Louise's POV

Today is the day that Shawn is coming on our family holiday to Miami. Our flight is at 9am and its 7 30am right now and we are just getting ready to leave.

"Shawn!" I see him coming up the driveway with his mum. "We are leaving in 5"

"Take care of yourself hunny" Karen tells him and gives him a quick cheek kiss before leaving.

"Louise! Shawn! In the car!" My mum shouts.

The journey to the airport is relatively uneventful.

"Shawn wake up" I shake his head off my shoulder and he wakes up.

"I'll get your bag." Shawn gets my luggage and we go straight onto the runway as we were using Shawn's private jet.

We get onto the plane and my six year old niece Sophie goes and sits with Shawn.

"Sophie sit with your mummy as Shawn needs to sleep." I tell her and she obeys. Shawn instantly moves his head onto my lap and I feel his grip around my leg tighten as we take off. "Shawn are you scared of flying?"

"No!" He lies, but then nods his head. I stroke his hair to calm him and he is soon asleep. Again. Shawn learned to sleep anywhere and anytime because of his career.

We land and go into our hotel room. Shawn and I have a double room to ourselves, my parents have their own room and my niece and sister are sharing. I hear a knock on the door and in walks Sophie.

"Can you play on the beach with me?" She asks Shawn innocently.

"Of course sweetie pie but only if your mum agrees." He responds, kneeling to her level and offering her a hug.

"Okay" she hugs back and doesn't let go for a while. Did she?

"Shawn lets go to the beach" I suggest.

"We have to wait for Sophie now I don't want to upset her." That damn politeness!

"Okay that's fine." I say, tying my hair up into a messy bun. Sophie comes in a minute later with her pink bucket and spade.

"Let's go" Shawn says. Sophie grabs Shawn's hand as we walk out of the hotel, and Shawn laughs.

We go onto the beach and I lay down on the sand and start reading a novel I bought. Shawn takes his shirt off (😍😍😍😍😍😍) and helps Sophie build her sandcastle.

"Hey Louise" he lays next to me. I sit up and cradle his head in my lap.

"You know I get the feeling she likes you." I laugh.

"Are you jel eh" he jokes and I hit his arm playfully. Sophie comes up to us and Shawn sits up.

"Hey sweetie" Shawn says to her and lets her sit on his knee. "Are you okay?" He asks her, gently moving her bangs out of her face.

"I'm sleepy" she replies, getting comfortable on Shawn's lap.

"Lets go back then princess." Shawn carries her back to the hotel room. My sister and parents were at the beach so Sophie came into our room. Shawn lays her down in bed and changes his shorts.

"I'm gonna take a shower." I say, and then give Shawn a quick kiss.

I dry my hair in the bathroom and put on my pyjama shorts with a simple tee. I come out of the bathroom and see Shawn and Sophie asleep on my bed, Shawn's arms wrapped protectively around her.
