffy.

Jinbe stood back a little, taking on a square stance. Legs apart, one arm held to his body, while the other was held out, aimed towards the group of marines.

Next thing you know, he punches forward. The attack knocked down a large group of men, the guys all held this heads in pain before dropping like flies.

"Cool," Tani said with awe. The Fishman gave her a small smile, before steeling his expression and fighting harder.

Tani thought his fighting style was really cool! He didn't even need to touch his enemies to deal damage! Is that a Fishman thing? Or a pirate world thing? If neither...

"You have to show me how to do that," Tani bounced around Jinbe like a lost puppy. Wary not to get into his line of fire, heaven knows the damage that could do to her organs. Plus she needed to fight too, her bat swinging around with ease.

The warlord gave her an odd look, it was expression she couldn't put a name to. It wasn't a negative one though, so that was a good sign.

"This is Fishman karate," he explained, making a demonstration of the endless army of marine fodder. He punched forward, more men dropping. "It's a technique that allows us Fishmen to control the water around us." he sent out a swiping kick, men dropped to their knees in agony.

"So, you're manipulating their blood and brain juices... That's awesome." she beamed. Clonking a marine on the head, certain that she hadn't killed the guy. Jinbe gave her a larger smile, bordering on pride.

"Oi Tani!" her attention shifted to Luffy, the boy giving her a big grin. "Did you see me? I beat up all those guys by myself." he beamed. Crocodile gave a click of the tongue at that statement.

"Shrimp barely made a dent." he teased. Luffy ignored the ex-warlord, bouncing towards Tani with his pearly whites burning into her retinas.

This was all still a big adventure for him. Imagining him being so... Alone?

He spent the original version of the timeline with nothing but desperation, and no familiar moral support. It made Tani feel more determined to keep Luffy alive and well.

He hadn't lost 10 years of his life, he hadn't needed to hop himself up on adrenaline hormones, he wasn't fighting this fight alone.

"You were super! Amazing out there Lu," she gave him a thumbs up. Luffy hopped from foot to foot, dancing around happily.

"Hurry up brat," Trip groaned. Her mood souring more and more with every step they took into level 4.

"I don't think so," came a wispy voice, followed by the loud crack of a whip. A few heads turned to face-

"What the hell is she wearing?" Tani gawked. She didn't get a good look the last time they encountered this fluffy haired woman. Good god... Hot pink latex that hugged her curves in all the right places. Under-breast and stomach showing, Tani kept her eyes away from the woman's private areas.

"My little darlings, oh how I can't wait to hear your sweet screams." she moaned. Whip smacking into the ground a couple more times, in a display of domination.

"Go away weird lady." Luffy shooed. Tani grabbed him by the hand and took off.

"We don't have time for this," she shielded her eyes as they bolted past. "Someone else can-"

*slam*

The whip went down with a smack. Heeled boots clacking beside her breathy body. Luffy looked up to find a tall woman, with purple hair in an Afro... She looked like Ivankov but a lady... Maybe it's his mystery sister.

The mystery sister turned to the pair, "Hurry ahead! I'll catch up with you guys ok," she assured, before crouching down and grabbing the sadistic pink lady by the hair. She let out a gasp.

Tani decided to cover her ears, gross, gross, icky, yuck, ew!

Crocodile noticed a familiar face among the prisoners, his stoic face gained a glimmer of amusement at the sight of his old friend. He took off towards the man, leaving the small escape group for only a moment.

Jinbe stayed beside the group, flanking Luffy and Tani, while Bon and Trip did the same on the other side.

The door to level 3 was just ahead... As was that man from the beginning. The one Tani knocked out with her bat, when he was about to do a body check. He had a bandage over his head, around that spot.

"Straw hat Luffy, your journey ends here!" he declared. Slamming his double bladed staff into the ground. The jailers around him cheered at the powerful statement. He even started to twirl it around all fancy and show off-ish to impress his peers.

Tani took that distraction as an opportunity, a devilish grin on her face. She let go of Luffy's hand, turning to him and holding a finger to her mouth.

"I'll clear the way for us," she whispered. Turning away from him, as he gave her an approving nod. His complete faith in her abilities.

The girl waltzed towards the man, who was still showing off. She held her bat over her shoulders, casual in her approach.

*boom!*

The door burst into a million little pieces, a cannon ball landed with a clunk, right in front of Tani.

"Zehahahaha!"

Trip pushed herself off of Bon Clay, the okama gave her a concerned look. Only to still with fear, at the intense hatred she held in her eyes. The man who had laughed... He was dangerous.

"Piece of shit traitor." Trip spat at the smoke that cleared. Four men and a horse walking towards them with confidence.

Realisation dawned on Tani's face as she recalled the centre man's appearance.

"You're the cherry pie guy from Jaya," she pointed towards the man. Trip turned to her with horror.

"Why are you here Blackbeard?" Jinbe interjected, "The warlords have all been summoned for Ace's execution." the Fishman looked just as displeased as the rest of them.

"Blackbeard," Luffy's face morphed into that of distaste. He remembered that name, a name that haunted his older brothers face.

Blackbeard turned his attention to the short, straw hat kid. A sickly grin appeared on his face.

"You're Ace's kid brother, right?" he asked. Clearly knowing the answer already. "What are you doing still hanging around here? Your big brother is about to get necked," he made a slice motion over his throat.

Luffy didn't respond, his form on the outside looked calm and collected. Tani knew better.

Luffy was livid. Blackbeard continued to laugh.

"Come on Lu," Tani grabbed at his hand, his limb clenched into a tight fist. "Ace doesn't have much longer, we gotta hurry-"

"It's funny!" Blackbeard decided to sign his own death wish. "Thanks to you defeating Sandy over there," he pointed towards Crocodile, who gave him a bored look. "The opportunity to become a warlord opened up." he grinned.

"Original plan was to hand you in, your bounty was high enough, no idea why?" he shrugged nonchalantly. Tani kept her grip on Luffy tight, the boy was jumpy, ready to strike.

"But in came my old commander, Ace. Threaten me! Me of all people." wow, it's almost as if he threatened Ace's younger brothers life? Or betrayed his original crew? Tani couldn't help but wonder...

"Anyway, I beat his ass. Sent him here, and ta-daa!" he motioned to himself. "I earned my place among the warlords." he looked pleased with himself.

"Ace..." Luffy whispered to himself.

Ace protected him. Sacrificed himself for Luffy...

Ace was in here because of that man.

"It's pretty fortunate for you don't ya think? Now Ace gets to die, instead of you." Blackbeard roared with laughter.

Tani felt her blood boil. What a-

The girl let out a hiss, her hand recoiling from Luffy's wrist. His skin burned to the touch, glowing bright red.

"Zehahahhahahahaha!" Blackbeard held his stomach, a hand wiping tears from the corner of his eye. "The little shit, should have accepted my offer to join my crew." his cackles hurt Tani's ears.

"Jet pistol!"

*slam!*

The laughter died, giving way for a loud groan of pain, and the sound of a wall being burst through.

Luffy moved to take another strike at the crying man. The coward whined and pleaded for a medic.

The boy rolled his arm, when a hand slammed down on his shoulder.

"Hold it," Trip spoke. Luffy halted, looking at her.

This wasn't just his fight.

Trip took a step forward, every stomp wobbled her weakened frame. The fury in her eyes... Tani had never seen someone despise another man so much.

"This is my least favourite part of the God. Damn. Resets." she snarled. Blackbeard continued to roll around, holding his stomach.

"Seeing your Ugly. No good. Piece of shit face." her breathing was laboured, but she continued.

"You're the reason all this shit happened." she was standing right in front of the man. "I'll make it my personal mission..."

"To utterly destroy you." she declared. The conviction in her voice, it was like listening to Luffy declare his dream of being the pirate king.

This wasn't just a threat, but a promise.

Teach stopped his wallowing, a smirk crawling onto his toothy mouth.

"Don't get cocky brat," he jumped to his feet. Something in the air changed, an emptiness flowed into the world.

A pool of inky black nothingness danced around the rotund man. Consuming the bottoms of Trip's feet, the woman didn't move. The shadows crawling higher up her legs.

"Trip!" Tani called out, already on the move to help. When Jinbe grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her back. "Let go! She can't defend herse-"

"The yami fruit is not your average logia type." he expressed a concerned look. "Not much is known-"

"I don't need an exposition right now." Tani pointed at the calm woman.

Trip had her hands in the pockets of her prizes jacket, looking as casual as can be. The shadows clung to her upper thigh.

Quickly, her hands flew outwards, one grabbing the sheath of the dagger on Ace's belt, her other hand withdrew the weapon. Both hands slapped to the hilt, a crazed look gleamed in Trip's eyes, as she stabbed downwards. The blade piercing through the jet black darkness, contrasting red spurted forth.

*stab*

Blackbeard howled with pain. His shadowy tendrils retracted from the dangerous weapon.

Trip pointed the blood laced, seastone dagger at Blackbeard. A manic laugh sputtering from her tired throat.

"Hands off the goods, shit-stain," Blackbeard held his arm, the stab wound having appeared on his upper arm. He looked at the tiny woman, with cowardly fear. "Now get out of my sight." she commanded.

The coward scrambled away from her, his men following in a far less flustered fashion.

Trips guard wasn't down yet, if anything. Her grip on the dagger tightened-

"You little bitch!" Blackbeard whipped around, tossing a tendril of shadow at Trip. Who smirked, not bothering to turn around. She flicked the dagger out, twirling her body with grace, the tendril whizzed past her. Trip proceeded to slam the dagger down, hard into the shadowy whip.

Tani had to look away, she'd seen the movies, she knew this move. Blackbeard's wails of pain as he instinctively retracted the limb, with the dagger still held firmly in Trip's grasp. The blade slicing, leaving a bleeding wound.

The younger girl focused her hearing on something that wasn't a grown man, screaming to the high heavens. Focused on something that wasn't Trip's manic laughter as she watched the blood spill. Focused on... On...

"Magellan is here!" she panicked. Unfortunately, her warning was too late, as a blast of purple poison struck the rear of the escaping group. Men and women let out pained cries.

Tani couldn't escape the screaming, crying, pained wails. It was auditory overload! She covered her ears, which felt like they were going to burst. The sounds wouldn't stop, no matter how hard she pushed down on her ears. Her world blurred, all senses focusing on the sounds of anguish. She couldn't hear her own voice, as it begged for help, anything to shut the sounds off!

A sharp pain hit Tani in the side, her skin pierced by something she couldn't get her brain to register.

The sounds dulled, as did the rest of her body. Colours swirled, words slurred. All coordination she did have, was gone within the span of five seconds.

Tani lost consciousness.

...

"Why'd you do that?" Luffy barked at Ivankov, the woman's finger nails retracted back.

"It's just a sleep hormone Luffy-boy." the okama queen explained. "Now hurry along. Maggy-boy is on his way." she ushered Luffy away.

The captain held his nakama close, her body limp with sleep.

"Oi, everyone!" Luffy turned to face the group of prisoners. Who stared back. "Let's get out of here!" he declared. Determination present on his young features.

The prisoners let out a war cry, rushing head first towards the exit of the level. Bon Clay ran towards Trip, who was still standing with the blade in hand. Blackbeard had retreated a short time ago, somehow avoiding Magellan on the way out.

The woman stood in a state of shock, the adrenaline in her body subsided. The memory of her encounter with Blackbeard still replaying in her mind, over and, over and, over.

The knowledge of every other encounter, every single reset, all combined into that one attack.

The bastard was still standing. Of course he was, what could one little dagger do?

Next time though... Next time she would finish the job. Next time she wouldn't be recovering from a god-damn poison attack, a multitude of past injuries that wouldn't bug off, and that stupid time limit before her partner was axed.

Bon hoisted the frozen girl onto his back, she didn't protest. Simply let the okama take the lead. Trip was gonna take a short nap, she needed all the energy she could get for the next half of this god forsaken day...

"Luffy," Jinbe grabbed the boys attention. "We don't have much time left, let's hurry." the boy gave the fishman a big grin.

Luffy lifted Tani with little effort, fixing his hold of her. He didn't want her to break anything because of his own carelessness.

"Let's go then!" Luffy yelled, before running ahead. Tani held close.

Calming ocean waves, a salty breeze that smelt refreshing and free...

Wait a second... Wasn't she in a prison just seconds ago?

Tani jerked forward, eyes wide with anticipation. Had they made it out?

She sat up, staring at the crowd of panicked prisoners. All pointing towards the empty dock-

"Where are the boats?" Tani realized with wide eyes.

"They've been sent out, so we can't apprehend them." came a deep voice. Tani looked up to find Crocodile standing beside her.

"The order wasn't too long ago," came another deep voice, Jinbe taking a step forward. "The ships haven't gotten too far." He pointed out a lone ship, not too far away from the dock.

"Yeah, but how do we get to it?" Tani questioned, jumping to her feet. Her body felt refreshed, energy coursing through her muscles. "As you've probably noticed. There's a handful of devil fruit users, and a lot of us can't swim that fast." she motioned towards the human prisoners.

"Then," Jinbe turned away from her, heading towards the overly large doors of the prison.

"We'll just have to," his hands clamped on the wooden slab, he pulled towards himself. The hinges of the door cried in protest.

*snap*

"Swim." Jinbe tossed the broken off door, turned raft, into the water.

"I like where this is going," Tani snickered. Already bouncing towards the makeshift raft. Crocodile and Mr 1 hot on her heels.

"Captain Buggy! Captain Buggy!" the prisoners chanted together. Pumping their fists in the air. Tani turned back towards the deck, finding that clown guy from earlier, waltzing towards the raft with an air of confidence. Buggy bowed and blew kisses at the crowd of inmates.

"Oi! Luffy hurry up," Tani called from the raft. Expecting to hear the sound of sandals slapping the dock, only to be met with silence. "Luffy-"

"The brat's still inside." Crocodile huffed. Tani's eyes bugged out.

"He's what?!"

A splash interrupted their exchange. The wooden door lifted slightly from the front, Tani took notice of the black hair that bopped from the front.

"Everyone ready?" Jinbe asked from the front. Crocodile hummed, Mr 1 stood back in silence. Buggy was still blowing kisses towards the crowd. Tani gave an eye roll.

"Go!"

Jinbe took off like a bullet. Tani's footing faltered for a moment, not quite ready for such speed. This was a speedboater's dream.

It didn't take long for the girl to feel confident in walking around on the board. Judging by how fast they were moving, and the distance of the boat... This wouldn't take any longer than a minute.

Tani decided to take this time to stretch her arms and legs. Can't let herself fall behind all these big shots. Gotta make Luffy proud!

A shot rang out, familiar to any pirates that have sailed for more than 30 seconds. The sky rained cannonballs, all aimed towards the speeding raft.

Jinbe veered the raft out of the impact zone, leaving the cannonballs to splash into the sea. Salt water sprayed over the rafts occupants. Crocodile was no amused, shaking the water droplets off his hook.

"They'll just keep firing," Tani shouted over the roaring of the wind. "I can go ahead-"

"The boats will shoot you down if you split off, brat." Crocodile huffed. Tani pointed towards the boat.

"If I can cause a distraction, they'll lose focus on you guys," she reasoned.

"Let the brat do it, means I'm less likely to kick the bucket." Buggy called out. The former warlord gave an eye roll.

"Look brat, I couldn't care less about what you do." Tani had a feeling there was a-

"But if I need to deal with Straw hat, whining about the idiot death of his crew mate. I'm gonna lose my mind."

There it is.

"Aw! You really do care." the girl teased. Crocodile narrowed his brows at her.

*bang*

More water sprayed over the raft, Buggy squealed like a pig for the tenth time. The marine ship was within 50ft of the small group now.

So hearing Jinbe say that he was gonna launch them onto the boat, didn't sound so unreasonable.

Unless you were Buggy.

"What?! Are you an idiot?! A majority of us are devil fruit users. The other is a pipsqueak!"

"Oi!"

Jinbe ignored the clown pirate.

"Good luck up there," the Fishman dipped under the water. Tani braced herself.

Lift off!

The board of wood went sailing across the sky, hitting it's peak, then dipping down towards the ocean on the other side of the boat.

Crocodile was the first to jump off, followed by Mr 1. Tani hesitated for a moment, but it was short lived, as Buggy continued to complain about the whole situation. She dived off the board with a tired expression.

Who would have thought an annoying clown, would give her the drive to tackle heights? That's going on the pirate world bingo sheet.

Tani was glad the fall wasn't too big, can't be breaking any bones now can we?

She landed with a clunk, her waver's heavy against the wooden deck.

Croc and Mr 1 were already fighting off the marine fodder.

"Make sure you don't destroy the boat!" she reminded.

This was followed by Buggy, the clown that he is, jumping from the raft. He landed with a snap, crackle and pop... Into the deck, leaving a Buggy shaped hole in the wood.

No time to check up on the blue clown. Tani unsheathed her weapon, clicked her heels, and zoomed forward with nothing but knocking heads and hostile takeovers on mind.

Tani found that these marines weren't much of a threat... Odd. Shouldn't they have the best of the best stationed outside the prison? Or did they truly believe that the prison was impossible to escape?

Never say never, especially when Luffy is involved.

The ship jerked, hard, to the left. Tani wobbled, her arms flailing to catch her balance.

Crocodile ran towards the right side of the ship. Holding his hook up with a growl.

"Careful of the ship, you idiot." he reprimanded, Tani could only assume he was talking to Jinbe. She gave a shrug, not much she can do about that lot.

"Oi! Bratty girl." Buggy called out. Tani turned just in time to find the clown throwing a buggy ball towards her. She gawked, swinging her bat to avoid the projectile. Knocking it towards a group of unfortunate marines.

The explosion was impressive, that's for sure.

"Warn a girl before you throw your balls at her," Tani paused... What the hell did she just say?!

Buggy turned away from her, face as red as his nose. "Shitty brat! Think about what you're saying!"

"It's not my fault! Maybe you shouldn't name your stupid special attack after-"

"Can you kids shut up?" Crocodile complained, dehydrating the guy in his grasp. The man shrivelled up like a prune. "You're giving me a headache."

"Kid? I'm in my 30's!" Buggy snapped.

"Then act like it, brat." Crocodile replied. Tani snickered at the older pirates expression, Buggy gave her a death glare.

"Shut it pipsqueak!" Buggy shrieked, he dived towards her. Hands out, ready to tackle the shitty brat

"Crocodile, sir." Mr 1 stood beside the former warlord. "The ship is secured," Crocodile gave him a small smile. At least he had one adult on this ship.

Tani and Buggy rough housed on the deck, while Crocodile informed Jinbe of their status. The Fishman pulled out the den den mushi, awaiting the answer of the other side.

...

Luffy snatched the den den mushi from the paralysed prisoner.

"Hello, this is Luffy, I'm gonna be king of the pirates." he answered, the face of the little snail widened it's eyes before relaxing.

"Luffy, thank goodness you're alright." Jinbe's voice said from the snail. "The ship is secured, however it appears we're too far away to sail back towards you." he stated. Luffy gave a nod.

"How do we get to you then?" the young captain questioned. The den den's face gave a smile.

"I need to you to get everyone to jump into the ocean,"

"What?!" a bunch of men shrieked. Luffy looked at them with confusion, why were they freaking out so much?

"The calm belt is full of Seakings!"

"We can't swim that far!"

"The warden will kill us before we get 10ft away from the dock!"

Oh, that's why! How stupid. Jinbe is a friend of Ace, so he's Luffy's friend too. That means Luffy can trust Jinbe, so he was gonna do what Jinbe said.

"Straw hat!" came Magellan's angry roar. His body morphed into a sickly pink/purple jelly... Luffy really wanted to eat jelly now. Maybe Sanji would make him a jelly dessert! That sounds so good!

"Candle wax wall!" Mr 3 summoned another wall of wax. Blocking the approaching boss. Luffy grinned.

"Gear 3rd," he bit into his finger, puffed his cheeks, and blew as hard into his thumb as he could. Air filled his bones, arm blowing up like a balloon. Luffy focused on pushing the air into his kicked back leg. It was tricky, and took a lot of concentration.

Gear 3rd was still a work in progress, especially with that annoying draw back of shrinking. It also really slowed him down. Luffy would need to fix the technique up, maybe after saving his brother from certain death, and reuniting with the rest of his crew.

What was he doing again?

"Hell's judgement!"

Oh yeah, Magellan!

Luffy whipped his enlarged leg towards the crumbling wall of white wax. His foot slamming into the structure, and pushing back with all his might.

"Oi! Prison guys," Luffy called out. The group of men looked at the rubber man with wide eyed expressions. "Grab onto Polka's massive head." he pointed towards the knocked out form of Ivankov.

Luffy felt his leg shrinking in size, his body following in suite. Deflating with a whistle, as the air escaped his bones.

He ran for Ivankov's face, his tiny feet paddled across the stone ground. The giant man's head looked like a mess, especially with a the debris still in his hair after death winking himself through 1...2...3? Floors. Maybe more. Luffy doesn't care, who needs maths?

"Polka! Wave up!" he squeaked, slapping his tiny hands on the Okama queens eye lids. "Wave up! We need you to death wink us towards the boat!" another couple of smacks to the eye lid.

A few prisoners joined the mini Luffy's mission to wake up Ivankov. Chants of "Wake up! Get up! We need to get out of here!" were called.

"WAKE UP!" Luffy's mini fist pulled back, the limb grew in size. He threw it forward, slamming a full form punch into the Okama's eye. 

Ivankov woke up with a shriek, hands instantly slapping over the twitching eye. Luffy gave a big grin.

"Good, you're awake." he beamed. His arm pointed out to the boat. "Now death wink us over there."

Ivankov gave the captain an incredulous look, eye still twitching. The little bastard was lucky he only needed one eye for a death wink.

Luffy jumped and latched onto Ivankov's Afro. Turning towards the boat with relief.

Finally out of this stupid place.

"Death-"

"You're not escaping me!" Magellan shouted.

"-Wink!"

The warden watched with annoyance as all of the prisoners, went flying through the air.

Magellan stared at the boat in the distance. They were heading towards that direction... They must have taken control of the vessel, it plan to.

They didn't gain enough air to make it the full distance. Ivankov being a devil fruit user, this was a victory, far too easily earned.

The ocean rumbled, violent waves shaking the very sea that surrounded the compound.

What the hell-

"Whales!" Luffy's voice cheered over the roaring tides. Sure enough, there was a pod of smiley whale sharks, stirring up the ocean without a care in the world.

The whales tossed the small group of prisoners towards the escape boat. Everyone making it across safely.

Now to get the hell outta here!

Everyone ran to their stations.

Whether it was sails, steering, navigation, weaponry, or the cannons. Everyone had something to do.

Tani was currently mounted on a cannon ball launcher. Aiming at any ships that dared to attack them. Thank you Usopp for your nerdy gushing, and demonstrations of how cannons work.

Luffy was with Jinbe and the other big shots. The group discussing how the hell they were meant to escape through the gates of justice. Which were currently closing at a rate that the little boat couldn't keep up with.

"I can punch it open?" Luffy suggested. This was followed by a choir of slapping sounds.

"Just stay on course," Jinbe commanded. "We'll charge right through."

"Are you crazy?!" Buggy pointed towards the doors. "You'll kill us all you fool!"

"Listen to him! He's got more brain cells than you!" Tani called from her cannon. Buggy growled at her.

"Hey, look." Luffy pointed at the doors, that were now opening up. "They're letting us through." he cheered.

*puru puru puru*

"Huh?" Luffy looked at the main mast of the ship, noticing the little snail ringing. Everyone else was too busy talking among themselves.

*puru puru puru*

"I'll get it," Luffy announced. Bouncing towards the den den and answering.

"Hello, this is Luffy. I'm gonna be king of the pi-"

"We get it, you're gonna be the king of the pirates." came a grumpy female voice. "Can you put Jinbe on." she requested. Luffy nodded.

"Oi Jinbe!" he called out. The Fishman Luffy a quizzical look, before noticing the mic in his hand. "Grumpy lady wants to talk to you." he waved the mic around.

Jinbe wandered towards the den den, taking the mic from Luffy.

"Hello-"

"I need you to summon those whales again. I don't have the energy to make a full jump," the girl grumbled from the snail.

"Trip?"

"The one and only," she smirked. "Anyway, I'm not getting any younger here. Tell me when you're ready." she requested. Jinbe nodded, handing the mic back to Luffy.

"When I give the signal. You need to tell her," he pointed to the mic, "That it's safe to jump. Am I clear?"

Luffy nodded. Though he had no idea what he just agreed to.

"Good." with that, Jinbe ran and dived into the ocean. Calling back his whale shark friends. They didn't mind helping out some more.

The ocean stirred again.

"Luffy! Now!" Jinbe called from below.

Was that the signal? Jinbe never told him the signal! What if that wasn't the signal for whatever mystery thing he was doing-

"Jump," Crocodile spoke into the mic for Luffy. He just wanted to hurry up and get out of here. Waiting around for mystery brat was wasting time.

The line went dead.

A bright spark went off in the middle of the sea. Two figures dropping atop one of the whale sharks.

The first was Trip, who looked like she was dead on her feet. The second figure was-

"Magellan?!" Buggy panicked. Pointing towards the man beside Trip. The figure quickly slapped his cheek, shifting from the hell warden, to the lovable Okama ballerina. Bon Clay.

"Get them on the boat." Jinbe requested of his fishy friends. It didn't take long to collect the two.

The escape boat sailed through the gates of justice with little trouble... Save for the many boats that fired at them. Trip just gave a grin.

The gates stopped opening, the doors clanking tiredly, before closing again. The marine boats that pursued their escape vessel, wouldn't make it through the gates in time to continue pursuing the group.

Not if Trip's makeshift explosive had anything to do with it.

What can she say? You learn a lot about explosives when your best friend can set himself on fire.

"We don't need to worry about them for a while." the girl said smugly. Allowing Ivankov and the other medics to attend her wounds. "Oi! Tani," she waves the girl over. Tani trotted over with a bounce in her step.

"Wassup?"

"Hand me that black marker, the one you keep in the third pocket of your bag." she held her hand out, waiting for the marker.

How did she... Never mind this is Trip.

Tani grabbed the marker from her bag, dropping it into Trip's waiting hand. The girl used her teeth to pull the cap off the marker, holding the lid in her mouth while she wrote down a number on her arm.

"75?" Tani questioned... Wait a second.

"We only got one more shot of this," the woman said grimly. Tani looked at her, like she'd just told her the world was about to end in 30 minutes.

"If we don't get this right..."

Don't say it.

"Ace will die."

Shit...

Tani looked towards the sea ahead. The boat drifting peacefully towards a world of hurt. Her gazes floated towards the yellow vested captain, the boy waiting calmly on the masthead of the boat that wasn't his own.

Tani let out a shaky breath.

"We have no room for error," she stressed. Trip let out a huff.

"We won't... I have plenty of experience now." she grinned devilishly.

A couple more hours... Then this was all going to be over.

Whether they've succeeded or not.

(A/N: Hello! Sorry for the long wait (it's been too long!) and the sub-par nature of this chapter. Writing action and fight scenes is most certainly not my strong suit. In fact, I find it very difficult to keep the flow when it's constant action, action, action. So thank you all for your patience. I appreciate it a lot.
