Earlier today, I married the singer and songwriter, Shawn Mendes. Him and I have been together for almost four and a half years, and they have been the best four and a half years of my life. I suddenly got an idea as I sat with Shawn at our table at our wedding reception. His arm was on the back of my chair and I turned to him more. He looked at me and smiled.

"Hubby, if I go and ask the dj to play a certain song, will you promise me that you'll dance with me to it?" I asked. Shawn nodded.

"Of course wifey. What song are you going to ask him to play?" Shawn asked. I smirked.

"It's going to be a surprise." I said. He chuckled.

"Whatever you say darling." Shawn said. I giggled and went over to the dj that we had hired.

"Hi there, how are you?" He asked. I smiled.

"I'm wonderful. How are you?" I asked.

"I'm good. Is there a certain song that you want me to play?" He asked. I nodded.

"Yes, could you play Señorita by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello next please?" I asked. He smiled and nodded.

"Sure. Once this song is finished I'll play it." He said.

"Thank you." I said.

"No problem." I said. As I was about to head back to mine and Shawn's table, I saw Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake waving me over, so I walked over to them.

"So what song did you request?" Justin asked. I smiled as Shawn walked over to us and wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Shawn is familiar with the song, but he doesn't know what song I requested." I said.

"All I know is that my wife turned to me and made me promise to dance with her to the song that she was going to ask the dj to play." Shawn said. The song that had been playing ended, and then we heard our dj speak.

"This one was requested by Mrs. Y/n Mendes." Our dj said. Shawn smiled at me and when Señorita started to play, Shawn began to laugh as he smiled and shook his head at me.

"You're crazy." He said as he put one hand on my waist, and joined the other hand with mine. I put one of my hands on his shoulders and smiled as we began to dance.

"Yeah, crazy in love with you." I said. Shawn smiled even wider.

Our eyes locked as we danced together, and everything else, not just in the room, but in the world, faded away. I laughed as Shawn twirled me and then pulled me close to him. When the chorus came on, Shawn picked me up and spun me, causing me to laugh and smile. He set me down and we continued to dance.

"You say, "We're just friends."" Camila sang in the song.

"You better not say that we're just friends." I said and Shawn laughed.

"No, trust me babe, we're more than friends." He said with a wink. I smiled.

"Don't let me fall" They sang as Shawn dipped me I laughed and smiled at him.

"I love you." I said before Shawn twirled me again.

"I love you too baby." He said.

"I love it when you call me "señorita"" They sang.

"Do you like it when I call you Señorita?" Shawn asked me.

"I prefer it when you call Mrs. Mendes." I said and Shawn smiled.

"Ooh I should be running" Camila sang in the song as I stepped away from Shawn, grabbed my wedding dress and moved it a bit as I danced. Shawn smiled and then we danced together some more.

"Ooh you keep me coming / For ya" Shawn and Camila sang in the song as Shawn lifted me into the air. Our eyes had never left each other. Before my feet had even touched the ground again, and as the song ended, Shawn and I heard our guests start to clap and cheer. Shawn and I looked around. Everyone had left the dancefloor but us. I looked at Shawn, my face red.

"When did everybody leave the dancefloor?" I asked. He chuckled and shrugged his shoulders.

"I have no clue. I was too focused on my beautiful and amazing wife to look at anything else." He said. I smiled, blushed, and buried my face in his chest. I then looked up at him and we held hands as we walked over to Camila Cabello. As our skin touched, I felt electricity spark through me, yet I felt safe and warm at the same time. Camila smiled at us.

"That was so beautiful!" She said.

"Thank you!" Shawn and I said.

"Hey, when did everybody leave the dancefloor? We literally didn't even notice that." I asked and said. Camila smiled.

"It was when the chorus played for the first time and Shawn lifted you up in the air. The funny thing is, no one said anything to each other, we all just left the dancefloor at the same time." She said. I smiled. We talked for a bit longer and then Shawn and I went up to Connor Brashier, who was videotaping our wedding.

"Did you videotape that?" I asked. He nodded.

"Yup." He said. I smiled and looked at Shawn who smiled back at me.

"I loved that moment. Should we head back to our table Mrs. Mendes?" Shawn asked. My heart fluttered at my new name, and I smiled and nodded.

"Yeah." I said. We went back to our table and sat down. I moved my chair so it was right up against Shawn's and he wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"I love you. I love you so much honey. You're my everything." Shawn said. My smile widened.

"I love you too. So, so, much, my love. You're my everything." I said. Shawn put his hand to my cheek and I leaned into his touch, not just because I wanted more of it, but also because I liked the feeling of his wedding band on my cheek. My eyes were locked with Shawn as we smiled at each other.

"You know what I would love to do right now Mrs. Mendes?" Shawn asked.

"What would you love to do right now Mr. Mendes?" I asked.

"I would love to kiss my newly wedded wife." He said. I nodded.

"Well, your newly wedded wife would love it if her husband kissed her." I said. Shawn's smile widened and he put his lips on mine. I felt my heart race as if I had just run a marathon, I felt butterflies erupt and fly around in my tummy, and I felt sparks shoot through my body like fireworks. Shawn and I soon pulled away and rested our forehead together as we smiled.

"Ready for eternity with each other?" Shawn asked. I put my hand to his cheek and rubbed it with my thumb gently as I pulled my forehead away from his.

"My love, I'm ready for anything with you." I said. Shawn kissed my cheek and then we danced the night away. I love Shawn so much, and I'm so happy and proud to be his wife.
