My boyfriend of three years, Shawn Mendes, is coming home from tour tomorrow and I can't wait. He told me not to wait up for him because, since he would be flying from London to Boston, and so I would be staying up all night. I woke up to the feeling of someone wrapping their arm around me and I jumped.

"Shhh darling, it's just me." Shawn whispered. I smiled and relaxed into his touch. It was still a bit dark out.

"Hey baby. What time is it?" I asked. Shawn checked his phone.

"Four in the morning." Shawn said as he wrapped his arm around me again. I nodded and snuggled closer to him.

"Okay. I missed you baby." I said. Shawn kissed the top of my head.

"I missed you too my darling girl." Shawn said.

"Are you tired or jet lagged or anything?" I asked.

"A little bit. Why? Did you want to get up or something?" Shawn asked. I thought for a moment.

"I don't know. Let's lay in bed for a little bit longer. I like being in your arms and I've missed the feel of safety and warmth that you always give me." I said. Shawn kissed the top of my head again and hummed as he placed the kiss there.

"I hope that I'm always able to give you those feelings honey. You'll always be safe and warm in my arms my darling girl. I promise." Shawn said. I held him closer to me and rubbed his back a little.

"I know you'll always give me those feelings because we're going to be together forever, right Shawn?" I asked. I felt him nod his head since his head was still resting on top of mine.

"Yup. Always and forever, you and I." Shawn said, causing me to smile.

"Can we lay in bed for a little bit longer before we get up please?" I asked.

"Of course darling. Whatever you want." Shawn said. I smiled and kissed his clothed chest. "Tilt your head up towards me baby." Shawn said, and I did as told and looked at him.

"What's up my love?" I asked.

"I just want your face tilted up towards me so when the sun comes in I can just look at your beautiful face." Shawn said, and I blushed.

"You're the sweetest." I said. Shawn chuckled.

"Nope. That's you my love. Now rest." He said. I nodded and closed my eyes. When I opened them a little bit later, Shawn was staring at me while he smiled.

"Good morning handsome." I said. He kissed my forehead and the spot that he kissed was left feeling tingly even after his lips left it.

"Good morning gorgeous. I was thinking while you were asleep." Shawn said.

"I thought that I could smell something burning." I teased. Shawn chuckled.

"Shush. No, I have an idea. Do you want to hear it?" He asked as he rubbed my back. I nodded.

"Shawn, I want to hear all of your ideas." I said with a smile, and he smiled back.

"Well, since I'm home now, we should go on a picnic today." He said. My smile widened.

"I like that idea." I said.

"Good. I think that we have one of those old fashioned picnic baskets somewhere, so we can use that and go to the park and have a picnic." Shawn said. I nodded.

"Do you know what I've missed?" I asked.

"What have you missed my darling girl?" Shawn asked. I smiled and put my thumb to his lips and gently rubbed. He smiled, knowing what I was about to say.

"These lips. These soft, pink, plump, amazing lips." I said. Shawn put his lips on mine and our lips moved in perfect synchronization. I felt my heart race as if I had just run a marathon, I felt butterflies erupt and fly around in my tummy, and I felt sparks shoot through my body like fireworks. Shawn and I pulled away and smiled at each other for a moment as we caught our breaths.

"Come on baby, let's go make our breakfast and then once we're done eating, we'll get ready for the picnic." Shawn said as he got out of bed. I nodded and got out of bed too. Shawn immediately came around to my side of the bed and hugged me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and as I wrapped my arms around his broad shoulders, he buried his face in my neck.

"I love you Shawn." I said, and he smiled into my neck before placing a gentle and loving kiss there.

"I love you too Y/n." He said and then pulled away, but held his hand out for me to take. I interlaced my fingers with his and felt electricity spark through me, yet I felt safe and warm at the same time. We went downstairs and Shawn picked me up and put me on the counter so we could talk while he made our pancakes. We talked, and then when the pancakes were done, we sat down at the table and ate them.

Later on, we packed up some stuff and went to a local park for a picnic. Shawn had made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and brought orange juice. We laid a blanket down and sat there. I stared at him for a moment, and when he looked up, he gave me a funny look.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing. Just thinking." I said.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked. I shook my head.

"It's nothing." I said. He chuckled and shook his head.

"You're so stubborn. Remember the no secrets deal we made in the beginning of our relationship?" He asked. I sighed and nodded.

"Yes." I said.

"Okay. So, why did you have an interesting look on your gorgeous face?" He asked.

"No, I don't want to say it. What if you think it's weird?" I asked. He shook his head as he set down his food and looked at me.

"Nope. Tell me babe." He said. I sighed again.

"So, I don't want to sound weird but, sorry I'm having trouble finding the words." I said.

"It's okay. Take your time." He said. I nodded.

"To me, it's like, I'm so beyond in love with you. I really am. Shawn, I basically worship you and the ground that you walk on. To me, you're like a god or something. I know that people shouldn't be held up on pedestals, but you're just so amazing and I love you so much." I said. Shawn smiled at me. He then waved for me to come over and sit on his lap, so I did.

"That was beautiful, and not at all weird. Darling, I feel the same way about you." Shawn said.

"Really?" I asked. He nodded.

"Yup. I worship you and everything that you do. I call you Aphrodite for a reason. Remember that Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love?" Shawn asked. I nodded as I smiled.

"Yeah. But did you know that Aphrodite could be seductive and vain?" I asked.

"Well, you're definitely not vain, but seductive?" Shawn asked as his eyes widened. I giggled.

"What?" I asked.

"Remember the last time that I came home? Remember what you were wearing?" He asked. I thought for a moment and then blushed.

"A small pink robe." I said. He nodded.

"Yup. You're not as innocent as you seem to be, but I love it." Shawn said. I smirked.

"I know how to push your buttons in the right way, which ones to push, and when to push them." I said. Shawn chuckled and shook his head.

"You drive me crazy, my love." He said. I blushed.

"Well you drive me too, and you know how to push my buttons too." I said. He blushed and pretended to act innocently.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He said. I lightly smacked his chest.

"Let's lay on the ground and cuddle and I'll tell you." I said. Shawn nodded as I got off of his lap. He was wearing a white shirt with an orange jacket and black jeans. He laid down on the grass and I cuddled up next to him. I laid on my stomach a little and put my chin on his chest. He looked at me with such love in his eyes and it caused my heart to flutter as I smiled.

"So are you going to tell me what you're talking about?" He asked. I giggled and nodded as he wrapped one of his arms around me.

"Well, sometimes, when it's in the morning and I'm still in bed but you know that I'm awake, you'll step out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around your waist, but you let it hang low. I remember one time, I bit my thumb so I wouldn't groan at the gorgeous sight of the low towel and you're sexy back muscles. When you noticed this, you just smirked at me." I said. Shawn chuckled.

"Yeah, I like to tease you like that. You see, I know that you think I'm sexy so -" Shawn started.

"No. I don't think that you're sexy. I know that you're sexy." I said. Shawn laughed.

"Well, either way, I know how you feel about me, and I know how to push your buttons too." Shawn said. I smiled.

"I really want to makeout with you right now, but we're in a public place." I said with a giggle. Shawn laughed.

"So what? Come give me a kiss babe." Shawn asked and said. I smirked as I moved my body up and we kissed again. Shawn kept one hand on my back and another hand on the back of my head. He licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance, which I granted him, and because we hadn't made out in a while, I let his tongue dominate. Shawn moaned a little, and that's when I pulled away. Shawn's eyes were dark with lust.

"We probably shouldn't continue this here." I said.

"Yeah, let's go home." Shawn said.

"Wait, you know that I'm waiting for marriage before I have sex." I said. Shawn smirked.

"Yes, but there's other stuff that we can do." Shawn said. I blushed, knowing what he wanted. We soon left and went home. After doing some stuff, which I won't even say what we did, Shawn and I cuddled in bed.

"Thank you for today honey." I said. Shawn kissed my forehead and then rested his forehead against mine.

"You're welcome darling. I love you." He said.

"I love you too." I said, and then we napped. I love Shawn so much.
