Shawn's POV

I'm at a beach and I'm alone. I then see that I have a surfboard with me. I decideto go surfing - I've never been before but no harm in trying.

I paddle into the sea and begin to surf over the waves. One, two, three waves and counting. This is fun! Four, five six. Then there is an eerie calmness...I'm not sure why, but I'm scared to death. It feels like something awful is going to happen.

It then hits me.

A massive wave of water engulfs me, and I'm dragged to the bottom of the ocean. I'm screaming for help but there's no use... I'm drowning in a flood of water, and I can't swim up. I'm completely trapped. I can feel the cold water hitting me - wait...

I shoot up in bed after realising it was a dream. I'm panting heavily, and Shannon, my girlfriend is with me. I dig my head into her chest.

Shannon's POV

I goto get a drink from the kitchen and I'm surprised when I hear screaming. I run back into the bedroom and see Shawn tossing and turning. I gently pour the cold water I had in my hand onto his sweaty head, and he instantly shot up, leaning his head on my shoulder. I then notice the tears.

"Shawn what's up?" I ask him, cupping his cheek.

"I...I was drowning and I couldn't get out and..."

"It's okay it was just a dream. I'm here now, let's get you to sleep." We lay in bed and he rests his head onto my shoulder. I stroke his hair and ease him to sleep.

This was so short but I've had so much stuDYING to do that I'm DYING. OMG MY HUMOUR IS ALSO DYING. SORRY. IMMA GO NOW XX
