A/n: Okay so I know that it's hard to tell but a crap ton of people are saying that that's Shawn's ex-girlfriend Lauren that he's talking to in the picture. They were at a club with some of his friends. I don't know if she went back to his condo with his other friends but I added that it here. I'm also not sure if Shawn lost his virginity to Lauren but I think he did. Explicit language in this one. Okay, I hope that you guys enjoy this imagine! Okay, let's begin.

I woke up around four in the morning for some reason. I opened my eyes and saw that I was the only one in bed and that my boyfriend of almost three years, Shawn Mendes, was not there, but this didn't surprise me. You see, Shawn is going on tour soon, so he wanted to hang out with his friends up in Toronto, and then he would fly home to Boston to be home with me in a few days. I miss him so much.

I checked Instagram as I laid in bed. I smiled as I saw that Shawn had gone clubbing the night before with some of his friends. But I then lost that smile when I saw a clip of Shawn clubbing with his ex girlfriend Lauren. Shawn still has his condo in Toronto for when he goes up there and visits, and I couldn't help but wonder if, when he took some of his friends back there like I saw in a couple of videos, she went there too. A few hours later, I called Shawn while having a knot in my stomach from nerves.

"Good morning beautiful." Shawn said.

"Good morning handsome." I said.

"How did you sleep last night?" He asked. I sighed.

"I woke up at like, four. I don't know why though. Um, I have to ask you a question." I said.

"Sure, what is it?" Shawn asked.

"I saw on Instagram that you went clubbing last night. Was, um, was Lauren there?" I asked. I heard Shawn sigh.

"Yes." Shawn said.

"Did she go back to your condo with you and your friends?" I asked. Shawn sighed again.

"Yes." He said. There was a long pause of silence and it felt like my heart was hurting.

"Um, I've been up since four and I have homework to do. I have to go." I said before hanging up. I then broke down crying. I trust Shawn, I do, but what if something happened between them? No, Shawn wouldn't do that to me. My phone rang. It was Shawn and I declined it. The home phone then rang so I ran downstairs to answer it, but when I saw that it was Shawn, I didn't answer it. He left a voicemail telling me to call him but I didn't. I then got a text from him.

My love: Baby, please call me.

I didn't call him. Instead, I opened up the book that I was reading for homework, but I had a hard time focusing on the words. I then checked Twitter and saw that Shawn had tweeted to me.

". @yourusername please call me baby. I know that you're upset but please just call me so we can work this out." He tweeted. I sighed and didn't respond to his tweet. A couple of hours later, the door swung open and Shawn walked in. I stared at him in shock.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"We need to work this out and you weren't responding to my texts or calls or tweets or anything, so I decided to fly here." Shawn said. I nodded as I held back tears. "Baby, what can I do to make this better?"

"Don't go clubbing with your fucking ex girlfriend who you lost your virginity to and then invite her back to your place after!" I yelled as the tears started to spill over. Shawn looked surprised at my yelling as his eyes widened. There was a pause before he began to speak.

"Scream at me." Shawn said.

"What?" I asked.

"Scream at me. Yell at me. Throw pillows at me. Get your anger out so we can fix this." Shawn said. I was surprised but then picked up a pillow and threw it at him. He smacked it away, so I threw another one at him, which he also smacked away. I then started yelling at him as I cried.

"How could you?! How could you go clubbing with your fucking ex girlfriend and then invite her back to your place? Why do you even still have that place when you have a whole damn house with me here? Do you even fucking want me Shawn?" I asked. Shawn's eyes widened at my last question. He tried to take a few steps forward towards me but I backed up.

"Of course I want you Y/n. I've wanted you from the moment that I laid eyes on you and I want you for the rest of my life." Shawn said. I had had a rough few days and it was like I couldn't stop sobbing. I put my hands on my knees and bent over as I sobbed. I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't fucking touch me." I said as I jumped back, and Shawn stepped back too.

"I want you honey, I really do." Shawn said. I stood up fully and looked at him.

"I can't lose you Shawn! You are the most handsome man and the most amazing man that I have ever met in my whole entire life, and I love you with everything fiber in me, every cell in my body. Lauren could easily take you away from me in the blink of the eye and I'm so scared that that's going to happen. I can't lose you Shawn, because if I did, I would be losing myself too." I said as I sobbed. Shawn took slow steps toward me and I let him this time. He then put both of his hands on the side of my face and held it gently.

"Y/n, you're never, ever, ever going to lose me. I love you with everything in me too. No one, not a single fucking person, could take me away from you. Not even my parents or Aaliyah. I don't know why I have the condo up in Toronto. The bills for it are just making me pay extra money that I could be saving to use for our future wedding. I'll call a realtor later today and get the place on the market. I love you honey and I want you and only you. Not Lauren. Just you." Shawn said. I practically collapsed into his arms as I hugged him. He rubbed my back as he hugged me back.

"I love you too and I just want you." I said.

"You have me baby. Until every single last star in the galaxy dies, you have me." Shawn said. My tears slowed down as I buried my face in Shawn's chest and he continued to rub my back. I looked up at him.

"I just love you so much Shawn." I said. He kissed my forehead and the spot that he had kissed was left feeling tingly even after his lips were no longer there.

"I love you so much too. I knew that you were the one for me the second that I laid eyes on you Y/n. I'm always going to want you, and I'll choose you over everything." Shawn said. I smiled at him. "There's that gorgeous smile that I love so much." Shawn said with a smile, causing me to blush and giggle.

"You have an amazing smile too." I said. Shawn smiled at me and then buried his face in my neck. A few thoughts popped into my head. "Shawn?"

"Yes baby?" Shawn asked as he picked his head up.

"Um, I'm really sorry that I threw the pillows at you and screamed at you." I said. Shawn shook his head.

"It's fine. I told you to do it." Shawn said. I nodded.

"I'm not trying to be controlling, and I'm not trying to start another fight, but it doesn't really make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that you're still all buddy buddy with your ex that you were with for two years." I said as I looked down. Shawn then took his index finger and put it underneath my chin so he could lift my head up so I could look him in the eyes.

"I probably should have mentioned this, but I'm not friends with her anymore." Shawn said.

"What do you mean? You guys were just hanging out together last night." I asked and said. Shawn nodded and then sat down on the couch. He patted the couch and I sat down next to him.

"When we were at my condo, she tried to get me to sleep with her." Shawn said.

"WHAT?" I yelled. Shawn put his hand on my arm and rubbed it to help calm me down.

"She tried to get me into the bedroom so I could sleep with her but I kept telling her that I love my girlfriend and that I could never do that to you. I told her that her and I could no longer be friends and so she left." Shawn said. I felt furious.

"Do you want to know what I want to do right now?" I asked. Shawn looked nervous.

"Oh God, what do you want to do right now?" He asked.

"I want to message her over Instagram and tell her to never come near you ever again and to stay in her fucking lane. That's unacceptable. She knows that you're dating me, yet she still tried to get you in bed." I said. Shawn thought for a moment.

"I'm just worried that if you do message her, a fight will be started." Shawn said. I thought for a moment and sighed.

"Ugh. If she had just stayed in her lane that would have been fine and dandy." I said. Shawn started laughing, then stopped.

"Sorry. Wrong time to laugh. Dandy just sounds like a funny word." Shawn said, causing me to laugh. I then stopped.

"Do you still follow her on social media sites?" I asked. Shawn shook his head.

"No. I unfollowed her." Shawn said. I nodded.

"Ugh I want to message her soooo badly." I said. Shawn thought for a moment before shrugging.

"If you want to, I can't stop you." Shawn said. I nodded. I normally dread confrontation but this girl needs to be put in her place. I messaged her.

Yourusername: Hey Lauren, so I heard that you tried to get MY boyfriend to sleep with you last night, and I just want to say that I honestly feel insulted by that. You KNOW that Shawn and I are dating yet you did that? Please just stay in your lane and stay away from my man.

Shawn nodded and approved the message before I sent it. Lauren responded after a few minutes.

Laurenzzo_: Girl, I just wanted Shawn to have some fun. I heard him say that you're saving yourself for marriage and I just want Shawn to loosen up a bit before tour starts for him.

"She heard you say that I'm saving myself for marriage. Who did you say that to?" I asked Shawn.

"I was talking to Matt. He asked if I was 'getting any' as of recently." Shawn said as he rolled his eyes.

Yourusername: Okay but what you wanted Shawn to do is called CHEATING and you should know that he would never do that to anyone. Just stay in your lane, it's not that hard.

Laurenzzo_: Whatever. He told me that we couldn't be friends anymore so you don't have to worry.

I showed Shawn the messages and he nodded.

"Okay. Enough messaging with my ex girlfriend. Come cuddle with me baby girl." Shawn said and pulled me onto his lap. I set my phone down and wrapped my arms around his shoulders before kissing his cheek.

"We should take a selfie or something and post it so your fans know that we're all good." I said. Shawn nodded and grabbed his phone. He then took a selfie of me kissing his cheek as he smiled at the camera. He posted it on Instagram and captioned it with a few red heart emojis and wrote "my love." which made me smile. I then posted another picture that we had just taken where we were smiling at each other as he held me.

"In his arms is right where I need to be." I captioned it. Shawn commented with hearts and wrote "Love you so damn much baby girl." causing me to smile.

"Fuck." Shawn said as he looked at his phone a few minutes later.

"What?" I asked.

"Lauren commented on my post saying that she misses me. I'm just going to block her." Shawn said. I nodded and blocked her too.

"Shawny?" I asked as Shawn kept his arms wrapped around me.

"Yes my queen?" He asked, causing me to smile.

"Can we cuddle for the rest of the day?" I asked. Shawn chuckled and nodded.

"Of course, but first, I need a kiss." Shawn said. I smiled at him.

"I will gladly kiss you all day if that was what you wanted." I said. Shawn smiled at me.

"I always want to kiss you. Do you think that you really need your lips? I would like to take them on tour with me so I can kiss them anytime that I want." Shawn asked and said, causing me to laugh.

"Oh my gosh. Just shush and kiss me, you fool." I said with a laugh. Shawn had one hand on my back and put another hand on the back of my head as he pulled me in for a kiss. Our lips made contact and I felt sparks shoot through my body like fireworks, I felt my heart race as if I had just run a marathon, and I felt butterflies erupt and fly around in my tummy. Shawn and I pulled away and leaned our foreheads together as we smiled at each other.

"I love you baby girl." Shawn said. My smile widened.

"I love you too baby boy. You're mine." I said. Shawn nodded.

"That's right. I'm yours, and you're mine. We belong to each other and it's going to remain like that until the end of time." Shawn said. I'm so lucky to have a guy like Shawn who is willing to drop everything just to get on a plane and fix a problem. I love him so much.
