Wryliegh's POV

I get home from the meet and greet and look inside the bracelet Shawn gave me - it had his number in it. Oh my god. I quickly text it.

Hey Shawn, its Wryliegh from the m&g x

Why did I put an x? Oh well. It's sent now.

Hey Wryliegh. Its Shawn. Was wondering if you want to meet me at Starbucks tomorrow morning? Xx

Was Shawn asking me out?

Of course. I'll be there at 11am x

And send. He replied fast again.

The next morning

I get up early and shower, curl my hair and put on light makeup. I choose an outfit.

I put on some black Chelsea boots and go to Starbucks.

I see that Shawn is early and he stands up for me.

"Hey Wryliegh. How are you?" He asks me, hugging me. I'm freaking out right now!

"I'm good. Really good. What about you?"

"I'm okay. What do you want? I'll pay." He offers.

"I'll have a (insert starbucks order. Mines a chocolate frappie obvs.)"

"Okay I'll be back in a sec." He gets up and orders our drinks and comes back. "So what do you do?" He asks me, sipping his drink.

"I'm studying (insert what you study here.)"

"That's cool. Do you study here or?"

"I go to NYU."

"Nice." There's a short pause and Shawn takes a deep breath. "Listen Wryliegh. I have to tell you something. From the moment I saw you I was instantly attracted to you. I knew we would get along like best friends and I really...I...will you go out with me?"

I'm shook. Did the Shawn Peter Raul Mendes ask me out?

"I...of course!" A perfect smile spreads across his perfect face we stand and my arms go around his neck. We look into each other's eyes and our lips connect.

In that moment nothing else in the world mattered but us. We felt invincible. That moment changed my life.

Flash forward

"And that's how I met your daddy sweetheart." I tell our five year old daughter, who is sitting on Shawn's lap, holding her dad's hand.

"Was my favourite day." Shawn says, kissing his daughter's head.
