Shawn's point of view

Earlier today, I went to a Dunkin Donuts in Boston, Massachusetts. Tour has left me tired, so I wanted to get a coffee or something. I walked in, expecting to get a coffee, and ended up not only getting a coffee, but also meeting a girl who I instantly fell for, Y/n Y/l/n. I asked her out on a date within five minutes of meeting her, and halfway through our first date, when she mentioned that she had read all of the Harry Potter books and seen all of the Harry Potter movies, I asked her out on a second date.

As I sat backstage before my question and answer session, I checked Instagram. Oh gosh, someone took a picture of Y/n and I sitting across from each other, laughing. I read the caption.

"Shawn with a mystery girl at a Dunkin Donuts in Boston, Massachusetts earlier! Looks like Shawn is having some fun in Boston. I wonder who the girl is." It was captioned. I screenshot it and then sent it to Y/n. She soon texted back.

Y/n: Oh my gosh. Okay. Well, they don't know who I am, so we're fine. What are you up to?

Me: Yeah. My q and a starts in a little bit.

Y/n: Okay, have fun!

There was a knock at my door and my security guard, Jake Stras, who was with me earlier when I met Y/n, poked his head in.

"Ready for your q and a?" He asked. I nodded and got up and followed him to my q and a. The fans screamed when I walked in. Even though I knew that she wasn't going to be there, for some reason I still looked for Y/n's beautiful face when I walked in and sat down. Once the fans stopped screaming, I spoke, and went over the rules.

"So, just like always, all I ask is that if someone is asking a question, please don't talk over them." I said. There some of the normal, usual questions, and then someone asked the question that, for some reason, I wasn't expecting, but I really should've been.

"So, earlier today, you were seen at a Dunkin Donuts with a girl. Who is that girl and what can you tell us about her?" The person asked. I smiled at the thought of Y/n, and wondered how much I could say. Before I could say anything, someone else said something.

"She's very beautiful." They said. My smile widened, and suddenly my words came spilling out of my mouth before I could stop them. Once I started, it was like I couldn't stop.

"Isn't she so beautiful? She's the most beautiful girl that I've ever seen. She has these eyes - oh my gosh they're the most beautiful shade of y/e/c. And she is so sweet, and nice, and kind, and caring, and funny. Oh my gosh she's just wonderful - I need to stop talking about her before I accidentally say her name. I don't want to say her name, but I will say that we just met today." I said, blushing at all of the words I had said.

"Awww." The fans said and I smiled before picking someone else to ask a question.

"How big of a crush do you have on this girl?" A fan asked. I thought for a moment, unsure of what to say. Y/n has been a fan of mine for a while, and she told me that she follows fan accounts about me on Instagram and Twitter. What was I supposed to say to a fan who could've been recording a video that Y/n may have been able to see? That it had been love at first sight? That I already know that I'm going to marry her someday? I looked at the fan.

"Well, the thing is, I would say how big the crush is, but I know that she's a fan of mine and that she follows accounts that are about me, so I don't know if I'm ready to say how big the crush is because I don't think that I want her knowing, or at least not yet." I said. Someone else then asked a question when I called on them.

"Are you and the girl going to go on another date?" The person asked. I chuckled and looked down for a moment before looking up at my fans.

"Are all of these questions going to be about her? Because I'm not going to say her name." I asked and said.

"No." They said.

"Okay. Well, I'll be honest, we were talking today, and like, halfway through the date, she said that she's read every Harry Potter book and she's seen all of the movies, and I looked at her and said 'Can we go on another date tomorrow?' and she started laughing and she was like 'We're on a date right now.' and I said 'Yes, but I want to take you out on a date again tomorrow.' and she was laughing and said yes." I admitted before calling on someone else.

"Where are you guys going on your date?" She asked. I laughed.

"I can't tell you guys that! To be honest, I don't even fully know. She does though." I said with a shrug. I then called on someone else.

"Are you guys going to become girlfriend and boyfriend?" The girl asked. I smiled.

"We just met today, so I don't know. I mean, I hope so. Okay, no more questions about her please." I said, not wanting to say too much. After my q and a, I texted Y/n, and told her what had happened. She said that she had seen a live stream of the q and a, but she was just glad I didn't reveal her name. Four months later, we started dating. I'm so glad that I went to Dunkin Donuts.
