Shivaay and annika stood with blank reaction on their faces listening to Tej.By the time doctor came and told that shalini is out of danger and tej immediately requested the doctor to allow him meet her.Due to his continuous pleadings the doctor agreed. And tej went inside the ward ,but still shalini was unconscious. He went near her...

T-shalini...(caressing her head with love and took a deep breath)do you know why I named you as shalini ,It's my mother's name (with tears ).I'm really sorry shalu ma it's all because of me .I don't have the guts to face you when you wake up(wiping his tears)so...so...I'm leaving .But please don't hate me dear ,it's indeed that Tej Arora is a worst man but your paapu was never like that ,he had always loved you and will love you forever.

Then he came out and told annika that he is leaving ...

A-kahan?
T-I don't know but I have to ,I can't see hatred for me in shalini's eyes.She's fine and that's enough for me.Plss take care of her ,she's a small girl.And I know you will because at the end she is your sister.

Saying this he left from there not before asking sorry to annika for his deeds.

After that an hour passed but still annika was engrossed in her thoughts. Shivaay sat beside her and started feeding her some food as she seemed to be drained of and she also ate silently ...

S-Do you know annika(while feeding her) ,today I was dieing from inside each and every minute until I saw you safe .
A-plss shivaay ,dont speak like this (keeping her finger on his lips)
S-teek hai... teek hai...(feeding her)but you know one thing first I misunderstood shalini as you and (he told whatever he did)
A-(smiled faintly)but now I have to take care of her shivaay,she had faced a huge grief today.She won't be able to handle this ,I have to stand by her.(to which shivaay nodded positively)

After sometime they heard some noise in the next building so they both went to the corridor to check what happened. They found that there was a small fire breakout in the accident block (next building)of the hospital .On watching the fire breakout annika became unstable and she got an extreme pain in her head and instantly she fainted .Shivaay being extremely scared watching her state and he instantly scooped her in his arms and took her to the doctor.He stood totally numb outside the door looking at her through the gap in the door.

At the same time Ram came there to meet shivaay along with the lady who had filed a complaint on annika's missing case.

She is Reshma ,annika's cuisine.
Re-where is anika (worried)she asked to shivaay .
S-aap kaun hai?(confused)
Ram-she is annika's sister Shivaay.
S-(shocked)kitni sister's hai annika ko(cutted by reshma)

By the time doctor came and told that annika was alright, it's just that she had gained her memory back due to a sudden shock to her brain.Something has stimulated all her memories and so she regained her memory. Shivaay remembered her state changing when she was watching the the fire accident in the building and instantly something popped up in his mind.Her behaviour in the theatre the other day(in the chapter WHY SO...)But after hearing that she had gained her memory he realized something.There is a possibility that she may forget him.What if it happens and she really forgets him .This thought started haunting him like hell.The doctor told that annika was asking for a person called Resh continuously.

Re-it's me doctor... it's me and she went inside the room.

Shivaay was in the verge of breaking down when he came to know that annika didn't call him after getting her consious. He didn't have the courage to meet her after knowing that she may not recognise him.

In the room

Annika's eyes was completely fixed on the door and when she saw Reshma ,at once a smile appeared in her face.Reshma came and just hugged annika ...

Re-kitni dar gayi mein ,what happened to you haa.Ab teek ho na tum(while hugging her)

A-I'm fine Resh ,I'm fine.(wiping Reshma's tears and coming out of the hug)

Here shivaay could no more control himself ,he really wanted to meet her .So putting all his faith in God he slowly opened the door and went inside to find annika on the bed and Reshma sitting beside her.After watching him annika had a blank reaction on her face which was noticed by him.He was sending thousands of prayers to God in each passing second .He slowly went and sat on the other side of the bed facing her .His face clearly showed how much scared he was ,he will never be able to tolerate her ignorance on him...

S-a..n..n..i..k..a(stammering and automatically tears started flowing on his cheecks)

She immediately jumped on and clung herself with him with her hands around his neck and whispered "shivaay" between her sobs,as she knew what shivaay would have gone through after knowing that she had regained her memory. And this man shivaay was on top of the world after hearing his name from her.He felt as though his lost life returned back and he wrapped his both the hands around her waist tightly and pulled her more close.And he planted innumerable kisses on her shoulder (while hugging) to which annika closed her eyes in contentment and keenly felt his each and every kiss on her.

Watching all this Reshma came to know that there was something eternal between the two.

(Note:I personally thought not to hurt shivaay so ,I made annika recognize him .I hope you'll are ok with it)

Then slowly annika came out of the hug and introduced Reshma to shivaay and vise versa .

Reshma is her maasi's daughter.

They both came to city together .Annika was in the process of starting her new business on her own here and that is when she met with the accident the other day. And she also told everything about her accident ,who did that and why tej wanted to kill her,and she even told about shalini.(Reshma was shocked listening to all this,she knew that annika had a twin sister who was lost when she was born but she didn't knew that tej was behind all this).Then she told everything about shivaay to Reshma .

After listening to annika Reshma instantly thanked shivaay for saving annika as Reshma's love for annika was true and she was the one taking care of her like her mother from her childhood.Shivaay was very happy as finally annika has got her family back and all her problems were solved.

Then annika was taken to the scan room for taking some tests.
Shivaay and Reshma were waiting outside and that is when shivaay asked Reshma about annika's parents and she told him about annika's past life...

Flashback:

As her parents lost their other daughter at the same day when she was born ,annika was brought more securely with the love of her parents.They did everything she asked for as it was their only loved daughter they could save at the end.Annika also lead a happy and contented life with her parents.(she didn't knew about her twin sister).But as we know fate leaves none .And it was a dreadful day for annika when she lost both her parents simultaneously in front of her eyes when she was 8.

One day annika was returning from school with her father to her home but suddenly they heard a huge blast sound and they were shocked to witness their house to be burning.It was a gas leakage and thus there was a blast and they both were crying their heart out watching Shyamli (annika's mother)die in front of them.Not being able to bear the truth that shyamli was dead ,Vishnu(annika's father )went through a heart attack and died at the same spot.Witnessing the death of both her parents on the same time annika was in a very vulnerable state at that time.Then it was Reshma who took care of annika .And thus annika considered Reshma as her everything.

Listening to all this Shivaay made it clear that he'll fill annika's life with happiness and there would be nothing in her life which brings sorrow to her...

S-ahh ...aapki  parents?(he asked hesitantly)
Re-(nodded negatively)
S-I'm sorry.

After that the doctor told that annika was absolutely fine and she had recovered completely but she may have headache at times which will also decrease  through time and prescribed certain medicines.

I fell in love with you because of the million things you never knew you were doing❤

I'm really sorry for giving back to  back flashback ,and I know it was quite boring  as I kept shalini unconscious throughout this chapter,but the story will make a move in the next one for sure.Until then please drop your comments and votes😊
