Andy stood against a tree deep in Ilex Forest. His 'friends' were packing up the camp behind him, Lynn shooting him dirty looks for not helping.

"Oh hey, people. Good to see you again. I only had to wait fifteen years for my big debut. And now that I've let Author improve his skills and write his stories he's finally giving me a shot.

"So why do I know everything that's going on in your world? Long story short my pops ran a museum (lame) and had a weird rock called the Lustrous Orb. Palkia wanted it and that's where things changed. See I wanted to know of the other worlds and freak people out.

"So what happened was I knew Palkia had knowledge of other worlds. And I wanted that knowledge. So I have him the rock and he granted me knowledging stuff. Now the only problem was my pops was peeved! Apparently, the rock was what kept people coming to the museum so long story very short we had a falling out."

Andy still had the smug grin on his face. "So I'm sure you're all very bored from all the exposition. Maybe Author will add some action?" No, I won't. C'mon man! Andy wrote in a book that he was holding. "Oh, right I should probably explain this. Bonus prize, I got this book. And now I can edit it whenever and read ahead."

Andy put the book away. "If you're wondering I gave the exposition dump so there aren't any surprises or secrets. Totally unnecessary."

"Andy are you even going to bother helping!" Lynn shouted.

"No! Why in the world do you think I would even consider that! Man, she is just... something." Andy sighed. "Hey, Auth we should probably give them a description of what I look like." Andy was a tall male with green eyes and long brown hair that fell past his eyes. He was wearing an orange undershirt with a green jacket over it, brown shorts, and red sneakers. He also could shoot lazers from his eyes and was way awesome! That's not how you spell lasers and none of the bolded parts was true.

Lynn came stomping over. "I don't even know why I tolerate you, Andy!"

"I don't either. No wait yes I do. You need me in case those Houndoom attack you and Alex again because you won't let him have a Pokémon and you can't beat them on your own."

"Could you at least try to make yourself useful?"

Andy feigned looking offended. "I am! I'm giving the readers exposition and battling Author on how cool I am and how lazers is spelled!"

Lynn sighed. "You and this crazy 'Author' stuff again. I oughtta take you to a doctor since you're insane! Maybe then I can get rid of you." Author you forgot to give the audience a visualization! I was getting to that! Lynn was a girl with blue eyes that were blazing with passion, along with her blue hair, which was in a ponytail. She was wearing orange shorts and an orange crop top, orange wristbands, and blue shoes.

"Lilly! Andy! I found something!" Alex shouted.

"Alex I told you, my name is Lynn!" Lynn jogged over to him.

"Well, this just might progress the plot." Andy shrugged and followed her.

Alex was standing over a Caterpie gawking at it. "This is the coolest. Thing. Ever." Alex was a young boy with the same blue eyes as his sister. His brown hair was peeking out from under his backward blue cap. Alex was wearing a green shirt with a Sableye on it, black shorts, and blue shoes.

"Alex. That is a Caterpie." Lynn sighed.

"But Lilly. Can I pleeease catch it?!" Alex begged.

"Alex no. You're not old enough."

"All of my friends had Pokémon! And that was way before we left after you lost your job!"

"Sure. My job..."

"Oooh foreshadowing!" Andy said.

"So can I catch it?" Alex gave her the saddest eyes he could.

Lynn didn't flinch. "No. Now, Alex, me and Andy were in the middle of a very important adult conversation. So please don't interrupt us. Now, where were we? Oh right. You are insane Andy!"

"What if everyone else is insane and I'm the only sane one?" Andy proposed.

"That's what an insane person would say."

"Or is it?"

"YES, IT IS!"

"Insane or not, me and my Larvitar are the only ones who can stop those Houndoom."

"Once my Meditite evolves I'll be able to handle them myself."

"But until then can you risk Alex?"

"Ugh, you are just so... UGH!" Lynn stomped off.

"Well, I guess this means no Caterpie. Hey Andy, tell me something about the other world." Alex said.

"Well kid, in their world we're just a story and none of us are real. Nothing we do matters." Andy said. "Alright now let's figure out how we're going to get unlost."

"What about the Houndoom?" Alex asked.

"Oh don't worry about them. They aren't going to appear until..." Andy took the book from his coat pocket and opened it. "Chapter ten. Well, they'll appear in chapter four as backstory for when I first saved you guys... oh, no wait Author is rewriting the story. Now the Houndoom will appear-oh crap."

Suddenly a snarl escaped the mouth of a creature in the bushes. A Houndoom emerged, flames inside its mouth. The Pokémon was dog-like. It had black fur with horns sticking out of its head. Its tail was pointed at the end. Imagine if the devil became a dog. Andy scribbled down.

"A-Andy. What do we do?" Alex asked, shaking.

"Don't worry kid." The Houndoom walked away. No, it didn't! Instead, two more emerged from the bushes.

"OH NO!" Lynn ran back over to them, two more Houndoom followed her. "Andy now is not the time for reading more of your conspiracy stuff!"

"Five? Are you kidding me? Last time it was three!" Andy shouted. Fine then. They decided to not attack Andy and all turned to Lynn. They turned their attention back to Andy. Lynn. Andy. Alex. Are you serious? Fine Lynn. Man, you're such an egomaniac. Nu-uh! And a child. Andy put the book away and the Houndoom returned their attention to him.

"Just send out Larvitar!" Lynn ordered.

"Fine man. But watch out. David Hasselhoff let's do this!" Andy tossed a Pokeball into the air and in a flash of light, a small green Pokémon with a red center appeared on the ground.

"Larvitar!" The Pokémon squeaked.

"Alright, David! Use rock slide!" A portal appeared above the Houndoom and rocks rained from them, the Houndoom scattered, two of them getting pinned under the rocks.

The three remaining Houndoom growled, the obvious leader of the group stepped forward. Flames filled its mouth and it leaped forward at David.

"David go home!" Andy commanded, David nodded and slid under Houndoom like it was playing baseball. Houndoom landed on the ground and turned its head, spewing flames at the rock and ground type Pokémon.

"Now Power Rangers!" David tried to do a bunch of unnecessary acrobatics but wasn't limber enough, instead, he fell on his face and the flames narrowly missed him, instead of hitting the other two Houndoom. They didn't have flash fire, right? No for the sake of plot ONE didn't, the other one was perfectly fine.

"David, don't pull a Stand and Deliver and have a bunch of pointless things happen and have nothing matter! Instead, use your sandstorm like the man you were named after!" David somehow understood that and sand flew from the holes in its sides. The sand whipped into a tornado, blinding the Houndoom.

"So can we run now?" Lynn asked.

"No, we're just going to stand here and wait for them to be ready to attack us like in a bad horror movie! Oh hey look I can see the microphone! Wow, we're really going downhill. But we're guaranteed at least 5 sequels!" At that point, Alex and Lynn had already gotten a head start. "DANGIT!" Andy returned David and dashed after them.
