POV Jasper

The bus had arrived at the greenhouse and I slowly sneaked behind Micah, waiting for a convenient moment.
He still seemed to be listening to music and skillfully surveyed all other sources of noise.
I had to get used to the full smell of all the people again in order not to get out of control.
"Yeah, I don't think that's a good idea", I heard Alice next to me, who had found out about my plans from Edward.

"I need to know Alice", I said looking pained adding, "it hurts so much not being able to be with her, I need to know what happened."
Unintimidated, I continued walking, keeping an eye out for Micah who was probably trying to break away from the group.
"And what if you lose control? What if he tells you about a bad accident and you just loose control?", Alice asked concerned and I gave her a reassuring smile.

I was aware that there was a risk to this plan of mine, as Alice pointed out, but I couldn't always back down when things got dicey. 
Eventually I had to start believing in myself and for Seraphina that seemed like a good start.
"I can do it", I explained to her and continued to walk behind Micah, who didn't find this trip particularly exciting.

He left the greenhouse and waited next to the Bus for the rest to finish, not interested in being among the others any longer.
I went deep into myself again so that I could be sure that I was in full control and then dared my approach.
"Hey you're Micah Moore, Seraphina's brother right?", I asked him slightly and he immediately looked at me after I spoke to him.
He quickly removed the other earplug and I got his full attention.
Couriously he eyed me and then gave a nod, "Hale right?"

I nodded as well and reminded myself not to breathe in order to not lose control already.
"So... Seraphina isn't here today and I wanted to ask if she's alright?", I cleared my throat, making an extra effort to stand up straight like I'd been taught to.
Micah now turned completely to me and eyed me,"why do you ask?"

I thought of Seraphina and a quick smile crossed my lips, "I care about her..."
Immediately, an image formed in my mind of my mate smiling happily and her blue eyes twinkling slightly.
His gaze swept over my form, as if searching for something.
"She's fine, don't worry. Aaron had an accident and she stayed with him", he said calmly and immediately my tension eased a little.

I was relieved to realize that I didn't need to worry any more and that she was safe for now.
"How important is she to you?", Micah asked suddenly and looked at me expectantly.
I quickly looked up at him in astonishment and, even without my gift, I could tell that an aura of protectiveness surrounded him.

He had his arms crossed and his blonde hair was blowing slightly in the wind that was rustling through the trees around us.
"I would do anything for her", I said firmly and with a sincere smile as my thoughts immediately went to her and her sweet smile.

Micah seemed satisfied with this answer and gave me a thoughtful nod.

I started to leave, having heard everything important from Micah, but was stopped by his voice.
"Blue roses...", he said and I slowly turned to him, "those are her favorite flowers if that's any use to you."
After that, Micah just left, leaving me slightly shocked.
With a slightly open mouth I looked after him and had to process what just had happened.
Alice quickly appeared next to me and beamed happily at me.
"Looks like you got some approval and that from her brother!", she said happily and I couldn't help but smile.

Blue roses...

POV Seraphina

Last night Micah insisted that he would stay with Aaron the next day, as he was so drained from the biology trip that he needed a break.
Bruh.
I raised an eyebrow at him without saying a word, but accepted the whole thing and made myself familiar with the idea of ​​going back to school.

Luckily Aaron was doing much better and I didn't have to worry too much that the two would do something stupid while me being away at school.
Micah had also assured me that he would under no circumstances leave Aaron alone and would help him in any way he could.
Knowing them both, they would probably just play video games or watch some series on TV anyway.

I parked the grey car at the far back again and got out on the driver's side.
My left arm still adorned a bandage and I was glad that it wasn't throbbing at least anymore.
The healing process progressed much faster than I had anticipated and it shouldn't be long before I could finally take it off.
I quickly grabbed my backpack and locked the car.

Unfortunately, I overslept a bit and was quite late, so I quickly walked through the almost empty corridors until I reached the English room.
A little out of breath, I tried to get my breathing back under control before entering the room.

Luckily the teacher hadn't started yet and I sat in the back next to Alice, who immediately beamed at me.
"Sera! Oh my god I was so worried when you weren't around yesterday", she said relieved, pulling me into a quick hug that lasted a little longer.
She always surprised me with her warm and open nature, which made me wonder why there were so many students who didn't like her.
"Oh nothing happened. Aaron had an accident and I stayed with him", I said a little shocked at her obvious affection and she smiled at me.

Classes started and we both worked on an assigned assignment to finish at home.
I heard many students complain as they wanted to enjoy their weekend, but next Monday all the results should be presented without exception.
"Ohh let's have a slumber party this weekend! Then we can finish the assignment in peace!", Alice beamed at me and we packed up our things.

I looked slightly nervously in her direction and didn't know exactly what to say to that.
My thoughts slowly strayed to Jasper, who would be there as well, and my heart immediately started beating faster while my cheeks flushed.
I tried to cover it up with a cough and looked at Alice uncertainly, "sure that's ok?"
"But of course! We're going to have sooo much fun!", she nodded and her happy manner seemed to infect me.

"Okay sure, why not", I said shrugging my shoulders and she hugged me again happily.
"By the way, the others really wanted to get to know you and you promised to sit down at my table for lunch", she blurted out and I had to laugh softly.
"Yeah, that's fine", I said and we both made our way to the cafeteria.

Surprisingly, we were the first at the table and I sat down a little nervously next to Alice, who immediately started talking again.
"Why did you actually move to Forks?", she asked interested and I immediately had to think 'here we go'.
I did know exactly what Aaron had drummed into us in case anyone asked questions and felt a little bad that I had to lie to Alice as I liked her a lot.

"Um, our family has a house here and after some...complications at our previous home, we decided to move", I explained my utterly incredulous story, just hoping Alice would buy that and stopped asking.
"Oh ok, I'm sorry about that", she said quickly, giving me a genuinely sympathetic look which made me feel a tick worse.

I knew I was taking a step into the unknown, but I had thought long and hard about Micah's words and it was my decision alone. 
I couldn't hide from all of this any longer, nor could I avoid Jasper forever, not when he had such an influence on me.
As long as none of the Cullens found out about my secret, it shouldn't be a problem.

"Oh hello pretty lady, it's an honor to finally meet you", a deeper voice suddenly said and a tall and extremely muscular man sat down across from me.
"My name is Emmett and this lady here is Rosalie", Emmett said and a pretty blonde sat down next to him, who he kissed passionately.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Seraphina", I said a little shy and Rosalie gave me a gentle look.

"First things first, you're awesome at volleyball", Emmett said out of nowhere and everyone looked at him in confusion.
My eyes widened a little as he remembered the first few gym classes we had volleyball. 
After my injury I couldn't attend classes anymore and just sat on the bench but now I remembered him too. 
He was really good and the first person who could hold a candle to us.

"What? You all have no idea", he said shaking his head and crossing his arms, which made me laugh a little.
"Thanks Emmett I guess," I said with a smile lingering on my face.

The mood had lightened and I had to admit that I quickly felt at ease, which wasn't often the case.
I have never been so happy to have overcome a hurdle as I am now. 
I would have never found out how nice the Cullens were and how easy it was to talk to them.

"Just between us, where did you get this amazing car from? I have never seen such a perfectly balanced car", Emmett told me truthfully and also Rosalie seemed pretty interested.
"Oh it's kinda custom made. Micah, Aaron and I like to restructure and improve cars. So the car was our own project", I explained with passion and a slight glint in my eyes.

"No way! You have to get around our garage one day. Maybe we can tune cars together!", Emmett happily exclaimed and even Rosalie agreed, "yeah it would be nice to have another woman around."
I was very surprised that I had quickly found someone who also had some experience with cars and had to tell my partners for sure about it. 
Aaron in particular should be happy because he has been looking for a real challenge for quite some time.
