˚♡ ⋆｡˚ briefly . . . ❜

✰ ━ ELIZABETH LEBLANC was born in Seattle, Washington, on October the 14th, 1980, second daughter to renowned neurosurgeon Ivory LeBlanc and general surgeon Frank LeBlanc. At the age of six, her mother was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer, which she fought for four years until her death on February the 14th, 1990. From this point onwards, the remnants of the LeBlanc family, plagued by guilt and sorrow, fell apart.

✰ ━ AT TEN YEARS OLD, Frank struck his daughter for the first time. She was a child, but he looked at her and all he saw was Ivory, and he could not stand seeing his dead wife's face. At ten years old, Elizabeth began fearing her father.

✰ ━ A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY and advanced academic skills led her to finish high school at the ripe age of fifteen and graduate from NYU at nineteen, followed by tough four years in med school before she finally reached the moment every soon-to-be surgeon awaits. However, by that time, she could no longer step in the house without fearing a glass of whiskey might strike her on the head.

✰ ━ AT TWENTY-TWO, Elizabeth took upon an offer for a surgical internship at Seattle Grace Hospital and fled New York never to return. She changed her name, changed her face and arrived at Seattle with the hope of a new life. She did not care about what she had left behind and did not think her past could catch up to her.

✰ ━ AT TWENTY-THREE, Elizabeth was no longer Elizabeth, but Billie. Billie Black. Now, she was free of her past; she was starting her surgical internship at Seattle Grace Hospital under the tutorship of general surgeon Richard Webber and things could not be better.
