I stood in front of the mirror, making sure my hair was good and my buttons were all paired correctly. Tonight I'm taking my girlfriend of almost two and a half years, Y/n Y/l/n, out to dinner. I recently got back from the first leg of my tour, and I want to treat her to a nice dinner. I put on black dress pants and a white button down shirt. "Shawn?" Y/n asked as she stepped out of the bathroom where she had been getting changed. I looked at her and my eyes went wide as my jaw dropped.

"Fuck." I said. She was wearing a short pink dress that showed the perfect amount of cleavage, and pink heels. She didn't have too much makeup on, and she had straightened her hair.

"What do you think? Do you like it?" She asked as she slowly spun in a circle and then looked at me with a smile. She knew exactly what she was doing to me.

"I love it baby girl. You look absolutely stunning." I said with a smile. Her smile widened.

"Will you help me pick out which necklace to wear please? I want to wear one that you got me but I don't know which one." She asked and said. I nodded.

"Of course sweetheart." I said as we walked over to where all of her jewelry was. I had gotten her a lot of necklaces over the time that we had been together. As she stood next to me, I put my hand on her back and gently rubbed. She leaned on me, and I kissed the side of her head. She picked up the locket I gave her on our one year anniversary. Engraved in the outside of the locket, it said "I love you" and on the inside of the locket were two pictures. One was our first picture together, the other was our first picture as boyfriend and girlfriend. Y/n handed me the locket.

"Will you put it on me please?" She asked. I nodded and put it on her before kissing her shoulder.

"There you go gorgeous." I said. She turned around and smiled at me.

"Did this dress put you in a mood?" She asked. I chuckled.

"Not a mood, it put me in the mood." I said. Y/n laughed before wrapping her arms around my shoulders. I wrapped my arms around her waist and held her as close to me as possible.

"Why do I get the feeling that we're going to be having some fun when we get home?" Y/n asked. I smirked.

"Because we will be." I said. She smiled and then kissed me. As our lips moved together, I felt butterflies erupt and fly around in my stomach, I felt sparks shoot through my body, and I felt my heart race like crazy. We eventually pulled away.

"We should go or we're going to be late for our reservation." Y/n said. I nodded, grabbed our things, and then interlaced my fingers with hers. As soon as our skin touched, I felt electricity spark through me, yet I felt safe and warm at the same time. We got in the car, and I turned it on and buckled in. Before I did anything else, I turned to my beautiful girl, gently grabbed her hand, and kissed it.

"I love you." I said. She gently squeezed my hand, and I squeezed back.

"I love you too." She said. I let go of her hand and then we drove to the restaurant and sat across from each other. We had been here so many times, we didn't need to look at the menu.

"Remember the first time that we came here?" I asked. Y/n nodded with a smile.

"Yeah. It was my twenty first birthday." She said as she reached her hand out for mine. I eagerly interlaced our fingers as I nodded.

"Yup." I said.

"I'm so happy that you're home baby. I love spending so much time with you." Y/n said. I nodded.

"I know, I'm happy to be home with you too." I said.

"The other day, someone came up to me and they said that we're a really cute couple and then they asked when we're getting married." Y/n said. I smiled.

"What did you tell them?" I asked.

"That we'll get married eventually, and that we're not in any rush." Y/n said. I nodded.

"Yup. It'll happen, I promise. You shouldn't rush something you know is going to last forever." I said. Y/n smiled at me, and I knew that she was happy about me saying that her and I are going to last forever. Y/n and I had a nice dinner, but both of us were eager to get home and make love. When we got in the car, before I could even put the key in the ignition, Y/n turned to me and started to kiss me passionately as she had one hand on my cheek.

"I love you. I want you." She said when we pulled away.

"I love you and I want you too. Fuck baby, wear this dress more often." I said. Y/n laughed and we began to drive away. I had one hand on the steering wheel, the other hand holding Y/n's, but then she moved it so my hand was on her thigh. I gently squeezed her thigh and rubbed it with my thumb, and I could hear her breathing change. We got home and went upstairs to our bedroom. "Of course baby. Do you want me to put my hair up?" She asked. My hands were still on the sides of her waist, and I shook my head as I wrapped my arms around her waist and held her back against my chest.

"No. Fuck babe, this dress is incredible. You look... wow. You ready baby?" Shawn asked. Y/n nodded.
