A/n: Okay so during the Illuminate tour, during one of the stops at a q and a session, a fan gave Shawn a little hand that he could put on his finger and the video of it is so cute with his reaction omg. But anyways, I was thinking about it and then this imagine idea popped into my head. I hope that you guys enjoy this. Okay, let's begin!

Shawn's point of view

I'm currently in the middle of tour. It's the summer, and because my girlfriend, Y/n Y/l/n, has no school, I asked her to join me for tour. I was very happy when she said yes. I was in Chicago and at one of my q and a sessions. My girlfriend had decided to stay behind in my dressing room during the q and a. I picked one girl who then raised her hand to show me that she had a little hand on her finger.

"Woah." I said.

"Do you want this little hand?" She asked.

"I would love this little hand. Could you toss it to me please?" I asked.

"Sure." The girl said, and I caught it. I put it on my finger and started playing around with it, causing my fans to laugh.

"So, my girlfriend is on tour with me and I would love to see her reaction to this. Actually, do you have an extra one that I could give to her?" I asked.

"Yeah." The same girl said and tossed me another one. I then got an idea.

"Would you guys mind if Y/n came in here and joined us? I want to see her reaction." I asked and said with a laugh. The fans cheered and said that they wanted her, so I pulled out my phone and texted her.

Your point of view

I was sitting backstage in my boyfriend Shawn Mendes's dressing room when suddenly I got a text from him. That's weird. He's in a q and a right now.

My love: Hey babe, can you come to my q and a pleeeeease? I have something that I really want to show you.

Me: Sure, I'm on my way.

I got up and told Andrew that Shawn wanted me. He then led me down the hall and to where Shawn's q and a was being held. I suddenly became nervous. I don't like being in front of a lot of people, but I love Shawn, so I'll do this for him. I walked in the door and the fans started cheering. I smiled at them and then turned to look at Shawn. He put up his hand to wave at me, and on his index finger was a little hand that looked creepy.

"Hi babe." Shawn said with a wave.

"What the heck?" I asked as I took a step back. Shawn started to laugh.

"A fan gave it to me. Look, I got you one too." Shawn said. I walked over to him and hesitantly took it from him.

"Um, thank you." I said. The fans laughed.

"Do you want to join me up here?" He asked. I nodded. Shawn went to lift me up to put me on the table so I could sit with him, but I stopped him.

"Can you please take the little hand off? It's creeping me out." I asked and said with a laugh and Shawn laughed too.

"Sure." He said and then took the hand off. He then picked me up and put me on the table. I took the little hand that Shawn had gotten from a fan and given to me and looked at it.

"Should I... should I put it on?" I asked. Shawn couldn't stop laughing.

"Do it, I dare you to put it on." Shawn said. I did and Shawn almost fell off the table laughing. I looked at him.

"We should high five." I said.

"Wait, should we high five with our actual hands or with the little hands?" Shawn asked. Now it was my turn to almost fall off the table from laughing so hard.

"I never thought that I would hear you say that sentence." I said.

"You never answered my question." Shawn pointed out.

"We should try to high five with the little hands." I said. Shawn and I tried it and were successful.

"Oh my gosh this is hilarious." Shawn said. I then looked at the fans.

"Wait, did any of you guys take a picture of my reaction to my silly boyfriend waving at me with the little hand?" I asked. One girl nodded.

"I did." She said.

"Can you please post that on Twitter? I want to save it to my phone. Actually, would you mind if I posted it on Instagram?" I asked. The girl smiled and shook her head.

"No, not at all. My Twitter is (random Twitter name)." She said. I pulled out my phone and went to her Twitter. I followed her and saw that she already posted the picture. I liked the post and then saved the photo to my phone.

"Thank you." I said to the girl.

"You're welcome." She said with a smile. I then looked at Shawn.

"I was just about to ask you if you could help me write an Instagram caption for that but, and I say this is the nicest way possible, you're terrible at captions." I said, causing everyone to laugh, including Shawn.

"It's true. Okay, let's do the next question. Hey wait, babe, what would you do if one day you woke up after I put this little hand next to your head?" Shawn asked.

"I would run far, far away." I said, causing everyone to laugh. Shawn then chose the next person to ask a question.

"My question is for Shawn. Um, why is it that ever since you started dating Y/n, your captions have gotten better?" The girl asked. I laughed and Shawn smiled.

"That's because Y/n typically helps me with the captions." Shawn said, and the fans laughed. Shawn picked someone else.

"Is it hard to fall asleep on a tour bus?" The girl asked.

"I'm used to it, so I fall asleep on the tour bus perfectly fine, but this one," Shawn said as he pointed at me, causing me to giggle. "Isn't used to it so she has a hard time falling asleep."

"In my defense, I have never been one to be able to fall asleep in a moving vehicle. Like, ever, in my whole entire life." I said. Shawn wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer. I smiled at him and kissed his cheek. He looked at me and smiled.

"You're cute." He said.

"You're cuter." I said. Shawn laughed.

"Well you're the cutest." He said. I shook my head and laughed before leaning my head on him.

"GET MARRIED ALREADY!" Someone yelled, causing everyone to laugh, and my face turned red.

"Oh I'm definitely going to marry this girl someday. Hopefully sooner rather than later. But, like, I don't want to be on tour and leave her to plan a wedding all by herself." Shawn said. I smiled at him and he kissed the top of my head. Shawn picked someone else.

"Is Y/n staying with you for the rest of tour?" The person asked. Shawn looked at me so I could answer.

"I really wish that I could, but I'm a college student, so I have to go back to school in September. But it's fun being on tour. I'm enjoying it." I said with a smile.

"You like watching the same show every single night?" Shawn asked with a smile. I nodded.

"Yeah. I like it a lot." I said. Shawn's smile widened. Soon, the q and a was over and Shawn and I left the room. As soon as we were out of the room, he interlaced his fingers with mine. I felt sparks shoot through me, yet his touch felt inviting, safe, and warm.

"Did you have fun at the q and a?" Shawn asked as he began to swing our hands, causing me to laugh. I nodded.

"Yup." I said.

"Are you going to be on the side of the stage for the show tonight?" Shawn asked.

"Yeah. You're so amazing Shawn. I mean it. Like, when you perform, you give it your all and put everything you have into it. I swear, you were born to perform." I said. Shawn smiled and then put his arm around my waist, so I put my arm around him too.

"I love you." He said. I smiled at him.

"I love you too." I said. After Shawn's concert, when we were on the tour bus, I posted the picture of my reaction to Shawn waving at me with a little hand.

"This was my reaction when I walked into my boyfriend's q and a only to see him waving at me with a small hand on his finger. He also gave me one and we did a little hand high five. Shawn, thanks for almost making me fall off the table because I was laughing so hard at the little hands, and thanks for catching me. Love you lots." I captioned it. Shawn laughed at the caption and then commented on it.

"This hand has given me a new way to torment you, lol. I'll always catch you. Love you lots too babe." Shawn wrote. We then cuddled up in the bed that was in the tour bus and fell asleep. I love this boy so much, even when he creeps me out with little hands.
