Eren's POV

Today was the first mission the training squad was supposed to fight in. I had (Y/N) on my squad which was great. We didn't speak of the kiss at all and she always seemed more shy towards me which I guess was because of the action I had taken that night. I sighed, trying to relieve myself of the pressure I was feeling. I heard gear clank against gear and hurried footsteps and I saw a girl run past to go talk to someone. I couldn't help but feel as if I ruined the friendship we had.

"Eren!" I looker at (Y/N) when she came running to me on the wall. My eyes widened when she brought her arms up when smoke filled the air and I stared in horror as the colossal titan loomed over the wall again just like that dreadful day.

Damn it! It broke the wall... Again! And I couldn't cut the nape, it had just disappeared in a blast of smoke before I could.

"Eren..." I looked at Ymir and froze at the bloodied form by her feet. I walked over slowly and stared down at the girl I loved... (H/C) hair sprawled out like a fan around her head, laid on her side, blood gushing from her head and staining her hair and uniform. I kneeled down and touched her cheek gently and tensed up at the coldness I felt and realized her chest wasn't rising nor falling and her eyes were closed instead of opening up to look up at me with the smile I loved seeing everyday.

"(Y/N)," I whispered and gripped her arm tightly.

(Y/N)!" I screamed her name over and over and shook her body repeatedly until someone pulled me off of her and I felt tears drip down my face.

Readers POV

I felt pain as I gasped in air and my eyes shot open, the sun blinding me and I squinted and sat up slowly and a jacket slide down my body. I held it close and breathed in Eren's familiar scent. Things were so blurry in my mind when I tried remembeting the past events and I stumbled up and gripped the jacket as I looked out at the village, titans and squad members fighting.

"Eren," I whispered.

"Armin!" I smiled but it faded quickly when he was crying.

"(Y/N)," he whispered and looked up at me.

I screamed... Eren... Dead by a titan, I mean he thought I had died but... Eren... I leaned against the wall and wiped my eyes, tears mixing with blood and smearing on the back of my hand when I did so. I looked over at Mikasa and clutched the jacket to my chest breathing in and out slowly before rolling it up and tying it around my thigh.

"I'll go too... I'll fight them," I walked forward and gulped. Let these cowards stay...

"I'll revenge him!" I cried as my fists clenched up around the handles of my swords. Yes... I'll revenge him...

"Eren," I whispered.
