Finally, is what it was like.Their marriage has been fixed for which they had been desperately waiting for . Indeed, their relationship was built long before,but marriage is something which would bind them together forever.And that very feeling itself had brought all their desperation. After all they both had faced in life, now ,it's certainly their day at the end .Marriage isn't just a knot fixing two people, it is a beautiful step towards the journey to the next path of life with a person along who had attached themselves in you to drain in the world of love with you .

A day before wedding

On reaching the venue ,annika was taken to her room and shivaay to his's.

Annika- Resh,where is my wedding dress? (She asked being tensed )It isn't there in my suitcase.

Reshma- Relax annika.

A- what do you mean by relax?Shivaay had selected it for me ,if I don't wear it he will be dissappointed! Where is it?

Shalini - hey ,I remember keeping it in your case .Did you check properly ?

A- I did ,but I couldn't find it .

R- wait! annika . It's in my bag,don't worry.Before that ,I want to ask you something .

A- hmm?

Reshma quietly picked a parcel from her bag and handed it to annika .

Re- annika ,this isn't the one which you bought .Ye teri maa ki jhode hai ,which is the only thing I was able to save .Kal ka din bahut special hai tere liye ,and that's why I thought that you should wear this (nearing her and caressing her hair)Badimaa might not be with us ,but I'm sure that,she will be seeing you from somewhere showering all her blessings on you .

By the time both annika and shalini had become emotional with their tears brimming to fall down anytime .Annika clutched the dress close to her heart murmuring "maa ki hai " with a quite excited feel expressed through her smile between her tears .Watching which ,Reshma and Shalini could do nothing but just share a tight hug with her ,supporting their sister who was ahead of beginning her new life  .

In shivaay's room

Priyanka - baiya ...baiya (she came hurriedly)

Shivaay-(holding her to halt) hey pri, how many times to tell you not to walk so fast. Dr has advised you to take rest right ?then why are you troubling yourself ?

P- oh God! Baiya! ,I'm all fit and fine to enjoy my baiya's wedding . Aapka special din hai ,and you want me to sit and rest ?really ?Mein hi karunga sab ,(she said stubbornly )

S- teek hai baba,tum hi karlo sab.But wait,did you eat something or not haan?

P- ji baiya...breakfast checked .

S- jui...(interrupted)

P- juice checked (imitating him)

S- medi...(interrupted)

P- medicines bhi checked .

S- (sighing )tum na (nodding in disbelief)baito yahan .

He made her sit on the couch .

P- hmm(sighing )with all your pamperings ,I just forgot for what I had come here ....haan ,vo aapka turbun colour choose karna hoga na,so tell me baiya mild peach teek hai ya white?

S- I think white will do .

P- ok then ,perfect. I'll bring it !

S- bahut excited ho?

P- haan tho? Matlab ,It's my shivaay baiya's wedding!! and guess what? It's my best friend's wedding too, hoongi mein excited kyunki meri best friend meri bhabi bane vaali hai !...(she paused)Par sach kahun tho ,annika is really lucky to have my best baiya as her best husband .

S- best wife ke liye ,best husband hona chahiye na...(he said dreamily)

While priyanka looked at her brother with a teasing smile.

P- haa haan ,enough baiya .Bas thoda time baaki hai ,then your "already best wife" is all your's. Don't...... worry( she stretched her words while punching his shoulders slightly)

S- chal nautanki (pulling her cheecks)

At night

Everyone had left for dinner ,while annika was trying her accessories choosing the matching ones for her outfit .When she was fixing her earrings, suddenly it fell down beneath the bed .She bent down and tried to take it but she wasn't able to reach it .Shivaay who had just come to see her stood baffled finding her struggling beneath the bed .Then she somehow took it ,and when she was trying to come out her hair got stuck with the wooden base of the bed.

A- (frowning) ye kya huwa?(fidgeting it)

Shivaay who saw this,just smiled and bend down to help her .

S- what are you doing annika ?

A- aap! I got scared,when did you come ?

S- pehle bahar aao,

Then he helped her out ,detangling her hair .

A- aap yah...

Before she could speak further ,her words halted to find him gently fixing her nose ring which was hanging down halfway from her hair .He pulled it around her cheeck and clutched it rooting it through the pierce smoothly not wanting to hurt her somehow .All this while ,she just couldn't remove her eyes from him .Fixing it properly he looked at her who was certainly staring at him for the past few minutes .

S- hey annika ?(shaking her )kya hogaya tumhe?

A- pata nahi,all this time I was feeling nervous thinking about tomorrow but now,after seeing you ....I'm fine infact I'm hell excited ! Kaise karthe hai aap?

Without replying anything,he instantly pulled her close wounding his hands around her waist making her hit his chest .

S- looks like ,someone's waiting to be mine haan?(he smirked )

A- wait tho kar rahi thi mein 24 years se ,par ab ek second bhi wait nahi ho rahi hai mujse .

She spoke looking directly into his eyes .

S- anni(interrupted)

A- will you make a promise ?

S- kisliye ?

A- I know that I'm stubborn ,and it's too difficult to convince me if something goes wrong. We are yet to get married ,after marriage ...if I behave stubborn or if there is any fight between us plss don't scold me harshly. If I'm at fault, try to make me understand and plss don't ignore me for anything. I won't be able to bear it .

She spoke like a kid ,putting forth her complaints while fidgeting his collar and he who was noticing all this quietly placed a soft kiss on her forehead which immediately brought a lengthened smile on her lips as she curled her arms around his shoulders lessening the distance between them to feel his warmth within her.They remained in the same position, pausing the moment to live through it till eternity .Sealing his claiming kiss,he opened his eyes to have the best sight infront .His woman who had developed an enough pretty smile , feeling his lips on her skin stood with closed eyes still lost in their moment .

S- annika ,whatever happens ...mein teri saath hoon ...hamesha ke liye and I promise ki mein tumhe kabhi hurt nahi karunga. How much ever stubborn you behave ,I'll manage (chuckling )aur kya karun mein ?jailna padega na tuje (he said sarcastically)

She immediately hit his chest slightly with a cute frown on her face .

S - acha teek hai ,aa jao ...aa jao

He pulled her into a secure hug,while she soon hid herself within him placing her head close to his chest .

A- shivaay ,I wanted to tell you something.

S- hmm?(caressing her hair)

A- uhh,shaadi ke liye.... mein meri maa ki jhode    ...pehna.... chahthi hoon ...tho(she stammered)

S- baby ,

He lifted her chin to meet her eyes which were depicting her hesitation .

S- are you asking permission baby, haven't you known me yet?  Teri kushi jispe bhi hai ,vahi mera faisla hoga...jaanthi ho na tum (he assured)

She silently looked at him for few minutes after which he questioned her through his eyes .

A- bahut pyaar aa raha hai aap pe.(she spoke in a mild voice )

S- tho ....de kuch pyaar (he demanded)

A- kaise?

S- that's your wish,I'm ready for anything.

Saying this he immediately lifted her in his arms and sat on the bed with her on his laps .She who was shocked by his sudden move ,shivered in the intimacy which grew at that moment as she clung to his shoulders leaving no gap between them.He then slowly ran his hands on her cheecks to get hold on them and rubbed his thumb on her skin .Each time she bent down in shy he kept on lifting her chin to get the view of his shy queen.

S - I love you too baby

And immediately he pressed his lips on her nose feeling which she plastered her lips on his chin simultaneously.He gradually moved all her hair strands waving through her face .Pulling back ,again they created a new moment with her kissing his nose and him kissing her chin at the same time.That was their moment ,Shivaay and Annika's happiness is being with each other.This would have been false if it was stated a few months ago to them .But now ,it was like an universal truth .Indeed ,both could never dare to imagine a life without the other .That's where time has taken them .

So let's wait to find what married life has instored for this couple .

Love is just a word until someone comes along and give it a meaning ❤
