It was February 14th which was Valentine's day.

Shawn and I didn't really have anything happening expect meeting my parents.

I was fine with it but Shawn on the other hand was a nervous wreck.

We laid in our bed with Shawn in between my legs.

I played with his hair and I laughed softly.

"What's so funny?" asked Shawn getting up and facing me.

"Just how nervous you are for tonight"

"Oh shit. I forgot and now I'm more nervous thanks to you" said Shawn burying his face in his hands.

"Babe you'll be fine. My mom will love you and my dad too"

"I'm more nervous because your dad. Everyone knows dads are harsh" said Shawn giving me a small smile.

"You love music and me, my dad loves me and music. You'll get along fine Shawny"

"I hope so. I got to shower" said Shawn getting off the bed.

"Can I join?" I said smirking

"Uh not today sorry" grunted Shawn and turning his back on me.

Usually if Shawn answered that to me I would throw a fit but I guessed he's nervous so I let him have time by himself.

I finally was done with my makeup and clothes. I looked in the mirror and was satisfied.

"Wow. Holy fuck you are hot" said Shawn kissing my neck from behind.

"Same to you. It's almost 6:30 we better start going"

"Of course. Let's go" said Shawn holding my hand and going to the door.

"So Shawn, how was the tour?" asked my mom while serving herself food.

"It was amazing. I learned a lot but one thing I didn't like was not having (y/n) there" said Shawn placing his hand on my shoulder.

"And Shawn what do you see yourself in 10 years?" asked my dad out of nowhere.

"Well, I like to think I'll be happily married with kids and of course be successful with my music" responded Shawn

"That's good" said my dad smiling.

(Time skip)

"Well that wasn't so bad" said Shawn while taking off his tie.

"I told you"

I was already in bed and I patted the empty space for Shawn to come.

"Happy Valentine's day baby"

I took out a card and gave it to him.

Kissing him on the lips I didn't see him take out a present.

"And happy Valentine's to you" said Shawn giving me the present.

I opened it and I gasped it was a teddybear and some candy.

"I love it Shawn"

"There's more keep looking." said Shawn pointing to the bag.

I dug deeper and found a small black box.

Opening it I gasped it was a diamond ring.

"(y/n) I love you and I want to be with you forever. I know you aren't ready to get married that's why it's a promise ring" said Shawn placing the ring on my finger.

"Oh Shawn!! I love you so much! I promise I will be with you till I die"

"I love you more" said Shawn giving me a kiss.
