I stood there as my mom zipped up my floral patterned wedding dress. I had to reveal my dress to my bridesmaids, and I was excited for that. I was also excited for the fact that in a little bit, Brian Craigen would be dropping off a letter from my soon to be husband, the singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes.

"You look so beautiful honey." My mom said as tears filled her eyes.

"Oh my gosh don't cry because then I'll cry." I said with a laugh and my mom laughed too.

"Shawn's going to love the dress." My mom said. I smiled and looked at myself in the mirror. Wow, am I really getting married today? Yup, I am.

"Time to show my bridesmaids my dress." I said.

"Yup." My mom said. We walked into the other room, where all of my bridesmaids had their back to me. It looked like they were all holding hands

"Okay guys, you can turn around." I said. They did and they all smiled and squealed.

"Oh my gosh!" Jackie, one of my friends, said.

"You look amazing!" Grace, my best friend and maid of honor, said.

"Shawn's going to cry when he sees you." Aaliyah, Shawn's sister and one of my bridesmaids said. Karen, Shawn's mum, was smiling at me and had tears in her eyes.

"You look stunning." She said. I smiled.

"Thank you guys." I said. There was a knock at the door.

"I got it." Grace said. I smiled and smoothed out my dress. Gosh I hope that Shawn really does like it.

"I have something for the bride, from her groom." Brian said. I turned around and looked at him.

"Is it the letter?" I asked. He looked at me.

"I don't mean to cross a line, and Shawn might kill me for saying this, but you look beautiful." Brian said.

"Thank you. Do you think that Shawn will like it?" I asked. Brian nodded.

"Yup. Here's the letter from him." Brian said as he handed me an envelope. I carefully sat down and opened it up. Everyone gathered around me, and Aaliyah filmed me reading the letter out loud.

"Y/n,

"My darling, I bet you look absolutely beautiful. In fact, I know that you do. How do I know that? Because there is never a moment that you don't look stunning beyond words. I love waking up before you each morning that we're together. The sun comes in and hits your beautiful face just right, and each time this happens, the sight of you takes my breath away. You're the most beautiful being that I've ever laid eyes on and I can't wait to see the dress. I'm going to love it, so stop worrying about it, because I know that you're worried about that.

"I still remember when we first met. I fell for you right away and knew that I was going to marry you someday. Well, here we are my love, it's our wedding day. We get to spend eternity together and I simply cannot wait.

"Y/n, you're my best friend. You're my rock, my protector, my love, my everything. I'm beyond in love with you, and you mean the world to me and more. We've talked about our future together a million times, but we've never written down what we want. We want two girls and a boy, we want them each to be about two years apart, and we know what we want to name them. I love the fact that you picked out the names. I love the names so much.

"I've put rings on you before. The first ring that I put on you was a promise ring, and I promised you that someday I would switch it out for an engagement ring, and then someday I would switch the engagement ring out for a wedding ring. The second ring that I put on you was when I was down on one knee, and you said yes to marrying me. Both of those rings were temporary, but today, the ring that I will put on you will stay on you forever. I can't wait to put it on you, my darling.

"Right now I wish that I could wrap my arms around your shoulders as you wrap your arms around my waist, and I wish that I could rest my forehead against yours. We've done that a million times, but the next time that we do that, you'll feel my wedding band on you, and I'll feel your wedding ring on me, and I'll be able to call you Mrs. Y/n Mendes.

"You're the strongest person I know. You've said that what you love about me most that aren't things that you can touch are my heart and my soul. Well my darling, what I love the most about you that I can't touch is how strong you are. You have faced hardships and struggles in your life, but you bounce back and push through, all with a beautiful smile on your beyond beautiful face. I admire you so much and I'm constantly in awe of you.

"Y/n, I love you more than words will ever be able to describe. You are my strong, sweet, precious, darling, beautiful girl, and soon you will be my strong, sweet, precious, darling, beautiful wife. I can't wait to be your husband. I'll be the one in a suit - and don't worry, my hair will be just the way you like it. I love you honey.

"Your soon to be husband." Shawn wrote. I wiped away tears carefully so I wouldn't smudge my makeup.

"Oh my gosh that's so beautiful." I said. Everyone smiled at me. Soon, it was time for me to walk down the aisle. I did, and soon Shawn and I became husband and wife. I love Shawn, my husband, so much.
